Troy is about to go through an arranged marriage thanks to a treaty made by his father. Kayla has been in love with him since high school, and she is devistated, especially since she didn't hear anything about it from him. He just suddenly stopped any and all contact, and she found out about the wedding when she must help bake the wedding cake through her aunt's bakery.
Why did this novel get such a low rating? It was part of a shifter bundle, and it was basically two chapters long. It doesn't do anything but piss me off. Segments are a pet peeve of mine, you see. This? This isn't even worth calling a segment. If you have to buy it, don't. It's not worth it.

Bear Bride AWESOME book!!
This book was so good I read it straight through!! I cannot wait for the next absinthe series to find out what happens ...does Troy find his family so Kayla and he get their happy ending and oh my goodness please tell me they find and retrieve the baby that evil Corrine managed to kidnap!!!!!
