You don't want her at the party? Fine, babe she's gone 😂

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can I Join You? — Kyiris Ashley

✨ Tropes / Vibes

- MMF dynamic 🔥
- MM
- FF
- FFM
- MFM
- MMMF
-FFF
- Pegging
- Touch her and divide 🗡️
- Found family energy 🤝
- Fast‑paced plot ⏩
- High spice, high frequency 🌶️🌶️🌶️

📚 Plot (Spoiler‑Free!)
Saniyah is at one of the lowest points of her life — most of her family is gone, she’s grieving, and she’s just lost her job. When she applies for a new position at Blackline Security, she walks straight into the orbit of Crue and Kadeem… two bosses who are not only fine, but dangerously charming in completely different ways.

They’ve been best friends since college, they’re grown, established, and locked in tighter than super glue. As Saniyah settles into her new role, the chemistry between all three of them starts simmering fast. The story moves quickly, the plot has multiple threads, and while the spice absolutely takes center stage, there is a storyline running underneath it all.

💭 My Thoughts
This was another Pride read for me, and whew… I was not prepared for the level of heat in this book. The spice is front and center, and when I say they get to it? I mean multiple times, across multiple chapters, with no hesitation. If you want a book that does not hold back, this one delivers.

I really appreciated how the author handled Saniyah’s situation she’s dealing with real loss, real loneliness, and real instability. Watching her find people who actually show up for her felt earned.

And Crue and Kadeem? I loved their relationship. These two have been besties forever, they trust each other completely, and they basically do everything together. Their bond feels lived‑in and unshakeable, and that foundation makes the whole dynamic with Saniyah feel intentional instead of chaotic.

The pacing is quick, the plot twist was one I saw coming, but I still enjoyed watching it unfold. And the way these two do not play about Saniyah? Loved that for her.

If you’re looking for a high‑heat, high‑chemistry, why‑choose romance with a little plot and a lot of intensity and you don’t mind when the swords cross this is absolutely the book for you. 🔥💗

This was GOOOD!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! The dynamic between Saniyah, Crude & Kadeem was so interesting to see! I loved the way things just came together he with them effortlessly,It wasn’t forced & no one was uncomfortable they all aligned with each other PERFECTLY! There were so many unexpected plot twist & moments that had me clutching my invisible pearls 😭! You could literally feel the chemistry between these 3!! Kadeem & Crude had been at it for a while but the way Saniyah jumped right in & matched their energy you would think she’d been living this lifestyle just as long as them 🤣! My girl came in & then took them boys up another notch!! I loved this book & can’t wait to get into some of this author’s work!! This was my first read by her but definitely won’t be my last!

Sheeeesh!

First and foremost, let’s start by saying I love anything Poly or Why Choose, and babyyyyy, Ms. Ashley did NOT disappoint! 👏🏾🔥 This books is for the reader who doesn’t have an issue with swords ⚔️ crossing!

Not only was the storyline right up my alley because honestly, what’s better than being loved correctly by one man? Getting that same love from TWO! 😮‍💨❤️❤️

Crue and Kadeem were a whole lotta man individually, but whew chile… when Saniyah stepped into the mix? GAME OVER. 🥵🙌🏾 The chemistry was chemistry-ing, the tension was tension-ing, and the vibes were absolutely unmatched.

And can we talk about the spice? Listen… the nasty was NASTY. 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Ms. Ashley didn’t crack the door open—she kicked it clean off the hinges! 😂 Every time I thought things couldn’t get any hotter, she said, “Hold my drink.” 🤣

What I loved most was that beneath all the steam and shenanigans was a genuine love story. The connection felt real, the emotions hit, and the relationship dynamics made me root for everybody involved. This was love, loyalty, passion, and freakiness all wrapped up in one delicious package, and I was absolutely here for every single page of it! 💯📚✨

If you’re a Why Choose lover, a poly romance fan, or someone who enjoys seeing multiple people love each other the way they deserve to be loved, add this one to your TBR immediately. 🏃🏾‍♀️📖

And just a friendly reminder: this is definitely a grown-and-sexy read for readers who enjoy their romance hot, spice on a thousand and their book boyfriends coming in multiples! 😜🔥❤️

A Time was Had

This an erotica and the erotica was eroticing!! It was just a fun read and while I know it was an erotica I will say I wish we got to see a little more of the emotional connection, like we were told but I would have liked it to be shown a bit more! Other than that I loved it. This is for GROWN adults, swords cross so if that’s not your jam, try something else.

I enjoyed this book

But Kareem and Crue were in denial about their attraction to each other. I feel like they were using women as a buffer. I don't doubt how much they liked Saniyah, by they are in denial about their attraction to each other. "I wasn't attracted to men, and neither wss he" Yeah okay lol I wish they would have allowed themselves to love on each other even if Saniyah wasn't around. It was still a fun time though.

The plot was better than the spicy scenes. The spice was mid, and people online definitely hyped this book up way too much. Compared to other why choose books I’ve read, the writing could have been a lot better. At least the plot was interesting, but it still wasn’t enough to save the book.

The plot was all over the place. Also, some parts were overly detailed while I felt some important parts weren’t detailed enough.

My first read by this author and OMG! The spice was spicing! I freaking love a good why choose. Crue & Kadeem didn't play about Saniyah AT ALL! I wish Crue and Kadeem would've just admitted that they were bisexual instead of denying it. (Mind that part when we found out my mouth dropped cuz I wasn't expecting that lol) All I will say is CHAPTER 14! I needed to be in the ROOM! That MMMFFF scene BABY!!! ughhhhhhhhh LOVE!!!!

Overall if you don't like to read about why choose and sword crossing, please don't read it. Cuz, she warns you what's in the book before chapter one.

What’s better than having a rich boyfriend that don’t play bout you…..well the answer is TWO

Oh and the boyfriends are boyfriends too…..kinda lol
Listen Saniyah stumbled upon a dream life (if you’re into that kinda thing) and I was here for it!
This story is undoubtably spice asf but there’s a clever little plot too.

I did find one of the big reveals to be predictable but it was still enjoyable.
Oh and I need to know how those parents met👀👀

Kyiris did it again

Kyiris Ashley has done it again with another fire read! This time, we’re following Saniyah, who’s living her best life after landing a job at Blackline Security. When she first meets her bosses, Kadeem and Crue, she can’t help but be totally into both of them. But she’s keeping it professional as their secretary, at least until she works late one night and uncovers something that flips everything upside down.

Things really heat up when Saniyah attends a work event with Crue, and trust me, that's when all hell breaks loose. Enemies come out of the woodwork, and betrayal is all over the place. The drama in this book is off the charts! I found myself saying, “You’ve got to be shitting me!” a few pages in. I even had to reread some parts just to make sure I saw what I thought I saw. From the first page, I was totally hooked. Seriously, you’ve got to check this one out!

Rating: Stylish / Childish —
Stylish

Kyiris really knows how to write a book about just about anything, and I’m here for it! Her ability to craft stories across different genres is seriously impressive. I didn’t catch any grammatical or spelling mistakes, the writing flowed smoothly. I loved the different perspectives from the characters it added so much depth to the story. The things they were doing in this book had me taking breaks and blushing like I was involved. It was pure nastiness at its finest. So if you’re not into that this may not be the book for you but if you like a little filth with your reading then you’ll definitely enjoy this book.

This book had it all drama, suspense, betrayal, love, eroticism, and some crazy unexpected twists. Just when you think you’re in for a simple love story, Kyiris throws in a curveball that keeps you on your toes. She introduces characters in a way that makes you think you know where it’s going, but then she pulls everything together in a way that you don’t see coming until it’s too late. It’s a ride!

Rating: Say It Loud / Hush Lil Baby — Say it Loud

The message I took away from this book is all about being yourself. Even when you feel like you’re not doing things the "normal" way, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of you or your choices. We all need those men like Crue and Kadeem in our lives—maybe not exactly like them, but guys who are confident in who they are and what they stand for. Saniyah didn’t hesitate to go for what she wanted, taking a chance without a second thought. It’s such an empowering vibe that really resonates!

Verdict:

Y’all already know I’m a huge fan of Author Kyiris there’s nothing she can write that I won’t pick up! This book was everything I hoped for and more. It checked all the boxes for what makes a great read. From start to finish, I felt a whirlwind of emotions, with shock being my first reaction, and that just kicked off a whole snowball of feelings. I finished it in just a couple of hours because I couldn’t put it down until I knew what happened. I can’t tell you what happened without giving you spoilers , but I can tell you to go on ahead and grab it. I highly recommend you check it out because you won’t regret it!

# Book Review: *Can I Join You? : A Why Choose Romance* by Kryiris Ashley

**Sensual. Seductive. Transforming. Togetherness.**

What can I say about *Can I Join You* other than it's a must-read if you're looking to broaden your kinky side?

I have to admit, most of the books I've read involving threesomes feature two women and one man, which is the more common dynamic. However, Kryiris Ashley flips the script with two men and one woman—and baby, from the very first chapter, I was hooked.

You know how people say, "clutch your pearls"? Not only did I clutch mine, but I practically yanked them right off my neck! This book is spicy, bold, and unapologetically sensual.

What surprised me most was the character development. While you may think you're diving into a straightforward love story, Ashley delivers so much more. There are twists, suspense, mystery, and moments that leave you wondering who did what—and why. The story keeps you engaged from beginning to end.

Kadeem and Crue are the owners of a successful security firm that caters to an elite clientele. Despite their success, they're missing one important piece: a secretary who can be the face of their company. Enter Sandiyah, a woman desperately in need of a job. What begins as a professional opportunity quickly evolves into something much deeper.

Not only does Saniyah prove herself to be a valuable employee, but she also transforms the lives of both men. To say they adore her would be an understatement.

Kadeem is the more personal and approachable businessman, while Crude is authoritative, stern, and commanding. Despite their differences, both men are equally delicious in their own ways, adding plenty of spice and chemistry to the story.

Now, if you're anything like me and initially think, "I'm not really into books like this," I encourage you to give it a chance. I stepped outside my comfort zone, and I'm so glad I did. The romance, intrigue, passion, and emotional connections make this an unforgettable read.

Shout out to Kryiris Ashley for introducing these characters to my bookshelf. They have officially earned a place there.

**10 out of 10. Highly recommended.**

I believe this is my first read from the author and I had a really great time.

The story itself was very unique and kept my interest throughout.

The spice- WOW!

No complaints there.

Chapter 14- while I loved that, the scenario felt more forced to the story than the previous organically written interactions.

The ending- fast paced.

I loved the plot twists at the end.

I would have loved for the author to have given more time for those twists to unfold so that the readers could fully appreciate the connections and setups.

Everything was revealed in the same scene. However, I felt like the plot twists were so interesting that they deserved their own moments to “breathe”.

The reason this is a four star read instead of a five was the MM component.

Now, I love MM reads and spice.

I don’t mind swords crossing.

In books, I welcome it!

However, I wished the author had shown more emotional connection between the two MMCs. No specific titles were needed but I do feel like the story could have explored that connection and not just the “heterosexual bromance” component.

Again, I loved it and would highly recommend it.

When it comes to a why choose, I am all for it, and 'Can I Join You?' did not disappoint at all. I got this book recommendation on Facebook, and I am so glad it came across my feed. Before Saniyah even entered the picture, the dynamic between Kadeem and Crue was so solid, and you could tell they cared about each other so much. They most definitely were feeling each other on a deeper level and just used a woman to be a buffer in my opinion. Saniyah was like a missing puzzle that completed both of them. I love how she goes after what she wants and how Kadeem and Crue wants to give her the world. I love how they don't play about each other and are ready to lay anybody out behind them. The spice was definitely there, and I am glad they all found love in the end.

In Can I Join You by Kyiris Ashleyour FMC Saniyah is desperate need for a new job, so landing a secretary position at Blackline Security is a dream come true. And it is in more ways than one. Not only does she have the job, she also lands the hearts of Blackline’s two owners Crue and Kadeem, our MMCs.

Yes, just like the cover says this is a why choose novel, and it’s my favorite type. It’s the kind where everyone is loving on everyone. There’s a plot here, but make no mistake it’s ultimately erotica and the spice is spice’ing.

If you like your FMCs loved on by not one, but two MMCs who are as down bad for each other as they are for her, please pick this one up. Kyiris did her thing.

I can’t even explain how much I enjoyed this story! First off, it was an MMF why choose situation, and it delivered everything I love; affection, plot twists, drama, and acceptance. The way they cared for the FMC in this one? Absolutely A1!

There were moments where I thought I might be uncomfortable, but I was actually very much invested and comfortable with the journey. I loved the spice, the storyline, and watching the characters grow throughout the book. I need to do a spoiler version to highlight my favorite scenes 😝!

Those MMCs were out here doing the absolute most… they were definitely cruising down the Nile River. 😮‍💨🌶️

This was a beautiful mix of romance, chaos, and emotional connection, and I enjoyed every minute of it. 💕📚The cover is also pretty f*cking accurate!

Best Why Choose I Have Read Thus Far

This was a really great read. It's very spicy but has a great story to go with it. I love the why choose genre, especially when everyone is tangled up together.

Three critiques:
1. There would be times a sentence was said, and then a few sentences later, the same sentence would appear again. It happens repeatedly starting around, maybe chapter 10.

2. Chapter 14 should have been thirty pages longer. I definitely wanted more!

3. I didn't like what the author made Saniyah do at the end.

I would recommend this book and read more from this author.

I thought this book was just going to be a freaky romance between Kadeem, Crue, and Saniyah, but it turned out to be so much more. I loved watching Kadeem and Crue’s relationship grow throughout the story while they both fell deeper in love with Saniyah. Their connection felt natural, and seeing the bond between all three of them develop was one of my favorite parts of the book.

What really surprised me was the kidnapping and violence. I wasn’t expecting that at all, and it gave the story an edge that kept me hooked. It added suspense and higher stakes beyond the romance.

Overall, it was such a good book, and by the end I wanted more. I definitely wasn’t ready for the story to be over.

A freaky deaky “why choose” where the swords are more than crossing, they’re clanging, really loud lol

Crue and Kadeem are the reason they put “men who have sex with men” as a category on official papers cuz let them tell it, they’re not “gay” or bi lmao

In between the straight up smut, there was plot there as well. I wasn’t expecting the plot twists, so that was cool, even if parts seemed left field.

I would read more from this author. The spice was indeed spicy, plot development was okay, and I didn’t notice any major errors.

The way this book has me and the rest of the book community in a chokehold should be studied. I am so obsessed with book, I honestly want to go back and read it again!

I love a good why choose romance especially one we’re the boyfriends are boyfriends and this was that, but the boyfriends were in denial.

The fact that love sleeping with each other but swear up and down that they are not gay had me cracking up. I really wanted them to say the loved each other as the end which they didn’t but they were more open with being together.

Also I love my girl Saniyah she knew what she wanted and went after it and got that and so much more.

This was my first book with sword activity and I'm not sure how I feel about it 🤣. The story was good, really confused as to why the men kept saying they wasnt attracted to men, which could be true I guess, but the way they was going at it and enjoying each other, I beg to differ. They started this lifestyle early on and into their adult life and the female character jumped right in with all the things! The spice in the this book was spicing! Although it was sword activity I did enjoy the book, especially since it had a plot outside of sex
