Summer is so close to finishing her master’s degree and finally building the life she’s been chasing. Dead Girl Walking is Kamira’s debut novel. She grew up in North Bend, Washington, and has wanted to be an author since she could set pencil to paper. After graduating from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Kamira became a technical writer but never stopped dreaming of publishing fantastic stories. When not writing, she enjoys traveling, reading with her book club, and spending time with her three feline companions—who graciously allow her at least an hour a day with her husband. I devoured this book! I am so glad I stopped to meet Kamira at our local market - I would have never found this adorable west coast romance otherwise!

This is pure “hot for teacher” and I’m here for it. The tension and the coincidences are perfect.

I was privileged enough to read this as an ARC. I thought I would hate it, and honestly requested it so I could spread my wings a little bit. It ended up being a book that I couldn’t put down. I absolutely loved the character development and the romance.

This was a fun, easy read with the perfect amount of spice! Kamira does a wonderful job immersing you in her stories and pays close attention to detail so nothing is left up to your imagination. I wish there was a *little* more yearning between Summer and Asher, but their relationship still delivered everything I wanted it to! Dare I say it seems there are multiple opportunities for some side characters to get their own books??? Just a thought 🤪

If you're looking for a fun read with some spice, this is it! This charming love story follows a hard-working grad student and her devastatingly handsome professor, and fortunately for you, dear reader, any and every fantasy you've ever had concerning academia transpires beautifully in the halls of Cascadia University just for you. Set in the Pacific Northwest, the tension between Summer and Professor Stirling is an exciting dilemma that draws on the curiosity about what could happen when we've been "hot for teacher". A delightful mix of fun, feels, and frisky business, Teach Me is a riveting read for anyone who appreciates romance that's found in unconventional places. Grab an apple martini and cozy up with your cat- with each page turn, the hotter the scandal becomes.

(This book also does a great job of navigating healthy, adult relationships in a setting that could be otherwise concerning. This author safely journeys through potentially dangerous situations in a responsible and enjoyable way. Though the characters and events are purely fictional (and any resemblance is coincidence), there are no suggestions or implications that anyone should abuse their position or power, in any circumstance.)

this was an easy read!! i don’t really like third act breakups but despite this, how the story flowed is good!
