Peter - Goblin Power (Peter: A Darkened Fairytale, Vol 8): Short Poems & Tiny Thoughts

Rate this book
Peter's Goblins - Short Poems and Tiny Thoughts is a fantastical collection of short poems based upon the surreal, magical story A Darkened Fairytale. Fans of Peter will enjoy this great little set to compliment the other books in the Peter series. These mischievous fellows get up to all sorts of no good in hidden places - goblin magic, stealing wands and even fairies. Carrying skull lanterns, you best watch out or they may just want to take hold of you. Don't say I didn't warn you. Now, run and hide! The Peter's Goblins set consists of three volumes, so keep a look out for more dark goblins coming shortly. The tale of Peter has inspired several books of which, Goblin Way is the sixth publication and there are many more adventures soon to be released.

Living in a small village in Lancashire, England, the author has written a number of books based on the tale 'Peter'.

In the 1990s, the author had twenty-one articles published, both nationally and internationally. After gaining an honours degree in Geosciences, doing post-graduate study in Occupational Health and Fitness, and earning a masters degree in Science Communication, he developed an interest for simple communication.

A passion for writing again emerged, and combining various interests in fine art, museum exhibition display, biology, geology, poetry, and the mystical led to the story of Peter: A Darkened Fairytale. The author still retains a childlike vision of the world, which is conveyed throughout his books.

After reading the previous volumes, I had to pick up vol 8, Peter - Goblin Power. The author has a definite richness to his writing that is rarely seen. Images will be formed in your mind as pictures are painted to create worlds of enchantment that feel as real as the one in which you stand. The introduction of Peter's Goblins gradually steers the storyline from innocence toward the darker side of fairytales. Without doubt, it is a book for children, slightly scary stories to be read in a dimly lit room and wait as the magic flows from these clever short stories. Adults will love these poems and all these books are brilliant for parents to read to the kids.

More goblin power, as the storyline grow darker and more intricate, touching the cords the readers wouldn't expect.

Peter's Goblins - Short Poems and Tiny Thoughts is a fantastical collection of short poems based upon the surreal, magical story Peter: A Darkened Fairytale.

As one of Peter's most enthusiastic fans, I know you'll enjoy this set of Peter tales. The world of "Peter: A Darkened Fairytale" is one to which a reader can return again and again, and always some new and worthwhile nugget of wisdom. I recommend all the books in the Peter series. In Goblin Power, the rascally goblins are up to mischief. They wield their goblin magic, stealing artifacts and people, even fairies. Stay well away from anyone with a skull lantern, or they'll grab you.
