This was such a heartfelt small-town romance filled with healing, family, and finding your way back to the people—and the place—you never thought you’d call home again.

As the town lawyer, devoted single dad, and Sadie’s high school sweetheart, he’s carrying his own grief while trying to raise his children after the loss of his wife. Watching him slowly open his heart again was emotional, and I loved how patient, caring, and dependable he was throughout the story.

Sadie was equally easy to root for. She returns carrying years of hurt and unresolved feelings, and I enjoyed watching her rediscover not only her hometown but also herself. Her emotional journey felt genuine, and I appreciated seeing her work through the complicated relationship she had with her father.

The chemistry between Sadie and Logan was full of nostalgia, longing, and all those “what if” moments that make second-chance romances so satisfying. Their shared history made every interaction meaningful, and I couldn’t help rooting for them to find their way back to each other.

I also loved the small-town setting. Heartbreak, Georgia, felt like its own character, full of quirky residents, community spirit, and plenty of people invested in Sadie and Logan’s happily ever after. The mystery surrounding the father’s will and the future of the family hotel kept the story engaging beyond the romance.

The reason this is a 4-star read for me is that I would have liked a little more emotional depth in a few of the conflicts, and some plot points wrapped up a bit quicker than I expected. Even so, the characters and cozy small-town atmosphere made this an enjoyable read.

Overall, You, Me, and Heartbreak is a sweet, emotional romance about forgiveness, second chances, and discovering that sometimes going home is exactly where you’re meant to be. If you love small-town romances with lovable characters, single dads, and rekindled first loves, this one is definitely worth adding to your TBR. 💔🏡❤️✨
