I received a copy of this book through BookSirens. What follows is my opinion.
This book is autobiographical in nature with the author sharing stories of transcendental experiences throughout his life. These experiences seem to have been plentiful and varied. I was drawn to this book because I've had my own experiences, although not nearly as many, and I was hoping to gain insight into how or why these things happen.
This book is not a step-by-step guide. It doesn't give the reader a specific formula, but what it does do is offer tips into how they might connect to their own intuition. The author provides several meditation-like exercises where readers are invited to sit and connect with their essence through their feelings. There's a focus on embracing empathy, compassion, and love.
The author talks about the importance of journaling as a tool to connect with one's higher self. He offers some great examples of why it's important recognize when fear or anger is making our decisions for us. He encourages readers to connect with their feelings, and to explore what those feelings might be trying to tell them.
For someone who's never experienced the supernatural in any form, this book might be hard to accept. I found myself continually wondering how the author was able to have so many of these experiences, especially of such a varied nature. He talked about astral travel, hearing the voice of his higher self, past-life memories, and more. What fascinated me the most was his enviable ability to control these experiences.
