Diamonds and Dynamite is an exciting story with plenty of action, but its greatest strength is the heart of its characters. Stephanie’s struggles with guilt and trust issues from her difficult past felt authentic. I appreciated how realistically Jane Daly portrayed Stephanie’s unique challenges caring for her mother with dementia. Max’s mature Christian faith was visible in his kindness, patience, and concern for others. Gotta love a genuine, good guy!
This story never shies away from the hard realities in the lives of its characters, yet it remains hopeful throughout.
Most of all, I loved the reminder that God meets us where we are and offers grace, healing, and second chances. This was a fast-paced, heartfelt read that I wholeheartedly recommend.
