Ciara and Smooth try to rekindle their love that they shared once upon a time. Smooth fights hard to prove that he's a changed man, although he still has a confession that he must reveal. Kanye cares deeply for Ciara and is looking out for her heart. He knows that Smooth isn't taking care of home but doesn't want to seem like a hater, so he allows Ciara to make her own decisions. Ciara is confused and really wants her marriage to work but she also wants real love and happiness. Kayla is still crazy in love with Smooth. Smooth has cut off all lines of communication with her because he's working on trying to get his family back together. With the help of Aaliyah on the outside, Kayla is aware of everything that is going on. Revenge is the only thing that is on Kayla's mind once she's released. The biggest instigator Aaliyah keeps up so much mess that it backfires on her. She now has relationship problems of her own that she has to face. Kelly and Anthony are so in love that no one can tear them apart. That was until Anthony's mother Marilyn pops out of no where and comes back into his life. Kelly accepts her from a distance, but wants to know what is Marilyn's motive for showing up after all these years. Meanwhile, Ebony is still up to her trifling ways. She now has her hands on Tommy and his stash. Once his woman, Tia, finds out things get out of hand and blood will be shed.
These characters lives were filled with lies, betrayal and murder. Smooth just couldn't seem to do right by Ciara. It was one lie after another but this lie he was hiding was one that there was no coming back from. Ciara was trying her best to make it work with her husband. However her heart wasn't really in it. Vell and Aaliyah was having all kinds of problems. Vell was doing something sneaky behind Aaliyah back that ended up backfiring. Ebony still haven't learned her lesson. She was steady being scandalous. Kayla was truly pitiful. This girl just don't seem to take rejection well because she's delusional.
I happy that Ciara did what she had to do about smooth, he definitely was trying live up to his name lol am happy tia and Tommy worked out, homeboy almost lost it alllll, tia is the real ride and die. Now ebony and Rio being related make since cause they both wack. As the saying goes, what comes around goes around even hareder. Thanks for these great series.
I chose this ratings regardless of the spelling mistakes. This book has love, hate, crime, sex and definitely a page turner. The characters are realistic and some are crazy as hell if you love excitement mixed with drama? Read this. You won't regret it.
It was a good book BUT i didn't feel like it should have been a series i felt like it could have been just 1 maybe 2 books TOPS.... I'm happy for Ciara for finally levaing Smooth and getting her somebody that truely love her for her.............. Kayla thAT BITCH WAS CRAY CRAY WHEN SHE GOT OUT OF JAIL FOR DOING TIME FOR SMOOTH SHE SHOULD HAVE CAME HOME AND GOT HER SHIT TOGETHER AND BEEN WORRYING ABOUT HER BABY INSTEAD WORRYING ABOUT WHAT SMOOTH WAS DOING WITH CIARA. AALIYAH ASS WAS BETTER THAN ME BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK VEL ASS BACK AFTER HE GAVE HER HERPS SMH
How many women stay with men who continue to break their hearts. I am so glad that Ciara got the strength to move and she found her happily ever after with Kanye. Too bad for Smooth he had to learn a hard lesson too late. At least his crazy butt got a vasectomy. Now that Kayla she needs to be glad that cutting her finger off and dragging her down the stairs was all Ciara did because....oooo weeee! Im glad that everyone else stayed together and were happy
THE FIRST THREE BOOKS OF THE SERIES WERE REALLY GOOD AND INTERESTING BUT WITH THIS ONE I LOST INTEREST. THE WAY THE WRITER INTRODUCED NEW CHARACTERS DID NOT BLEND WELL WITHIN THE BOOK. SHE ADDED TOO MANY PEOPLE AT ONE TIME AND I OFTEN GOT CONFUSED. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS HURRY UP FINISH AND GET THE BOOK OVER WITH.
I loved how this book ended. It wrapped up every characters storyline. I would have given this book 5 stars but there were so many typos. I recommend this book.
