Highly recommended prequel!

I highly recommend this prequel to Volcano Ranch, even if you haven’t read the latter yet. It opens up the story line a bit for those of you who have read it. Mr Covert’s attention to detail is very good; even the beer in bottles at the saloon is authentic (I researched it myself). The story is very gripping after a bit of a slow start. However, it does have a bit of a double cliffhanger at the end. Is there another book to tie the other two stories together in the future? I sure hope so!

Good Book

I enjoyed reading this prequel to Volcano Ranch. It is a Cowboys and Indians story of the old west and a great love story to boot.
