I live in Devon. I'd like to say that I write by the sea, but this is Britain and its usually much too chilly. Plus, I prefer to be nearer to my kettle and the tea bags. I don't have any pets, only a son to keep fed and watered. I spend too much time in my imaginary worlds to keep a goldfish alive.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy long walks along the beach or across the moors, and I have been known to ride on the back of a motorcycle on occasion.
I'm pretty new to this whole writing thing, and still feel a little too embarrassed to call myself a writer. Luckily my muse doesn't care what I call myself and insists I write every day.
I don't write romance, but I do write love stories. I don't obey the rules, because I don't know what they are, and I don't guarantee a happy ending – just an ending.

photo Legacy RIGHT name for Twitter and GR_zps792lykdv.gif

When this book went live last Friday, TeriLyn and myself were thrilled for two reasons: 1. we JUST finished the first two books in the series and fell in love with the characters and 2. it's a new book from an author of Freak Circle Press so you KNOW you are in for a treat.

After having read the blurb and the dedication page though, we knew we were in for a very emotional journey but, that's Freaks' M.O. and one of the reasons we love their work so much.

I finished this book couple of days ago and, every time I think about it, while trying to formulate a sentence to describe how much I loved this epic tale of friendship, family and love, I start crying (and I am currently on the road with my son's hockey team so crying on a bus full of teenagers is not exactly 'cool') so I will have to wait till I get home to write a full review.

I will say this though - this is a MUST READ series and, to get the full impact of the story, I recommend you read all three books back to back.

Thank you, Sarah Osborne, for this amazing ride!!

5+++ "A man was nothing without a family." Stars

This book is PERFECTION. I barely slept thinking about everything I got from this book. I cried so hard at the end. Sarah Osborne holds nothing back in Legacy. Riding a spectrum of emotions, loving these characters and their stories - my brain and heart need a break after this one. I keep thinking about Tiny, Samson, Beth, Emma and the kids as if they're a part of my life. Thanks to Sarah Osborne and her brilliant story telling they were a part of my life for a while and will be again as I plan to re-read this series for certain.

These two exceptional men from The Freaks MC, the two women in which they love and their families will stay in my heart forever.

If you're into MC Romance I suggest you start this series right away. I can't say too much as this story goes places I never imagined. You can't begin to know where Sarah Osborne takes you. And not knowing made it so much better. I had ideas in my head of how it would end, well let me tell you - it didn't end that way. Legacy pushes emotional boundaries to the edge. It pains the reader and gives them joy. I was glued to my couch yesterday all day completely invested in this book.

Legacy demonstrates the epitome of EPIC LOVE, loyalty, devotion, friendship, sacrifice, forgiveness, pain, acceptance, and understanding. Simple concepts believed courageously by two men who redefine love in their own ways. Two men who never knew the power of family until this time in their lives. And the women, children, and MC brotherhood that shape them. Simply amazing.

Thank you, Sarah Osborne - for an adventure in reading I'll never forget and for putting my heart through ringer only to bring it back to life. EPIC MC ROMANCE.

More to come when/if I can formulate better thoughts.

BR with my FREAK-y soul mate, Irene.

**** MORE THAN FIVE STARS****

"A man is nothing without his family."

If I had known about the existence of Motorcycle Clubs previous to me marrying my husband I would have not been a housewife today. I would have spend my days chasing after a hot biker dude, trying to get into the back of his motorcycle and eventually becoming an old lady. That's how big my obsession and fascination with the MC world is. So, If you are like me and love this type of reads, then you need to pick up this trilogy by Sarah Osborne; she created a world and characters that are intense and passionate about family, the open roads and being members of the Freak MC family.

There's not much I want to share about what this book is about, because I don't want to take away from the reader's experience. These stories are all about the feelings and the fact that you never know what you're going to get. They are totally dangerous and unpredictable tales that need to be enjoyed with a bottle of tequila, maybe chocolate or cigarettes; something that will help you cope with the intensity and the shift of emotions that will stirred up inside you.

So I will only say that this third and last book is about both Tiny and Samson's struggles with balancing being family men and members of their MC club. The nature of a Freak is that the club always comes first, but what about the wives and children that stay behind? And how can they feel loved and be protected from the choices this outlaws are constantly being forced to make?

"Whoever said that love conquers all had obviously never been an old lady."

This wasn't an easy read for me, in fact, even though I've had it on my kindle since they day of it's released a few months back, I hadn't feel ready it to read it until recently, because I couldn't bring myself to say goodbye yet, but also because I knew Sarah Osborne has a raw and bold writing style and isn't afraid to play with the reader's emotions. She didn't disappoint with this last book, she gave me exactly what I was craving with this explosive conclusion to a story that I will carry in my heart forever.

First let me say I hate, hate for this series to end. I highly recommend you read books 1 & 2 in this series before reading Legacy. I fell in love with the major characters Tiny and Deke in those first books. Now after reading Legacy, I don’t know if I can write a full review without crying. This book broke my heart and made me cry. The author did an excellent job giving us detail and background about the two couples Tiny/Beth and Deke/Emma. She paints a beautiful picture of how much these hard men loved their children. She brings out for viewing all of Beth’s and Emma’s deep seated insecurities and how it affected their lives as well as the lives of the men who loved them. We see Emma grow and flourish even though really, really bad things happen that could have completely broken both her and Deke. There’s no question about Deke’s love for Emma even through the hard times. This is an epic story of true love and the sacrifices people make to stay together. Deke and Tiny were strong men who lived by the standards of loyalty, honesty and love. The author truly brings the story full circle as she says in her prologue. I won’t forget this series anytime soon and while I would have liked a happier ending, the author is to be commended for wringing all of these emotions from me. I hope that this author will be giving us more books that pull me into the characters and the story like this one does.

Well done. This series was very well done overall! It didn't provide a moment of boredom. I never felt as though I had read this work else where. This author really did a fantasitc job of character development. She was able to emmerse you in this world. It was hard to judge them, and easy to see the emotions behind the actions. This entire series was one turn after another, but it never felt forced to me. Its been a while since a series caught my full attention as this one has!

Its taken me a week to come back and write this review because I was so gutted by this story. For me, I should have stopped at book two, as I was perfectly content with the lives of Joe, Beth, Emma and Deke as they were (I am a to-the-core-HEA girl). This book ripped my heart apart and did not put it back together. I cried (wept uncontrollably) during so many parts. But, the last paragraph of the epilogue had me crying like a baby. Every time I think about it I cry. I'm tearing up right now just writing about it! I am so impressed with this series and Ms Osborne's writing (but damn, woman, next time not so realistic please...I read to escape reality LOL).

5 Beautiful Stars

I really don't know how to describe this story but it does played a lot with your emotions. It's beautifully written about the two main heros and what sacrifices are made to keep their love ones safe. I want to say it was selfish but I guess he did it to save Beth. The Epilogue made me cried a lot and it so surreal. Read it.

I don't want to give this book away with any spoilers, sorry.

This series was a true WOW for me and Legacy is magnificent. Book 1 developed the story of Joe and Beth while Book 2 was centered around Sampson and Emma, but always, their lives and fates were so entwined and their stories were skillfully layered and set forth for us. Book 3, Legacy, brought it all to a crescendo, with some real omg moments and events that turn this story into an emotional roller coaster ride. This is a series I plan to re read at some point because it's that good.
Clearly, I reccommend this book highly, but you must read this series in order as its a story taking place over a spance of time and events and relationships evolve.

Loved it!
A wonderful story about interesting characters, their tough ties and the abundance of love that surrounded them.
Have the kleenex ready for the epilogue

Legacy spans over three generations, encompassing all the highs and lows life dishes up in between. It had been a while since I last read Sanctuary, the previous book in The Freaks MC series and it took a little while for the familiarity of the characters to return to me. Fortunately, this story can be read as a stand-alone, so it wasn't a problem.

What made this story stand out was the heroines didn’t embrace club life. I found this to be an interesting angle. Usually, it's the depiction of club life that enhances an MC / Biker story. These ladies were not without fear or doubt, but they preferred to keep their lives separate from the club, finding support in each other. This, in turn, highlighted the struggle the men had determining what was important to them in life. Many of their choices stretched their heart and sense of loyalty. As a consequence, this created tension within their homes and the club.

The journeys of the two main couples occurred naturally and never came across as convenient or orchestrated. The story flowed effortlessly, and I barely noticed as it changed to focus on generations or the years that had passed in between. The title Legacy proved apt with the appreciation of their solidly built family continuing to grow as the story progressed.

Make sure you have Kleenex ready for the epilogue! My eyes began to mist up big time when the reminiscing commenced, and my tears surprised the heck out of me. Covering as many years as the book did, there was the inevitable losses and heartache of life, but it was beautifully balanced with the welcoming of the next generation of children. Legacy is a wonderful story about interesting characters, their strong ties and the abundance of love which surrounded them.

I had to stew on this book ALLLLLL weekend before I could do my review! If I hadn't it would have been full of "OMG" and "SO GOOD!" ha! I wanted to be able to say something a little more profound=)

This was one of those series that just came out of nowhere for me. Those are the best, you have no build up and no unrealistic expectations! I didn't even read the synopsis, I only knew from the title that is was an MC book. These days an MC book can go in just about any direction! This is one that you will get totally invested in, you won't want to put it down. You get down to the heart of each character. You cry when they cry. It is just something so special when that happens! There is dark and gritty, but that isn't the main focus. The is a story about a family, a big MC family that has troubles and more troubles. They also have love, the kind of love that doesn't fade...ever...no matter what. That love is tested over and over, in the end it just makes it that much stronger.

I was so impressed by this series and hope that everyone listens to me and reads it!!=)

What a finale!
I smiled.
Laughed......
Bawled my eyes out at the end and what a fitting end it was.....and yet a new beginning.

The writing for this series: impeckable.
The storyline: Like no other and definitely unique.

So much angst. So much happiness. So much sadness........and yet the characters triumph over the tragedies. The life of two men who are dedicated MC members and the women they love. Dedication to the MC is number one. Men of honor and men who give that honor to every facet of their lives; including their family.

This is a wonderful trilogy and one I'll read again. It's that compelling. Thank you Dear Authoress for sharing your creative renderings with us greedy readers. This story is just about at the top of my favorites list and one I'd recommend without a second thought.

I was blown away by this trilogy, I loved it. It was gritty, dark and sad and disturbing. I both loved and hated Tiny and Samson. Felt sorry for both Beth and Emma. I loved Samson and Emma as a couple and their love for each other. Tiny and Beth confused me a little, I think he loved Beth ,but was unable to show or tell her the way Samson could with Emma. I both dreaded and looked forward to reading this book, knowing what happened in the first two books, I knew something bad was coming, .....and it did, I shed a few tears for them all. Great book

If you are reading my opinion I just want you to know that I do really think you have to read this book. I never write my opinion about a book but this time I feel the need to say THANK YOU to the writer because this is a painful marvelous great end for a trilogy. And the last scene... I couldn't stop crying

WOW, this trilogy just blew me away and kept getting better and better.

I loved how we got to follow Tiny and Samson's lives...and even their kids lives.

Very unexpected plot twist, which made me cry.

I used to love Beth, not so much anymore.

What a rollercoaster, I have to catch my breath.

This series isn't like any biker series I've read to date. Before this, I think that Susan Fanetti's 'Signal Bend' was the my favorite, but this was really excellent, and I felt like it was pretty realistic.

It's heavy on many levels. It's not fan-girl stuff.

After reading 'Legacy' I feel emotionally wiped out.

I think that older readers might just appreciate this particular book more than younger ones, because with age you lose the people in your life that were your parents and peers/siblings/friends. Your spouse. Sometimes, you are the last one standing... certainly not what you ever expected would happen to you or gave much in-depth thought to. Seriously, try to imagine it. I thought that the author did an excellent job with that because even though you have kids and grandkids around, they aren't your spouse or peer group and don't really 'get' you. It's another one of the things in life you can't really comprehend until you are there, but she got it pretty close.

Legacy is the third and last installment in The Freaks MC Series.

Wow...

I loved all three Books in this Series, A Family Man beeing the first and completely different than any other Books, with a long journey and many difficulties, Sanctuary beeing the second and so vibrant and also with a long and difficult journey but Legacy is definately my favourite.
There were many emotions i felt while reading Legacy and rolling around the floor laughing or shedding many tears were just some of the outcomes for me.
I loved, hated and just felt for all the Characters.
These Books, but Legacy especially, will definately stay with me.

I absotluely recommend reading all three Books back to back.

After Blind Obsession this was the book that I cried most. It was sad from the beginning till the end.

I suffered together with the characters but i still loved it. Tiny, Samson, Emma and Beth (in my belief she suffered the most) will be forever in my heart.

It took me long time to finally read this book because I just knew something was going to happen and I wasn't going to like it!! Well it happened, I didn't like what happen but in typical Sarah Osborne fashion I understood and accept what happen! LOL This is one of my favorite series ever across any genre. My one complaint in this book was Beth, I cant say much but I just didn't understand why she didn't believe Joe/Tiny loved her or her actions and feeling toward the Freaks. If you haven't read this series, please do this characters are some of the best I ever read.

This one is too hard to review. You know, one those books that are written so so poignantly, so true to life, but just too close to the bone. It's not how I wanted all of these characters to end up, but well....circle of life right?
The authors of FCP are like that (at least the ones I've read). Madeline Sheehan and Claire Riley's Beneath Blood and Bone made me feel this way too. (Different reason, but just really uneasy, where I really had to be honest with myself. I don't like being honest with myself, hence the uneasy feeling, lol)
If you've read the other two in this trilogy and you like the way it ended (and if, like me, you dwell, worry and fuss with thoughts about how things went down) you might consider stopping after book two. But my feelings are kinda raw right now and in a few weeks I'll probably be glad I read it. Just beware and know your tolerance.
That last sentence just gets me every time I think about it. Epic.

Maravilhosamente escrita.
---------------

I just finished reading with tears rolling over my face. Very beautiful! Touching scenes and the ending was beautiful! I loved the story and of course I was shocked with some events. But it was all so well written that just captivating me and the story got me hooked. I highly recommend the entire series. Wonderfully written.

So Real

Reading this series has been one of the best decisions I've made. I have enjoyed every book and Legacy has blown me away. This book seemed so realistic, with real people and real life problems. No cheesy outlandish problem solving. Every issue was handled the way that real life goes, good or bad. Real life throws things at you rather you are ready for it or not and you can't go back and change the decision you made at that time because you've already set off the chain of events. Legacy is a perfect example of that.
I smiled, I cried, and then I smiled through my tears....
