It´s a good introduction to Chilean history, it gives you a good overlook after which you can choose which part of history you want to learn more about. It´s easy to read and the pictures are chosen well.

But the typos almost made me feel physical pain while reading the book. So if you´re a teacher, don´t read it! And it´s not just typos, there are bad translations from Spanish. I guess it´s a nice book to read in Spanish, but the English version is terrible, there are at least 3 mistakes on every page.

It's a useful book if you're introducing in Chilean history, nothing else.

This is not prose, there is no beautiful writing.
This is not a long deep look at the history of Chile. It really glosses over everything, even "recent" important events like the coup of 1973.
There are quite a few typos (especially spacing typos. eg "athe most")

But I like it alot because despite the roughly two dozen of typos, its extremely easy to read and really gives the quick introduction it promises. I was able to complete it in two days (after work).
