SIX STARS READ

Kiss Me Like You Own Me is a tension-filled, chemistry-laden page-turner that delivers romance, suspense, and an unforgettable couple.

And just like the rest of the series, Tristan and Angelica’s story continues to completely hook me from start to finish. The way Rue balances between details from the past books and forward momentum is just something else!

And the chemistry between the main couple? Unreal! Angelica and Tristan practically ignite the pages. I don’t know how my kindle didn’t burn! Their connection is so palpable that it becomes its own source of tension, matching the grit and intensity woven throughout the story… and honestly, it just makes everything so much more heightened and I devoured this book!

Because KMLYOM is like that first cocktail on a girls' night out - thrilling, addictive, and leaving you desperate for more. And in true Rue style, she delivers that something more! There’s always so much happening, emotionally, romantically, and plot-wise, but it never feels overwhelming.

So, if you’re looking for a bodyguard romance with plenty of suspense, spice and a story that consumes you, Kiss Me Like You Own Me and the rest of the series is for you.

I honestly don't know where to begin with this review.

First, a little context: I am not a dark romance reader. In fact, the Angelica Crane series was my very first venture into the genre, and my obsession with these books is becoming borderline unhinged at this point, in the very best possible way!

Before I say anything else, I have to stress that this is not a series you should jump into at Book 3. To fully appreciate Kiss Me Like You Own Me, you really need to have read Kiss Me Like You Hate Me and Kiss Me Like You Love Me first. Tristan and Angelica's journey is at the heart of this story, and knowing everything they've endured together makes this installment so much more powerful.

This book dives deeper into their relationship than ever before, and what an emotional, beautiful, heart-wrenching journey it is. Rue Wilde has an incredible talent for writing scenes that completely wreck you as a reader before carefully piecing you back together again. One moment you're clutching your chest, the next you're laughing, then suddenly you're thrown into a pulse-pounding action sequence or a spice scene hot enough to take the door clean off its hinges.

What continues to impress me most about this series is the characters. Every single one feels fully realised, with their own history, motivations, flaws and personality. They don't simply exist to serve the plot, they feel like real people.

Returning to familiar faces such as Abby, Cassian and Julian felt like coming home, while newcomers Devon (who is an absolute riot) and Elise brought fresh energy and new dynamics to the story.

While this installment perhaps contains slightly less action than the previous two books, that's not a criticism in any way. In fact, it was exactly what the story needed. It gave Tristan and Angelica's relationship the space to breathe, allowing readers to fully explore the depth, vulnerability and strength of their bond.Their connection feels raw, hard-earned and incredibly powerful.

Picking up immediately after the events of Book 2, Angelica is preparing to take the reins at Crane Enterprises, with Tristan standing steadfastly beside her. But as we've learned throughout this series, nothing is ever straightforward for these two. Secrets, espionage, betrayals (not from our main couple!), high stakes, a race against time, a secret room, ghosts from Tristan's past, and constant uncertainty about who can be trusted ensure the tension never lets up.

And through it all, one question remains: will Tristan and Angelica ever get the happily ever after they so desperately deserve?

This book has everything I love in a story: emotion, humour, found family, secrets, betrayals, romance, action, suspense and spice hotter than the surface of the sun. Most importantly, it has heart.Rue continues to prove why this series has become one of my all-time favourites, an absolutely phenomenal read that left me emotionally destroyed, completely satisfied, and already desperate for more.

Kiss Me Like You Own Me is a high-tension, chemistry-laden page-turner that perfectly delivers on romance, suspense, and an unforgettable couple.

As the third installment in the Angelica Crane series, it successfully ramps up the suspense while providing a powerful and soul-satisfying conclusion for our leads.

The plot is gripping and expertly paced. As Angelica settles into her role at Crane Enterprises, she quickly uncovers that the inheritance she received comes with a lethal price tag.

Secrets lurk behind every boardroom door, and as old enemies resurface and shocking betrayals come to light, Tristan Thompson, who has dedicated his life to guarding Angelica, now finds himself fighting a deeply personal war where his usual defenses are completely ineffective.

The way the author balances intricate details from past books with relentless forward momentum is impressive; even with the heavy emotional depth and complex plot twists, the story never feels overwhelming.

Then, there is the chemistry. Angelica and Tristan practically ignite the pages. Their connection is so palpable that it becomes its own source of tension, matching the grit and intensity woven throughout the story.

It is that rare combination of thrilling and addictive—much like that first cocktail on a girls' night out—leaving you desperate for more.

If you are looking for a bodyguard romance packed with suspense, intensity, and a love worth fighting for, this series is a must-read that will completely consume you.

BI was hooked from the first chapter and devoured it in one sitting!

Kiss Me Like You Own Me by Rue Wilde

Book three in the Angelica Crane series proves once again why Rue keeps readers hooked from start to finish!

After the loss of her father, Angelica takes her rightful place at the helm of Crane & Associates. But on her very first day, she’s met with resistance from board members who doubt her abilities and believe CEO Elliott Whitmore should be running the company instead.

Thankfully, Angelica has Tristan firmly in her corner. Her former bodyguard and soon-to-be husband is fiercely protective, unwaveringly loyal, and knows she belongs exactly where she is—leading the company. Their relationship is filled with passion, devotion, and the kind of chemistry that leaps off the page.

With a wedding to plan, Angelica and Tristan should be focused on their future together. Instead, they’re facing sabotage, danger, and an enemy determined to tear everything apart. The question is: who wants them to fail—and will they make it to their wedding day?

Rue delivers everything readers love: heart-pounding suspense, found family, unforgettable characters, action-packed moments, and plenty of steamy scenes. If you’re looking for a romantic suspense that keeps you guessing while making you swoon, this one belongs on your TBR!

We are back with Angelica and Tristan and it feels good to be back with them. This third book put me through every emotion possible. I was angry, sad, bawling my eyes out, so in love and happy. Rue makes you feel all of it and you will not want to put the book down and find your self staying up to the wee hours of the night trying to read more. Rue Wilde can write a spicy scene 🌶️🌶️ and I’m here for it! Have your water ready 🤭

Our favorite characters are back, Julian, Cassian and Abby. But we add in a few fantastic new ones that you absolutely fall in love with, Devon and Elise.

I highly recommend reading book 1 and 2 before diving into this book, as we pick up where book 2 left off at. Angelica is now taking over Crane Enterprises but that doesn’t come without its own obstacles. Tristan’s past comes back with a vengeance. And with everything that is happening will Tristan and Angelica finally get their happy ending?

This is a must read!! Let the romantic suspense continue!

I was not a fan of the first the book. I found Angelica to be very whiny and immature. But I decided to read the second book because you can’t just judge an author on one book and call it a day. The second one won me over. She’d grown so much, and her and Tristin were fire. So of course when I had the opportunity to hopefully read the third as an arc reader, I signed up. And here I am with having had an amazing time with this third one. Angelica is taking her seat within the corporation. But of course nothing ever goes smoothly. And this is where you’re hit with such an intensity. Enemies surfacing, an inheritance with a tag on it that absolutely crazy. And then Tristin is dealing with his past coming forth. This had twists and turns like no other. But there was no shortage of Angelica and Tristin keeping things hot and spicy.

4.5 rounded up to 5.

I was so excited for this installment in Angelica and Tristan's story and it did not disappoint. I wanted them to go through things that would test their bonds because they needed it. They needed to have something that would push them once their relationship was in the light of day. And ho boy did Rue push them.

I also once again was SCREECHING at Angelica to please, for the love of the goddess, listen to Tristan and if you aren't going to listen to him, listen to your own gut. Because she was not... at all... and it almost cost them everything.

I will say that I am chomping at the bit to find out more about Sophia call me Sophie (iykyk) and I still do NOT fully trust Julian. But I don't trust pretty men in general.

I also thought I wanted a MMF with Julian, Abigail, and Cassian, but now I NEED it with Devon. Like NEED it. So here's hoping!

I love this series and once again we are thrown into the world of Angelica and Tristan and once again I am in love with these characters. Whilst Tristan and Angelica are planning their future wedding there is also some drama for them as they have to navigate their way through some danger and the question is whether they will actually make it to their wedding or will someone succeed in sabotaging their future. As always Angelica always has Tristan at her back and when she is in danger he will always be in protective bodyguard mode. There was an emotional aspect to this book as well and as we delve further into the book we are left wondering what more these two could possibly have to deal with to get to their HEA. Fantastic book and series that is a must read!

Kiss Me Like You Own Me hits like a match dropped in gasoline. Angelica steps deeper into a world built on power, lies, and legacy, and every chapter tightens the grip around her.
Tristan is the kind of man who stands between her and the fire , not to stop it, but to make sure she walks through it untouched.
Their connection is intense, consuming, and charged with the kind of emotional heat that makes you flip pages fast.
This book is all dangerous devotion, high‑pressure chemistry, and the thrill of two people who refuse to let go, even when the world is collapsing around them. It’s quick, punchy, and addictive — the kind of read that leaves you breathless from the tension
alone.

Kiss Me Like You Own Me is book 3 in the Angelica Crane series, and boy is it a doozy! The characters are well-written and add depth to the story. Angelica and Tristan's story began in the earlier books, when he was her bodyguard. This book opens as Angelica is ready to take her position at Crane Enterprises. Of course, smooth sailing would be too much to ask. Instead, there are lies, secrets, betrayals, and corporate espionage to overcome. Throw in a little spice, and you've got a story you can't put down!

Thank you to Rue Wilde for the ARC opportunity for Kiss Me Like You Own Me.

This book was my introduction to Rue Wilde, but I definitely have the remaining books in my TBR now.

Despite starting at KMLYOM, I didn't feel lost reading it. The chemistry between Angelica and Tristan was so damn good. So much tension and intensity. I was hooked from the first chapter, and trust me, this book will take you through various emotions as you read.

If you are looking for an addictive Dark Romance with suspense, check out Kiss Me Like You Own Me.

This is the third book in the Angelica Crane series. It’s a gripping, dark romance. I loved Tristan and Angelica’s continuing story. Book three starts right where we left off in book two. Angelica is grieving and trying to find out who is truly in her corner. There are lingering questions from her father's past and more than enough to keep her and Tristian guessing who is out to destroy the legacy her father built. But what stays in the past sometimes should stay in the past.
