I am not a history teacher, I teach Gen Ed elementary - but I love books like this so I took a shot. Seriously such a great read and a fresh perspective! It emphasizes that students learn more when they actively engage with ideas instead of simply receiving information.

Great ideas for inquiry-based history teaching.
Best part of the book is when he admitted not every day can or should be crazy—there is is a place for lecture and regular teaching.

Lecture less.

I’m on it.

An excellent book for any social studies teacher. It will stay on my shelf as any easy to grab reference for many of the things I learned in Dan's online course.

As a 25 year teaching veteran I found inspiration and reinvigoration in this book. It will be a reference on my desk for years to come.
