Trista Monroe is badass. She is the only female member to ever wear the cut of the Fallen Idols Motorcycle Club. She's nobody's old lady and she likes it that way.
Blaze Taylor hardly remembers the club, but his old man died trying to protect it. He wants to honor his father, but being a prospect isn't easy. Especially when the president's daughter is sexy, feisty and totally off limits.
Forbidden love is the ultimate battle, one that these two Fallen Idols might just die for.
Savannah Rylan is a romance writer that spends most of her time writing and reading with her cat, Gris. When not penning the next great American novel, (HA), you can find her on the beach with a drink in her hand or at the gym testing out some strange new position. Yoga, obviously. She lives in Southern California with her husband and Gris, the true love of her life.
Trista Monroe was born in the world of bikers. Her father was the pres of the MC Fallen Idols and she was an only child. At age 16 she decided he wanted to become one of the prospects not an old lady. She proves herself as a bad ass to the MC and gets in. She meets Blaze Taylor at a bar and she had one HOT amazing night with him. The next day she finds out he is going to become a prospect for her club. She was not happy at all but she had to deal with it.
Her club builds and sells cars. They found out that some parts were stolen and couples of shipments were not delivered. Their goal on this quick story is to get to the bottom of who is behind the theft. However, it was also about her and Blaze.
They find out another club is doing these and they confronted them, during the confrontation Trista almost gets killed but Blaze was there to protect her. She ends up hooking up with him once again to thank him and that was the end of it….Say what?!! lol
I feel like this book has more potential. It was a quick read and really steamy but I need more. I think there are two more books coming and I just hope this story continues with both of these characters because I really enjoyed them both.

Trista Monroe is a biker brat. Born into the life, living by it's rules, she has fought long and hard to become the first female member of the Fallen Idols MC. With her father at the gavel, it isn't always easy, being not only the Prez's daughter, but being the only female member. Trista is tougher than nails and her loyalty and dedication to the club is hands down, indescribable.
Looking for a night out, Trista walks in a bar, looking deadlier than sin. A night out gains her one amazing night with a drop dead gorgeous, muscled and tatted hunk.
The next day, sated and happy as can be, Trista heads to the club. Seeing some new prospects, looks promising, but seeing Blaze Taylor, becomes disturbing. Because not only does she not want him to feel he can use her to get ahead in the club, but also, because, he is a past member's son. Truths unknown to her, Trista believes that Blaze and his family betrayed the club. With lust coursing those her body, but the hatred within her heart wins over, for his family's betrayal, Trista makes sure her opinions are heard at Church, against Blaze prospecting.
At the story progresses we get some suspense into the MC's illegal dealings, and as situations arise and products go missing, rivals gangs are brought into the mix. Trouble starts to stir up, alliances are threatened and enemies are confronted.
An interesting read, with a female MC member. Uniquely different, intriguing enough to keep me waiting for the other books. Suspenseful and mysteriously alluding to deeper threats that may bring the past ah -knocking.
*ARC provided by Between the Sheets Promotions on behalf of the author for an honest review* Thanks!!
I am ALL kinds of pissed off about this book at the moment to write a professional review so ya'll are just gonna have to wait!
OK, here goes .... The good, The bad and The ugly ... I'm gonna start with the good because the bad and ugly are one in the same. If the bad and the ugly didn't exists, Savannah Rylan would get FIVE ~ HOT INTRIGUING SEXY ~ STARS from this reader. And let me tell you why. When I read the blurb to this story, I was intrigued because not only do we get a female MC member, but she has been part of the world her entire life. She's a lifer. It's in here genes. It's in her blood. I knew the moment I read that she wore the cut and was not an old lady that the story would be interesting, at the very least. And it IS and SO much more! #TRUST I've read a lot of MC stories this past year (they seem to be trending now) and I have never read of such a unique 'twist'. So, for those of you out there who really love to read MC stories, this is one NOT to miss! So the premise of this short story goes like this ... Trista Monroe is out to get laid. She needs a good fuck. No relationship. No dating. Just good old fashion wham bam thank you mam (or sir in this case)! So she goes out to get it. And get it she does :) Cue, Blaze Taylor. But Blaze doesn't turn out to be just a good lay ... there are surprises in store for Trista about Blaze. And there are also interesting surprises in regards to Trisha for us readers. Some of them will be predictable, but others will leave you thinking ... wait, what? And I am a HUGE fan of the wait, what? in serial stories! And Savannah Rylan did an excellent job throwing it out there and leaving me with my head cocked to the side going, hmmmmm! There's obviously a lot more detail I can give you on Trista and Blaze, but I'm not. Why? Because then why would you buy the book?! But you should ... because it IS hot, sexy and intriguing! Moving forward .... let's talk about the end for a minute. It's not what this reader would consider a cliffhanger you need to be warned about. And it's a good ending. It made perfect sense for where this reader thinks this serial/series is going. At the point this story does end, what is happening, you already know is going to happen. The only thing you don't know is the where, what, when of it all. It shouldn't be a surprise if you paid attention to the story. Now, was I surprised at the 'when'? Hell yes! LOL I had just done a pantie change (lol) and then WHAM, to be continued .... damn! (lol) OK, two more things that rocked this story out of the park. I am usually not a fan of stories that are told mostly from inside the head of the main lead. I'm not sure how to explain it except to say that normally, I like books that are more 'interactive' than 'narrative'. Hopefully those two terms make sense to ya'll. If they aren't interactive, or mostly, then I tend to get bored and skim. I know ... bad ... but its just a thing with me. But HEY, good news, Savannah Rylan had me the WHOLE time. I read every word. THIS is important for a couple reasons. One, she kept someone who normally gets bored with this type of story telling hooked on every word. And two, you NEED to read every word and pay attention to what you're reading. Why? Because of the last reason this booked rocked. THIS serial/series, it isn't about any given person associated with the Fallen Idols Motorcycle Club. The individual stories may have a focus on a member, but the REAL story Savannah Rylan is telling you is about the Fallen Idols itself. THIS is a story about the club. But you can't tell a story about an MC club without telling a story about its members. SO, am I surprised to see that the next in the serial is a focus on someone other than Trista and Blaze? Not in the least. Because I paid attention :) This is going to be good. It's different. I don't really see a defined HEA type of situation from reading the style of Forbidden: Trista and Blaze, but I do see a debut author who has skills is story-telling, pantie-melting scenes and overall execution of a damn good short story. They're hard to pull off, so kudos to her! HUGE kudos!
And now future readers, I must mention The Bad ... The Ugly. I wish I didn't have to, but as a responsible reader, I think it only fair that I mention this because the author should be made aware of it. I'm hoping its just a freak accident type thing on her part .....
So maybe I'm the only one that sees these things, I don't know. But they're there. And they shouldn't be. And maybe I'm making a big deal out of nothing. But its how I feel. It is absolutely NO reflection on Savannah Rylan's writing skills and/or the greatness I think this series can be! She's a debut author with a lot of potential. I'll be waiting for the next in the series just like everyone else. I'll just be hoping the above mentioned problem is somehow handled.

I received this ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Considering this is the first in a series and was rather short I think it serves as a set up for the following books. I was immediately pleased within the first couple of pages. We meet Trista, a bad ass biker bitch who goes to a bar with the express purpose of hooking up with someone just for the night. A girl has needs and she isn't afraid to go after getting hers fulfilled! She takes home a sexy stranger whose name is Blaze. My mouth watered at the description of him- "tall, thicker built guy...a dark blonde faux hawk, and bulging muscles...tatted arms...deep voice..." YUM! She tells him her name is Kelly in order to avoid her identity as a member of the Fallen Idols MC discovered. She's the ONLY female member and that fact scares off some men. Blaze is gone when she awakes in the morning...but of course that's not the last time she sees him. She discovers that he's a new prospect for the Fallen Idols. Her secret identity is blown all to hell, and since he's a prospect he is considered off limits. She has her reasons for questioning his loyalty to the club but he proves himself worthy of her trust. The book ends with a war between a rival gang on the horizon and the whole club being in danger from several sources: there's a rat in the club, the feds are watching their businesses and war has begun with the Las Almas MC. One of my favorite things about this book was the gender roles. Although Trista is the only woman in her MC, she is treated just like a 'brother' by the rest of the men. She has a role as treasurer for the club, she supervises businesses they run and has equal say in all club doings. When trouble comes knocking she is right there, gun in hand standing next to her MC family. She doesn't need to be protected or handled with care. She's a strong and respected woman, which was very nice to read about. I'm looking forward to seeing more action resulting from the declaration of war and the development of the relationship between Blaze and Trista as the series moves forward.
A very short read that's not for the feint of heart.
It was easy for me to read purely because I loved the fact that the heroine was one badass chick.I love a biker book but I loved the fact that the biker in this book was a woman. Trista represents females everywhere.
When this book got to a hot and steamy scene - it got really hot and steamy and Blaze sounds like an awesome bed buddy :)
I loved the forbidden element to it - what with Trista being the MC President's daughter. You can imagine the trouble there.
It was amazing how the author managed to fit in the hot scenes with all the action scenes, without it feeling too rushed. Again I loved that.
All in all it's a short and fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed. :)
*ARC generously provided via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review*
Although this is a short read I really enjoyed it. It's part one of a series.
Trista is a tough cookie. Brought up with a biker the only thing she wanted to do is be a biker. She succeeds but puts that in jeopardy when she meets Blaze.
Really great quick read. Looking forward to reading more of this series.
Forbidden is a great prequel of what is to come in this series.
It is very short, fast and straight to the point.
It's told from Trista's POV and I love that she is a tough woman in a world dominated by men - a motorcycle club.
Things start off fast and definitely don't slow down. You get some background pieces on the characters and what is about to go down through this series.
I really like Savannah's quick paced writing and didn't dwindle too much on certain things. You got just the right amount of information to leave you hanging and wanting to know what is going to happen.
I like this MC story is told from a female's perspective within the actual MC - not just from the outside as a wife or a club whore.
I am very excited to read what Savannah has in store for us with this series.
Here we meet Trista and Blaze for the first time. I know in books like these you're supposed to have the hots for the big bad, super-duper, alpha male but I have to say I developed quite a crush on Trista. She is bad to the bone and she knows it. I really liked reading about a women in the role of one of the 'brothers' of a club instead of just the President's hot daughter or some old lady that is being lusted after. The fact that she demanded to be treated just like one of the guys and got right there in the trenches along with them when it came time to fight really impressed me.
Don't get me wrong, though. Blaze is hot, hot, hot, smoking hot! Seriously. He's hot. And Trista takes him home for a steamy one-night stand, not knowing that he is the club's newest prospect. Once she realizes he's a prospect and off limits, Trista isn't sure if she can trust him as part of the club. But I think he proves his loyalty to her and the club by the end of the book.
This is a quick read that sets you up for the next books. It can be read as a stand-alone but...why would you do that?
**received these books via Mark My Words Review Team in exchange for an honest review. Any thoughts and opinions are my own.**
A woman who is a club member rather than a club member's old lady? Yep, that's the deal & Trista just wants to be treated like the rest of the guys. That is until Blaze comes along. They meet the night before in a bar & hook up, only to find out the next day that he's now a prospect of the MC she's a member of.
The gist of the story is that the Fallen Idols are in the business of hot cars & they are discovering that some of their supply has gone missing. No one is sure who's doing it & how so the club aims to find out. There's no limit to how far they will go to do so and Trista & Blaze are right in the mix. I look forward to future editions to see where the story goes.
This is a pretty short read that provides the framework for what could be a pretty good story once all is said & done. It's labeled as Erotica however it's pretty light on that & focused more on the storyline.

Forbidden by Savannah Rylan is an erotic romance MC novella serial. This novella is a very quick read and leaves you with a cliff hanger. It is a very well written novella and it appears that this going to be a very hot series.
Forbidden is about Trista Monroe, a female member of the Fallen Idols Motorcycle Club, and Blaze Taylor, a new prospect of the same club. The chemistry between Trista and Blaze is off the charts. The few erotic scenes in this novella were smoking. I can’t wait to see where the storyline and character development goes in subsequent novellas. This first installment is setting us up for quite a ride.

"Freedom and family. The two things the open road gave me."
Trista was born into the Fallen Idols MC and had made history, becoming the first and only woman in the club. Serving her time as a prospect she has earned her cut, paying in blood. Her father is the President and is an original member. With a complicated history their rivals seem to be encroaching on their turf and that means war.
A sexy stranger in a bar, one night of fun leaves Trista wanting some more of the action. Her mysterious bed partner turns out to be the new prospect, Blaze. Their attraction is going against all the rules but can they keep their hands off one another?
Deals gone wrong, truces broken, feds and a gun fight this short snappy read has a lot going on. As part of a series this really is just a first bite at the cherry to hook readers in.
I received an ARC from this author in exchange for an honest review.
Savannah has veered on a different path to normal MC books. The protagonist being a female MC member. I like this idea for the simple fact she's a hard ass female and not a snivelling wreck that some lead females play into the protagonist role. I mean I believe women are the stronger sex. We bleed for a week without dying and can bury a seven inch bone faster than any dog. So why must all female characters be 'protected' and not the protectee? If that is a word :)
The novella given left us with much to be curious about. The relationship between her and blaze, is there a rat?, what happens to Axel? does this mean War?
We were given just enough information to give us a deep rooted NEED to have to read the next book.
Can't wait to read more on this couple and see how the forbidden plays out!!!!
ARC kinly provided in exchange for an honest review
Before you start this book, please be aware it is a series made up of small parts, this one being 50 pages and ending with a cliffhanger. I don't know how many books will be part of this series neither do I know when they will be released.
This book was not for me. Due to the fact this part was very short, it felt a bit rushed and you didn't really get to know the characters. What we were told of Tristy, I wasn't a fan of. She actually pissed me off a bit being so prejudiced regarding why Blaze didn't grow up in the club.
I won't be reading the rest of this series, however, I will say that it is AWESOME with a heroine being a full member and not just an old lady!
*** I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review ***
Forbidden is the first novel in the Fallen Idols series. This book is the start to a new MC series. I really enjoyed reading Forbidden it was a quick fast read that introduced the members of the Fallen Idols. Trista is a female patched member of the Fallen Idols and only female ever to join the MC. Krista is tough and sassy with an attitude and cares deeply for her MC family she doesn't trust outsiders. Blaze returns home back to the MC where his dad was a member of and was murdered.
I really enjoyed Forbidden this is a great start to a new series. Looking forward to reading the second one of the series.
Short, sassy, and a bit sexy. This is a novella, not a novel, so if you're looking for character development and plot development, there's very little here. Having said all of that, Savannah Rylan created an interesting premise and executed it well for how short the story is. I liked how quickly the lust interests found one another and how they ended up meeting again unexpectedly. All in all, the read was interesting so it earned a solid 3.5 stars from me. I look forward to a more lengthy piece by Rylan.
This was a quick read being it is a serial novella. It contains a hot biker chick and her fellow Fallen Idol members who are dealing with a rival gang and a possible rat in their own organization. Also contains a seriously steamy encounter. It definitely leaves you wanting for more. Can't wait to see what's next.
If you're going to take the time to write something make more than a couple pages. I mean this is ridiculous yes it had a good story line going but it was over before it began. I'm tired authors writing and calling it a book...call it a comic book
Great start to a very promising series. I love the idea of a badass female that fully patched in. And Trista and Blaze can only be described as HOT ! I can't wait to read the rest of the series !!

Review: This novella was not for me. It felt rushed and it didn't really engage me. I loved the idea of the FMC being an officer of the club and the MMC being a prospect---this was new to me. However, the way it was written didn't vibe with me.

I've recently come across quite a few short 'starter' books for series - some serve as an introduction and an invitation to the books ahead, other have adopted the odd approach of writing a book then splitting it in several, or many, pieces and issuing each one as a 'book'. This is the latter, it came in at 40 pages on my tablet. The story is pretty basic, Trista is the only full female member of the Fallen Idols MC. Blaze is a new prospect, problem is they had hot, wild, steamy sex the night before (fair dues to him, he really put his back into it!) And, someone is stealing from the MC, and so on and so forth. It's not new, it's not particularly good and it certainly didn't grab my attention enough to move on to 'Axel and Paige' the second 'book' in the series.
Not such a new story after all. Girl meets boy in a bar hiding her true identity. Boy meets girl at a bar just looking for a good fuck. The two have a sweet evening together and then come to find out that the boy wants in to the MC club the girl is the heir too and belongs to as well. Things go south pretty fast after the initial encounter at the club and truths come out that weren't expected. All in all the sex is not a whole part of the story as much as the things that are going down wth the club itself.
Title: Forbidden Author: Savannah Rylan Genre: Erotic Age: Adult Part of a Series?: Yes (Forbidden Idols #1)
*I received an electronic copy of this book in return for an honest review.
Summary: Forbidden tells the story of Trista Monroe and Blaze Taylor. Trista is the only female member of the Fallen Idols Motorcycle Club and the daughter of founding member and current president. Blaze is the son of one of the other founding members. When Blaze's father was killed, his family moved away. Trista views him as a traitor; Blaze has returned to reconnect with who his father was and becomes a prospect of the club. Sexual sparks and emotional sparks fly as Trista and Blaze get to know each other, all while trying to keep their growing relationship a secret from the other members and, especially, Trista's father.
Elsewhere in their lives, the Forbidden Idols Motorcycle club discovers that their business and their territory are under siege--but by who? Theories abound, choices are made, and, by the end of the book, a war is brewing. What will happen to the motorcycle club? What will happen with Trista and Blaze? Will their love survive? Will they?
Overall Impressions: This was fast-paced erotic romance. After having read two of Ms. Rylan's books so far, I can see that she definitely has a voice and style as an author, and it is easy and enjoyable to read. There are a few things I wish were more developed or a little different, but is a worthy read for anyone who enjoys this genre.
The Nitty Gritty: Right from page one, you know that this book is erotic romance. Trista is a strong, self-assured woman who knows what she wants and doesn't hesitate to go about making it hers. Men--especially one night stands--are no exception. That said, however, it is important to note that this is not a book that is one sex scene after another. Although there are lust is prevalent in every scene that includes both Trista and Blaze--and plenty even when it is just one of them--there is only one other sex scene in the whole book.
This leaves plenty of space for character and plot development, and Ms. Rylan takes advantage of this. Trista, Blaze, and several of the side characters are obviously fully thought out, individual, and unique from the other characters. The one weakness I noticed here was that they were not as multi-dimensional as I would like them to be; what you saw at first "meeting" them was pretty much all there was to them. Now, it isn't exactly necessary when you are focused so much on one aspect of life (physical attraction), but the richer the character, the richer the connection I feel to them. I am also getting the feeling that Trista and Blaze will become more than just lovers to each other, and for me to believe in them developing love and companionship--a relationship that goes beyond sex, in other words--I need to know that they are more than just sex and motorcycles.
As for the plot, I was very pleased with the mystery introduced--where did their shipment of goods go?--and the pacing of it over all. It did, however, feel a little on the cliched side for me: a motorcycle club that ends up in a life-or-death war with another motorcycle club seems like the only story I have ever seen, in book or film. I don't know if this is simply what is expected when a reader purchases this type of book (a motorcycle club book). I will, however, reserve final judgement on this matter until I have read at least one more of these books. It is possible that what looks like cliche will actually be twisted in some manner once I am deeper into the series. This book is, after all, over almost as soon as the plot really starts to get going.
You Will Like This If...:
You like erotic fiction–but don’t need it to be one sex scene after another You like contemporary romances You like motorcycle club fiction You like action and don't mind some violence (including death). It isn't graphic in this book, but it is present.
My Rating: 4 Stars I considered giving this book a three star rating due to the cliched feel of the plot, but I decided that when it came down to it, I still enjoyed the book, read it in pretty much one sitting, and found several positive things to talk about. All of which made me feel comfortable with a four star rating in the end.
Trista Monroe is a motorcycle chick, the Fallen Idols MC is her family, and nothing is more important to her than family. Since she is the only female member and the president’s daughter, it hasn’t always been easy, but she has proven her worth repeatedly. She’s nobody’s old lady and she doesn’t have plans to ever be one. Sex has always been a way to blow off steam, scratch and itch. So why does she find herself wanting more from a one night stand.
Blaze Taylor was born into the Fallen Idol’s MC but he barely remembers the club, the brother’s that his old man died to protect. He wants to honor his father’s memory so against his mother’s wishes, he decides to prospect, but it will be a hard road for Blaze to prove his loyalty. Especially to the feisty MC President’s daughter, he wants her badly and he knows she wants him too but she’s off limits. Is this is love or lust, is either worth dying for only time will tell.
This is the first installment of the Fallen Idol’s MC series and my first read from author Savannah Rylan. I found this book to be a decent start to an MC story. It was short, so not much time given to complete character development, but enough to have me intrigued and wanting more. I thought the female biker chick was a refreshing change from the usual damsels in distress that appear in most MC books. Trista is sexy, feisty and can hold her own against any man I loved her character. Blaze is a bit of a mystery to me and to Trista it seems. They have a very hot and heavy one-night stand; Blaze knows his way around the bedroom. They don’t know each other’s identities so there ends up being lots of sexual tension for these two as the story progresses. The background story consists of trouble for the club someone from within might be a traitor stealing from the club. This made for exciting story that kept my attention and had me wondering where the author will take the story next. Good start to a promising story, looking forward to the next installments.

Forbidden has a twist. Trista Monroe is a member of the Fallen Idols Motorcycle Club. At one time she was a prospect like all the other members. Her father is the President of the MC but she is not treated any differently. She has worked hard to be a member. She can handle a gun like anyone else. To her the MC is her family.
Blaze Taylor has come back to town to join the MC as their new prospect. His father was one of the original founders. When he died, Blaze's family moved away. His father died protecting the MC and Blaze will now vow to do the same.
The first time Blaze meets Trista they had one night of passion which neither could forget but when they realize they are part of the same club, their relationship is forbidden.
~
This is a short novella. Trista behaves like a true MC member. She's not scared to protect what is hers. She can ride and can shoot like the next guy. I like that she is loyal to the club. She has great camaraderie with the other members too. I like Blaze so far but I want to know more about him. I know there is a mystery surrounding his father's death. We're still missing details. When Trista and Blaze met you could feel their passion. There was a sense of rightness. I don't think their relationship will be a secret for too long.
Forbidden is a erotic serial with an interesting mix of personal and MC life for two second generation members. Trista is the current president-Rogue's daughter and the only patched in female ever. While Trista demands respect she gives as good as she gets when it comes to her fellow one percenters. Trista makes no apologies for how she chooses to live her life and that includes who she shares her bed with because up until now it was only ever an itch that needed to be scratched. While out looking for a hook up Trista meets a man different from all the rest and actually asks him to stay the night which leads to the best sex of her life. Now it's morning the man is gone and Trista is kicking herself for not getting his number, right up until the point she goes to the club to meet the new prospect. Blaze Taylor's father was a founding member of the Fallen Idols MC and died in a shoot out with a rival gang. Up until his father died Blaze and his sister were raised in Brooks Landing but they had to leave town with their mother to stay safe. Regardless of what anyone thinks the Forbidden Idols MC is his legacy and he is back to prove he was always going to be a part of if. What Blaze didn't expect was Rogue's daughter to grow up quite so beautiful. Great start to danger/drama filled erotic serial and I can't wait to see what's coming next.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley.
Trista Monroe is the only female to wear a patch in the Fallen Idols Motorcycle Club. But she had to earn it. She's the type of female that can take care of herself and don't need a man in her life. She goes to the local bar looking for some action but she might have gotten more than she asked for with this guy, Blaze, that she picks up at the bar. Little does she know that this one night stand is going to permanent in her life from now on.
Blaze Taylor doesn't quiet remember the club life that he was born into. All he knows/remembers is that his father died protecting this club. Now he wants to join the same club but will the accept him back into the life. Will he be able not to break one of the rules the president has given him? That rule is not is not to touch his daughter. But little does he know that he broke that rule the night before. Will Blaze be able to keep his hand off of Trista or will they both go up in flames?
I really liked this book. I could not put this book down. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I can't wait to see what else Savannah has up her sleeve. I recommend this book to others to read.
