While I don't approve of divorce, like anything else in the world, sometimes there IS a place for it. This author delicately brings both sides out and looks with Christian values and Faith in God's Holy Bible to give hope to all involved in a time of great distress, broken faith, failed relationships, dishonesty, sin and despair. "But, God!" My favorite words in the Bible! God can restore, renew, and refresh a marriage, but when one isn't a believer, God can also forgive, and give hope for a new future. Excellent narration!
This book was an inspirational, Christian book that really delivered!
It was a sweet, wholesome, compelling read that keeps you turning and turning the pages looking for more. This book seemed harder to like than the first two in the series.
It was able to stand alone and deliver an HEA, which is a mighty important point for me.
I enjoyed this novel as good as the first in the series. The main character is gaining her independence, learning who she is as a woman as well as caring for others. The strong family bonds portrayed are touching and inspiring. A clean, sweet historical.
A story of Lily and Joshua accepting their past and building for a future together. With support from her sister we see Lily becoming strong and independant. A good clean historical story. The narration by Heather added to the story. Given audio for my voluntary review
I was not as impressed with this book as I was with the other books in this series. Thinking that her husband has divorced her, Lily comes to Hollow, Montana to start over. She begins to have feelings for the livery owner, Joshua, when her husband suddenly turns up and let's her know that he never finalized the divorce. I would have preferred that Lily's marriage had ended with death as I believe that divorce and remarriage is unacceptable in God's eyes.
Returning to God and making a commitment to him made the loved shared new again. Beautiful and amazing love story from the side of a woman scorned and a man realizing he was a better man and deserved love with the right woman.
I love all three books in this series. All three were great. The character's were very interesting and the store's great reads. I couldn't put any of them down.
Very good book about simple life verses society lifestyle. I enjoyed the sweet love story and the Christian values of pray ,faith and leaning on the lord.
