I love when the man falls first! 🥰 Kareem and Arielle are sent to a resort by their families for some rest and relaxation. However, Arielle is annoyed as her trip begins all wrong, and Kareem has issues with his room upon arrival. As Kareem is giving the front desk the business about his room, Arielle can't help but to crack up at this man scaring the hell outta everybody. 🤣
When they meet again Kareem wants an island bae, so he shoots his shot. Their chemistry is immediate, and a time was had. But Kareem was really feeling "Mermaid" and came home meaner than ever when he had no way to contact her. Fate intervened when Arielle learns that Kareem owns the building she is moving into. Let the games begin. That damn Kareem didn't care what the hell came out of his mouth and was already head over heels for Arielle. He was popping up with food and flowers, ready to cater to her every need the moment he laid eyes on her again. Arielle didn't even try to fight it, cause she knew she wanted his crazy ass too! 🤣 Quick, fun read.

I thought I would like this but it was just alright. I couldn't vibe with Kareem because him being grumpy and bullying anybody for no reason was a turn off. The way he was acting was childish as hell for somebody that's 37. I can only do a bully MMC trope if he's bullying people who deserve it no just anybody.Same for being grumpy. At least have a reason. The way Arielle always laughed it off like it was cute was crazy because girl...what? I also was not a fan of the fade to black sex scenes. They were either cut short or straight up happened off page. It was a lot of telling and not showing in that area. I absolutely hated it. The book wasn't terrible but it did nothing for me unfortunately.

The part " a word from kareem" had me hooked cause yes!!!!
She was going through it, and i dont blame her for not being a usual nice person cause it was rough times for her.
She was on vacation to try relax and forgot that good for nothing ex of hers, but that was easier said than done.
Cause he didnt make it easy especially with being away he didnt want let go only due to him not having a job ever I think we all been there and had a no job ex (sitting on their ass doing nothing)
Sloane, her bestie, loves her the way she rides or dies bestie and her hype woman, and most of all, she hates arielle ex .
Kareem's parents had giggled when they were on the phone with him . That man presence is something that just makes you wanna giggle as well cause he is all man.
Chapter 3 was 🔥🔥 especially when he asked who taught her suck dick like that I was loving that .
Snax had such a happy, positive attitude and always down for kareem .
I lost it with so much excitement when he said " my little mermaid "
I just genuinely loved that he knew what and who he wanted & wasn't scared to admit that.

This was a good ass read! Kareem fell for Arielle HARD! And I was here for it. It was funny cuz he didn't have to do that teacher like that. But also, he made it know how much he cared for Arielle and he would do anything for her. How he confessed his love to her was funny, but that just showed the reader that he truly never been in love before.
Overall, a great story!
Only thing is that I wish we got the doctor appointment scene with Arielle finding out she had lupus. I would've loved to see how Kareem would handle it.

This was very fast-paced, so if you don't love instalove, this will not be for you. Kareem applied pressure from the second he came back into contact with Arielle, so she definitely didn't stand a chance trying to run from him. I really loved that they both didn't seem to fight their feelings too much. Yes, they were initially shocked by them, but after the initial shock, they leaned in; it was all gas, no brakes, very quick and cute.

Kareem was an ignorant somebody 🤣 I found myself giggling at a lot of his antics. He was bossy, a little bit of a bully, but oh so soft for his “Mermaid.” I liked that Arielle didn’t really fight him too much either. she just leaned into the crazy.
Kareem and his Mermaid had instant, undeniable chemistry, and their connection was fun to watch unfold. It was very instalove, so if you don’t like “I love you’s” after only 30 days, you probably won’t enjoy this one. There was a random plot point thrown into the very last chapter/epilogue that I think would have been interesting to explore more deeply in the main story rather than tacked on at the end.
But overall, this was a sweet romance about intense connection, attraction, and the idea that sometimes fate really does deliver you exactly who you’re meant to have.

Kareem and Arielle!!
Kareem and Arielle have a one-night stand after meeting while they are on vacation, but she runs out on him. Two weeks later, they run into each other again when Arielle moves into an apartment building that Kareem owns. This time, Kareem was determined that his Mermaid wasn't getting away from him again. Kareem had me cackling several times while I was reading this book, especially at the resort concierge desk and the sip and paint date. Arielle was able to calm Kareem down somewhat, and I loved that for him. They didn't fight their feelings for each other which gave me all the feels. This was a very well-written instalove book that held my attention from the very first page. You need to 1 Click this book. I promise you won't be disappointed.

You’re All I Need To Get By!
I loved this insta-love story. It was cute, spicy, and funny. Kareem was brash and blunt and it actually turned Arielle on, plus she found him cute. He saw her and instantly found her attractive, interesting, and fine. Kareem and Arielle were perfect everything happened fast but right on time. The way the saw each other when they first met, the flirting, the BE and reciprocated energy was everything. To later find out they’d be closer to each than they could’ve ever imagined was the perfect surprise considering the feelings were there. They now had all the time in the world to act on them and realize they’d be all each other ever needed.

Tbh this book shouldn’t have taken me that long to read but this slump has been dragging me for months!
Anyways this book was great! I loved their chemistry and how they let love run them and not fear of what could be make them run away, especially Arielle. Arielle honestly reminds me of myself (being a hopeless romantic, who meets her match in the love department). Whew anyway this was a great book and I loved how Kareem loved on her and adored her and was 10 toes behind her and for her no matter what!

As always, Cyn does it again! 🤭 This was a quick read. So, boom! Both Kareem & Arielle (his little mermaid) 😉 get sent to the same resort to reset. She spots him acting a clown. He has no sense 😂 - Anyways, they have a quick one night stand. He’s pissed because she runs off and hides. 2 weeks later, fate steps in (Big Homie don’t ever miss) & she’s moving into an apartment building he owns. The rest is history. Kareem applies major pressure. Gives BDE. Ends with a HEA 💖

Mix thoughts
I normally give 5 stars and most of the books I have read from this author I enjoyed. I’m big on positive characters and understand this is fiction. My concern is Kareem rudeness and bad behavior in the name of love. I would hate for a young woman to read this and think it’s ok for that type of behavior.
A lot of times people don’t remove the real mindset of a person with a fictional character 😏

Him acting a plum fool at every turn was just too funny and for Arielle to be the only one who could get him together was perfect. This is a quick read that will keep you smiling and wanting just a little more. Cyn has given some bangers for me in the last few months. We even got to see Habib for a minute. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Wow! What an incredible read. This book truly has it all. I was captivated by how quickly Kareem and Arielle fell for each other—proving that when it's meant to be, nothing can stop it. He was a goner
Kareem was an entire mess. Crashed at at every turn like an adult temper tantrum. It was funny because he was too old to be mad things didn't go his way all the time.
I enjoyed Arielle though. My girl was just laid back after she dropped that zero and got herself an unhinged man that spoiled and ate her down.
This was a decent quick read.

All You’ll Ever Need!
Welp it looks like in a 105 pages I got myself a new book bae. Kareem was everything he needed to be! He was rough to everyone on the outside but for his Mermaid he would do anything. I loved that they had an insta love. You packed a whole lot of story in just a few pages and I absolutely loved every word of it!

I adored this book🤗Kareem was off the chain but he found his anchor in Arielle🩵I too have lupus, have been on this lupus journey for 35 yrs. It is hard to diagnose, but glad Arielle came out on top 🙏🏾👊🏽great read!!! Kareem did not play bout his mermaid 🤭hilarious moments 🤭🤭

Short and Spicy (like Mermaid iykyk)
Short and paced perfectly. Very spicy but has a proper storline to follow. It made proper use of side characters not too fleshed out but they appeared enough to give you a sample of what type of people the MCs kept in their circle. Cyn rarely miss the mark.

Good short story.
Kareem is a mean man that doesn’t tolerate much that is until his eyes landed on his mermaid. Her smile, her laughs and the way she looks captivated him at first encounter. I would have liked mermaid’s medical diagnosis to be a chapter verses just a sentence in the epilogue.

Quick and straight to the point. Kareem was my kind of bully. Why he kicked that man off the elevator just because he felt like he was holding him up from telling His little mermaid he loved her? My type of timing lol. He was definitely a menace though. I enjoyed reading this. I would recommend.
