A holiday where everything starts off wrong, and ends up oh so right.
Chloe When I surprise my boyfriend with a vacation I’d secretly planned, I never imagined he’d break up with me. Definitely not two weeks before Christmas. So instead of letting me spiral, my best friend insists I take the trip anyway. Fresh air. Fresh start. What could go wrong? Everything. The second I arrive in the most festive town on earth, I discover all my reservations have been canceled. It’s peak Christmas season. Every room is booked. Every restaurant is packed. And I’m stranded.
JB When I decided to open a Christmas tree farm, everyone laughed. Now we’re one of the biggest producers in the region. Hard work pays off. Doesn’t mean I have to like it. While the world calls it the most wonderful time of the year, I call it exhausting. Dropping off a tree at the local inn should’ve been simple. Instead, I walked in on two women on the verge of a meltdown. I planned to keep walking—until my cousin volunteered my house as their backup. I should’ve said no. Except now I’m hauling her luggage through my front door, reminding myself it’s only for ten days. Then she’ll be gone. Except with every day that passes, she gets further under my skin. You can’t fall in love in just over a week. …Right? Unless it’s a Holiday Rebound.
When Wall Street Journal and USA Today Best Selling Author's nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
Quick notes: ~ dual 1st POV ~ full on Christmasy ~ small town ~ BFF goals ~ grumpy/sunshine ~ forced proximity ~ strangers to lovers ~ some steamage ~ some miscommunication that didn't bother me too much based on the situation
✨ Rating: 4⭐️ 🫧 Vibes: an unexpected christmas 🎶 Song: pick out a christmas tree - dan + shay 📚 Would I recommend? yes! 💬 tldr thoughts: cute and cozy christmas read!
In the package: 📦 strangers to lovers 📦 forced proximity 📦 opposites attract
Plot: Chloe's boyfriend just broke up with her after she booked a trip to a small town for Christmas. She decides to take the trip with her best friend instead, only to get there and find out the reservation has been cancelled. With nowhere to stay, Tucker offers up his cousin's house. JB is not happy about it but soon realizes Chloe might be just who he needs in his life.
Thoughts: My first introduction to Natasha was Holiday Unscripted and I've been obsessed with her books ever since! The banter is always so good and this one was no exception! I loved JB and Chloe just as much as I loved the side plot with Tucker and Rickie. This story was so festive and fun as well, I loved how Chloe made JB open up and create new Christmas traditions.
The constant miscommunication is what didn't make this a 5 star for me. Once? Okay... But it kept happening between the main characters and instead of just talking it out, they would irrationally act out. After they got over this (which was rather quickly thankfully), the story did get better, so it's still a solid 4 star book for me!
This was such an adorable story. It’s a slow burn, grumpy vs sunshine romance with just the right amount of miscommunication to keep things interesting. I couldn’t put it down.
I’ll read a holiday romance any time of the year 🎄
And you can’t go wrong with a Natasha Madison book.
This had grumpy x sunshine. He’s a Christmas tree farm owner and she’s a recently dumped damsel in distress. There’s a lot of holiday festivities. Ho ho ho 🎅🏻 There’s a forced proximity situation. Some miscommunication.
This was just overall cute.
My only hang up was the other characters/couple were so overly powering at times.

I LOVE me some Natasha Madison! ❤️ She has officially become an auto read author for me, and Holiday Rebound was exactly the kind of fun, feel good holiday romance I needed!
Chloe’s vacation definitely did NOT go as planned, but what starts as a complete disaster turns into the sweetest unexpected holiday romance. I loved watching her and JB’s relationship develop, especially with all the forced proximity and Christmas magic mixed in. 🎄❤️
This was such a cute, entertaining, swoony read with the perfect holiday vibes. Natasha Madison knows how to give me characters I can’t help but root for, and JB definitely stole my heart!
Another 5 star read from Natasha, and I’ll happily read anything she writes! She’s officially an auto buy AND auto read author for me! 🎄✨
Natasha Madison's "Holiday Rebound" is a lighthearted strangers-to-lovers holiday romp between Chloe (FMC), who was recently dumped by the man she thought she was going to marry, and JB (MMC), who owns a tree farm with his cousins in a small town. Chloe had booked an amazing Christmas vacation getaway with her boyfriend, but he broke up with her after unwrapping his present and making a shocking confession. Chloe and her best friend, Rickie, decide to go on that vacation together so she can start to heal her broken heart, but when they get there, they find out her ex cancelled all of the reservations, and everything is booked for the holidays. Tucker, who works on the farm and happened to be in the lodge to overhear their conversation, offers to let them stay at his cousin JB's massive house instead. JB is a huge Grinchly workaholic and seems to hate Christmas; he's reluctant to let two strangers stay at his house, but they may just be the thing he needs to lift his seasonal spirits. I enjoyed this one, but I did have some issues with it. It's full of Christmas coziness and holiday cheer. I loved the opposite nature of Chloe's sunny disposition and JB's grouchy facade. Her love of Christmas trumps his grumpiness about it, and she convinces him to step outside his comfort zone to do things he wouldn't normally do to celebrate the holidays, including small-town wandering, Christmas markets, hot cocoa, decorating his house, getting a tree for him, etc. The two of them do have good chemistry and banter with one another, but there is a loooooot of miscommunication between them, especially when they can't get their heads out of their @$$3$ long enough to tell each other what they want! I liked Rickie and Tucker's easy camaraderie that offsets the teeth-pulling nature of JB and Chloe's pairing. That's how I'd describe it: it was like pulling teeth to get them to tell the truth to each other about what they really wanted! There were a few moments of repetition and slowness in this story, but overall, it's a mostly fast, easy holiday read that will put you in the mood for Christmas!
Thank you to Natasha Madison and The Author Agency for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.
We are back in our southern series world and i am not mad about it!
Chloe who is all sunshine and loves everything Christmas gets dumped after shes planned the perfect holiday themed getaway. Deciding to go with her best friend and make the most of her time she soon discovers her ex cancelled everything and they are left stranded.
Two town bachelors come to the rescue and one of them just happens to be the grump that is JP. Living a boring life since his past relationship failed, he gets overwhelmed with all the festive cheer and it was so great to see his grumpiness fade for Chloe!
They had a bit of slow burn that turned into them being unable to stay away from each other which was just perfect! All the holiday theme throughout was so much fun and gets us so ready for the holiday season!

Bonus Points go to the snippet we got of Asher and Amelia, I love Natasha's books where we dive into her world and have great side characters and when we meet them again it feels like coming home!

What does one do when you find yourself breaking up with your cheating boyfriend and have a couples trip booked to a cute town for Christmas? Naturally, turn it into a girls' trip with your bestie.
Unfortunately, when Chloe gets to the inn, she finds out her ex-boyfriend cancelled the reservations. When JB and his cousin Tucker walk in and hear Chloe and Rickie explaining the situation to the innkeeper, Tucker offers up his cousin’s house for them.
Now JB has two new houseguests for the next 10 days. JB isn't very Christmas spirited, even though he runs a Christmas Tree farm with his cousins. The last thing he wanted to do was entertain this idea. But as the days go on, Chloe ends up bringing out his old self: the person he used to be.
JB and Chloe don’t start out with insta-love, but rather connect on a different level they never saw coming. Chloe is not only falling in love with the town and its residents, but also with JB. Can JB open up his heart and convince himself that Chloe needs to stay?
I adored this book. I love the grumpy sunshine aspect between these two. It made for some laugh out loud scenes. Was it a slow-burn? Yes. But once we got there, just WOW. We also get the side story with Rickie and Tucker. Get a glimpse of past characters from Southern Secrets (JB's parents).

JB, one that is not so big on the holidays Chloe, loves Christmas and everything about it
JB, Chloe and a beautiful holiday romance
This is just a wonderful holiday romance with everything Christmas related. Despite having a terrible breakup before Christmas, Chloe goes on a vacation with her best friend. One that was supposed to be for herself and her ex-boyfriend. But said ex-boyfriend cancelled the trip behind her back. So that is how Chloe and JB meet. At the holiday inn where Chloe gets her news while JB delivers Christmas trees. JB himself has had a break up a while ago. And as someone who sells christmas trees, JB isn’t very christmas spirited. When Chloe stumbles in his life everything changes. Chloe gives him his old and true self back and makes his house a home. Chloe falls in love with this town and its residents. As does her best friend, Rickie, who falls hard and fast for JB’s cousin Tucker. Which is a circumstance that leads to more time alone with grumpy JB. And suddenly all bad happenings from both turn into something good and warm. And bring more and more with it. Things between JB and Chloe are all hot and heated but also fail with communications sometimes. And well, with bad timed interruptions as well. But when her past rolls into town Chloe knows what she really wants and where her heart belongs. Only JB suddenly seems distant. Another misread situation without talking? But a perfect happy end waits just around the corner and brings all the smiles and feelings.

Such a fun, lighthearted, Christmas story. Just as Chloe needs a break from life, Chloe and her bestie Rickie, head to a small Christmas town. And it’s just what both their hearts needed.
It’s a crazy time of year. It’s nearing Christmas and JB and his cousins run a Christmas tree farm. JB used to love it but dreads it more and more each year. JB and Tucker head to one of the many deliveries of the day, and overhear a conversation at the local Inn.
Chloe is so excited for Christmas and she can’t wait to tell her boyfriend about the ten day trip she has planned for them. All things Christmas. A festive Inn, tree lighting, hot cocoa, horse rides, gingerbread…the list goes on and on. But things don’t quite go as expected. Rickie tells Chloe she needs to go on the trip and she will go with her. A friends Christmas, and Chloe loves it. But when they arrive at the Inn, their arrival is not so merry. That’s when two men overhear the dilemma and offer to help. Now Chloe and Rickie are headed to the middle of nowhere with two strangers.
Loved this. There is something about a holiday story. Despite the warm temperatures where I’m at, I like to envision the small town, filled with lights, the snow coming down, and it just makes everything warm and happy. It’s a joyous time of year. Anyways, JB and Chloe both were missing something in their life. JB was just going through the motions from day to day, not taking in what was around him. Chloe felt heartbreak and just wanted someone to put in the effort, to make her a priority. With JB and Chloe being around each other everyday, they start to open up to one another. With Chloe loving all things Christmas, JB is along for the ride and finds that all these traditions are actually a good thing. He found someone to enjoy them with. And Chloe finds out what it is like to be desired, realizing that’s something she never had. They both found what they needed for a great Christmas. I love these two together, as well as the others, and the whole group was a lot of fun to read.
The audiobook for Holiday Rebound was perfection. Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood did an incredible job in this duet narrated book. This is the first time I’ve heard Gregory, I believe, and he portrayed JB perfectly. Not only did he nail the grumpy side but also captured the softer side as well. Savannah always does a great job, no matter which character she portrays, but she also does an amazing job portraying Chloe. There are several moments where Chloe has a range of emotions throughout the book and you can really feel the passion. Both of them did an excellent job bringing this story to life!

Oh my goodness, this is such a festive, sweet story. I enjoyed Chloe and grumpy JB (Jacob) so much. Even Tucker and Rickie were fun!
After getting dumped by her boyfriend on their one-year anniversary, Chloe (and her best friend Rickie) decide to take the trip Chloe had planned for them anyway. But when they get there, she finds their reservation had been cancelled by her ex. With nowhere to stay, Chloe and Rickie are offered to stay with local tree farmers, JB and Tucker.
I loved seeing Chloe and Jacob's relationship develop. He was grumpy and she called him out on it. They were sweet and so cute. Gah. When Brian (her ex) kept calling and showed up I was like NO.........
I listened to the advanced listeners copy (along with the advanced readers copy) and I was pleasantly surprised when it was DUET narration by Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas. Loved it!
Thank you to the author and Blackstone Publishing for the advanced readers copy. Thank you to the author for the advanced listeners copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
When Chloe Morrison’s boyfriend surprise dumps her right before a holiday getaway she decides to go anyway with her friend. Sadly, her reservation got cancelled and with it being the busy season everywhere is booked with no place to stay. That is until a nice guy offers his cousin’s house to stay at. JD is not too happy about that. Between running his tree farm during the holiday season he now has to deal with two strangers in his home and one he can’t seem to forget. Maybe this is just what the holiday season called for though…A cozy romance with a stranger. Well, this is an adorable grumpy/sunshine romance set in a winter wonderland town. The characters, the friends and everything else just give all the cozy feels. Grab your blanket and cuddle up for love. Told in first person and dual POV.
This was such a cute and cozy seasonal read! Both Chloe and JB came into the relationship carrying the hurt and baggage from their past experiences, so it was incredibly sweet to watch them heal each other’s hearts and learn to give love another chance. With the Christmas season as the backdrop, the story had the perfect festive, heartwarming feel.
Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood were absolutely perfect as JB and Chloe! Gregory captured JB’s grumpy personality so well, while Savannah brought Chloe’s sweet and lovable nature to life.
Definitely add this one to your holiday TBR!
Thank you, Natasha Madison and The Author Agency for the ALC.
“The worst part about all of this is that she fits here like I never knew someone could.”
Chloe thought she had the perfect Christmas getaway planned with her boyfriend, Brian. Instead, he breaks up with her just two weeks before Christmas, after admitting he has been cheating. With her reservations already made and her best friend Rickie refusing to let her waste the trip, Chloe heads to a festive little town anyway. Unfortunately, when she arrives, she discovers that Brian has canceled everything. With nowhere to stay, she ends up at the beautiful home of JB a grumpy Christmas tree farmer who isn't exactly thrilled about having unexpected guests. But between Christmas festivities, a little decorating, plenty of teasing and undeniable chemistry, Chloe starts to feel at home and maybe even finds something she wasn't looking for. This was a sweet, fun holiday romance with plenty of Christmas magic. I really enjoyed Chloe's personality. She's funny, outspoken and doesn't let her awful ex ruin her entire holiday. Jacob was a lovely grumpy hero and I enjoyed watching him slowly open up and let Chloe into his carefully organized world. The banter between them was entertaining and I loved the festive atmosphere, the Christmas tree decorating and the small-town charm. Rickie and Tucker also added some fun to the story. I wouldn't mind getting more of them! My biggest issue was the speed of the romance. They get close very quickly, and although I enjoyed their chemistry, I would have liked a little more time for their feelings and relationship to develop. Some of the emotional moments could have used more depth. Still, this was an enjoyable, cozy read with a lovely Christmas setting, a grumpy tree farmer and a heroine who deserves a much better holiday than the one her ex planned for her. Audio book – 5 stars Absolutely loved listening to this one! Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood did a fantastic job bringing JB and Chloe to life. Their performances worked so well together. Savannah captured Chloe's humor, warmth and lively personality, while Gregory gave JB just the right mix of grumpiness, charm and softness. The banter felt natural, the chemistry came through beautifully and they handled the sweeter and more emotional moments wonderfully. It was an entertaining, feel good listen that made the Christmas atmosphere even more enjoyable. Both narrators kept me engaged from beginning to end.
✨ARC/ALC Review✨ Holiday Rebound By Natasha Madison
I look at her, thinking I don’t think I’ve seen someone as beautiful as her. I don’t even know if she’s wearing makeup; she is just naturally f***ing beautiful.
“D*mn, Santa is packing.”
“And you said you didn’t want to be my rebound.” “I don’t know about you, but my title is being promoted to boyfriend.”
JB and Chloe’s story is a sweet, comfy and cozy holiday read! We meet Chloe and her best friend Rickie, who decide to go on a girls trip after Chloe is dumped. Instead of wasting the trip the girls decide to enjoy it, which takes them on a holiday adventure! JB is the town grump who has been burned in his own relationships, and his heart is closed off to love. That is until Chloe starts to thaw his cold heart and together these two learn to heal from their past relationships and love again. Chloe and JB’s story is narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas.
Thank you so much Natasha and The Author Agency for the chance to ARC and ALC!
Tropes: Holiday Romance Opposites Attract Grumpy x Sunshine Forced Proximity Damsel In Distress Emotional Scars
Chloe’s Christmas plans don’t exactly go as expected, but sometimes the best things happen when everything goes wrong. Enter Jacob (JB), a grumpy Christmas tree farmer who definitely wasn't planning on having holiday roommates, much less falling in love! I loved these two together! The chemistry, banter, and forced proximity made this such a fun holiday romance.
Rickie and Tucker were such fun additions, too! I loved the friendships, the humor, and all the little moments that made this story even more enjoyable.
Natasha Madison delivered the perfect mix of Christmas charm, romance, and swoon. Gregory Salinas and Savannah Peachwood were fantastic on audio and brought these characters to life beautifully! 🎧
Such a fun holiday read! I loved every minute of it and definitely recommend adding this one to your holiday TBR!
Well safe to say Natasha brings it every single time. My mood of late was all over the place and Holiday Rebound was just what I needed. JB or Jacob is a grumpy christmas tree farmer and Chloe is a marketing wonder who in advertently ends up staying at his home , when her reservation gets cancelled. This small town, christmas romance was just so cute. Grumpy sunshine, small town , besties, classic vibes. With the town in full christmas spirit and these two in close proximity, sparks fly and I ate it up. Ah so so good.
This was a super cute Christmas story. The writing was a little off at some spots for me but I liked the story and the characters. Im a sucker for Christmas romance and this hit the spot. Thank you Netgalley and Natasha for letting me be a ARC reader.
If you're looking for a cute, spicy holiday rom-com that checks just about every box on your Christmas romance wishlist, The Holiday Rebound delivers!
Chloe has planned the perfect romantic anniversary getaway to a magical little Christmas town that sounds like it came straight out of a Hallmark movie. Unfortunately, the night she reveals her plans, her boyfriend dumps her! Rather than let a breakup ruin her holiday, Chloe decides to take the trip anyway. A series of holiday mishaps eventually leads her to Jacob, a grumpy man who has his own reasons for wanting absolutely nothing to do with love.
Jacob has been burned by a previous relationship, and Chloe is fresh off a breakup. Neither is looking for romance, and their initial interactions are anything but warm and fuzzy. They're both a little grumpy, a little guarded, and definitely not interested in falling in love. Naturally, we all know where this is headed!
And the Christmas atmosphere? It's everything! Christmas trees, twinkling lights, a Christmas tree farm, holiday baking, children visiting Santa, and all those wonderful little traditions that make holiday romances so much fun. Natasha Madison really gives us that magical Christmas setting.
I also loved the supporting characters, especially the sweet little romance developing between their friends. They were such cute sidekicks and added another layer of charm to the story.
Now, let's talk about what kept this from being a five-star read for me.
THE MISCOMMUNICATION!
There is only so much miscommunication I can tolerate before it drives me absolutely crazy! There were moments when I wanted to reach into this audiobook, grab Chloe and Jacob by the shoulders, and tell them to JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER! You're adults! Use your words!
I also struggled a little with how quickly their relationship developed. This is very much an insta-love romance, with their feelings developing over approximately ten days. While their chemistry was definitely there, I personally prefer a slower emotional buildup. I want to watch characters gradually fall in love, and this relationship moved a little too quickly for my taste.
That said, once the miscommunication settled down, I really enjoyed where the story went. Chloe and Jacob's relationship became genuinely sweet, and the ending delivered that warm, happy feeling I want from a Christmas romance.
Now, the audiobook narration? FIVE STARS!
Savannah Peachwood has that wonderfully sweet, warm voice that makes her characters instantly likable. Even when Chloe was frustrating me with her inability to communicate her feelings, Savannah made it easy to connect with her.
And Gregory Salinas! I don't get to listen to him nearly enough. He has such a deep, rich voice, and it was absolutely perfect for our grumpy Jacob. I thoroughly enjoyed his performance. Both narrators brought these characters to life beautifully and made the listening experience such a treat.
Overall, The Holiday Rebound is a solid four-star holiday romance for me. Yes, the miscommunication tested my patience, and the insta-love moved faster than I personally prefer, but there's still so much to enjoy.
It's festive, funny, spicy, and filled with Christmas charm. It wraps up everything you want from a holiday rom-com in one cute little package and leaves you with a smile.
If you love Hallmark-style Christmas towns, forced proximity, grumpy characters, and holiday romances with a little extra heat, this one deserves a spot on your seasonal reading list!

Holiday Rebound by Natasha Madison was such a fun, sweet and festive Christmas romance, and honestly, Chloe and JB were exactly the kind of pairing I love. Give me a heartbroken heroine, a grumpy Christmas tree farmer, forced proximity and a man who has absolutely no intention of falling in love, and I am completely sold.
Poor Chloe! Imagine planning the perfect romantic holiday getaway, only to have your boyfriend break up with you two weeks before Christmas. Talk about terrible timing! Determined not to let heartbreak ruin everything, she takes the trip anyway, only to discover that all her reservations have been cancelled. No hotel, no bookings and absolutely nowhere to stay.
And then there's JB.
This man owns a Christmas tree farm, works ridiculously hard and somehow manages to be one of the grumpiest people during the festive season. The last thing he wants is an unexpected houseguest, but thanks to his cousin, that's exactly what he gets!
I absolutely loved the dynamic between Chloe and JB. She's trying to mend her broken heart, while he's counting down the days until he gets his peaceful life back. Their personalities clash in the best possible way, and watching that initial irritation turn into something neither expected was so much fun.
And honestly, there's just something about a grumpy man who starts falling for the one woman he never planned on letting into his life.
JB might think ten days isn't enough time to fall in love, but his heart clearly didn't get that memo!
I loved watching Chloe find her happiness again and seeing JB slowly realise that having someone disrupt his perfectly organised life might actually be the best thing to happen to him. Their chemistry, playful banter and those sweet moments made this such an enjoyable romance.
The Christmas tree farm and festive small town setting added all those cosy holiday vibes I love, with the perfect combination of humour, sweetness, chemistry and a little emotion.
Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas were a wonderful pairing for the audiobook, bringing Chloe and JB's personalities, banter and growing attraction to life. Their narration added that extra warmth and charm to an already lovely holiday romance.
Natasha Madison delivers another entertaining romance filled with Christmas magic, unexpected love and a reminder that sometimes the worst holiday plans lead to the very best surprises.
If you love grumpy heroes, sunshine heroines, forced proximity and a festive romance that starts with heartbreak but ends with something so much better, Holiday Rebound is definitely one to add to your Christmas reading list! ❤️🎄
Is there anything better than a Christmas romance that delivers all the festive feels AND a sweet, sexy love story?! Because Holiday Rebound by Natasha Madison absolutely understood the assignment!
Chloe’s holiday plans take a spectacular nosedive when her boyfriend breaks up with her just two weeks before Christmas. Determined not to let a breakup ruin everything, she heads off on their planned vacation anyway, only to discover that all her reservations have been canceled. Enter JB, a grumpy Christmas tree farm owner who reluctantly agrees to let her stay at his house. What could possibly go wrong?!
This was just so festive, jolly, cheerful, and FUN! I loved the premise immediately, and the execution was exactly what I wanted from a holiday romance. There’s plenty of Christmas charm, some seriously entertaining banter, and a romance that manages to be equally sweet and spicy.
One of my favorite things about Natasha Madison’s books is how easily I connect with her female characters, and Chloe was no exception. I really liked her! She’s the kind of heroine I immediately wanted to root for, especially after her less than ideal start to the holiday season. Her friendship with her BFF Rickie was another highlight for me. Their dynamic was so much fun, and I loved the humor and personality their friendship brought to the story.
And the romance?! So good! Sometimes a slow burn in a shorter holiday time frame can feel a little rushed or unbelievable, but that wasn’t the case here. The progression between Chloe and JB felt natural, and I really appreciated that. Their chemistry was fantastic, with plenty of flirty moments, sexy tension, and sweetness along the way. The banter was great, and I loved watching their relationship develop.
Overall, Holiday Rebound was such a delightful holiday read! It’s cheerful, charming, funny, romantic, and just spicy enough to heat up those cold winter nights. If you’re looking for a Christmas romance that will put a smile on your face and get you into the holiday spirit, this one is definitely worth adding to your seasonal TBR!
Perfect for readers who love:
* 🎄 Festive small town Christmas settings * 🌲 Christmas tree farms and holiday magic * ❤️ Forced proximity romances * 🔥 Sweet and spicy slow burns * 😍 Grumpy heroes and lovable heroines * 😂 Funny banter and entertaining friendships * 💕 Unexpected love after heartbreak * ✨ Feel good holiday romances with plenty of charm
Yikes, does Chloe dodge a bullet at the start of Holiday Rebound! Her boyfriend has been dating someone else in secret the entire time they've been together, obviously has some issues with an overbearing mother that is keeping him in the closet about his other relationship, and is a self-centered jerk at the end of the day. He dumps her and all of this comes out a few weeks before Christmas and after she has planned a getaway to a quaint Christmas town. Her best friend and business partner convinces her to take the trip anyways as a girls trip. They immediately find out that her ex cancelled all reservations leaving them with nowhere to stay and meet two good looking Christmas tree farmers, one of which happens to have extra rooms in his house. I actually liked that we get two stories in one; as our MCs Chloe and JB/Jacob take longer to admit they've fallen for each other, their friends Rickie and Tucker also have an insta-love connection that kind of helps these two know they can make it work, too. The duet narration with Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas was enjoyable with each delivering their set of roles with some range. The miscommunication - actually lack of communication - trope was alive and well in this one and made some parts of the book drag on. While both of their most previous relationships didn’t end great, they don’t seem super heartbroken so I'm not sure why they aren't more forecoming with each other. I still don’t know how people can literally only see 1 second of something and not hear or see anything else that happens immediately after. Even though it's a medium burn, spicy contemporary romance, the dirty talk was a little heavy handed in this story and felt a little forced for these characters. It's a fun holiday read and listen if you want something to get you in the festive spirit. Thank you to Natasha Madison and The Author Agency for advanced copies to review.
This was a cozy hallmark holiday romance with sizzling chemistry and I LOVED it!
A grumpy tree farmer and a sunshine girl just trying to pick herself up after a breakup and there is no room in the inn! What will she do?! Chloe and her best friend find themselves staying with JB after the room she booked is canceled. For all the joy he brings with delivering Christmas trees to everyone else Chloe finds JB home missing the Christmas magic. She makes him a tourist in his own town and every memory they make together he is finding it harder to see his life without her in it.
JB and Chloe were adorable and there chemistry and banter was so fun! I love a grumpy x sunshine trope and make it Christmas time it's even better! The tension and forced proximity was perfection and I loved the slow burn of their relationship! And once they gave into each other! The spice was hot! I also loved the two for one love story we get with the side characters also having a little romance going on at the same time! This was such a fun holiday romance and Natasha nailed all the Christmas magic in this one!
AUDIO: This was narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas! These two were the perfect pair for these grumpy x sunshine characters! Their banter was so fun and the chemistry was spot on! Gregory's deep timber was amazing for JB's rough and tired Christmas tree farmer. And Savannah brought the joy of Christmas with her performance of Chloe!

A Stellar Romance That Will Leave You Giggling Out Loud!
Holiday Rebound by Natasha Madison had me giggling out loud so much from start to finish. Romantic comedies with sharp wit, grumpy heroes, and incredible chemistry.
I absolutely love the banter between Jacob (JB) and Chloe. The connection between them just couldn’t be more perfection! Their banter and how they played off of each other made the pages fly by. Jacob is such a grumpy brute of a man, and Chloe is just the complete opposite. Watching these two opposites attract and clash in the best way possible was pure joy.A
The author did very well with the whole script and the plot for the rebound. I also really enjoyed the little aspect of the backstory of why Chloe was going the town Belle Holly Creek and how it all engulfed together. It was so satisfying to see how her history tied into Jacob and how they came about their arrangements. Everything fit together seamlessly.
Also, I really enjoyed the storyline between Tucker and Rickie. Since Rickie is Chloe's best friend and business partner, their dynamic was amazing. In fact, the side characters left me deeply intrigued for the future! I am dying to see if the author continues the story by giving Aubrey—Jacob’s other cousin—her own love story next. I would absolutely love to see her find romance right from that tree farm in California!

Time to step into the perfect read that gets you in the mood for the holidays. What better place to start than with JB and his Christmas tree farm that he co-owns with Tucker and Aubrey. Coalson’s Tree Farm has grown into something that they had hoped it would when they made a comment to Casey years ago and now Aubrey approaches them to buy another tree farm. Chloe made a reservation for the one place she has always wanted to stay. An Inn that has a different decorated tree in every room in a town that is the picture of the holiday season. What she doesn’t expect is the way her boyfriend ends things. Her best friend Rickie gets her to use the room anyway. The plan, they will use the room and also try and offer their services on the Inn’s website to show some upgrades. What they didn’t expect is to arrive and find out the room has been canceled. Enter JB, who was delivering trees to the Inn and leaves with two houseguests. I love how these two are both going through personal things with past relationships and yet you can see the simmer of sparks under the service and know that when they let go it will be the most beautiful firework. The holiday magic has its hand in helping these two and I love every single moment. JB has the most romantic side and there was not a moment I didn’t just love him. Chloe was perfect for JB. But also, I just adored her. I love how smart she is with not only her work but with those around her. This was a feel-good holiday romance story that just gets you ready for the season.
Holiday Rebound by Natasha Madison is a heartwarming contemporary romance filled with Christmas magic, humor, sizzling chemistry, and the possibility of finding love when life takes an unexpected turn. I really enjoyed how Chloe's story begins with heartbreak but gradually opens the door to something new. Her determination to enjoy her holiday despite everything she has been through makes her easy to root for. Jacob is equally appealing, with his guarded personality and the softer side that slowly emerges as Chloe becomes part of his world. Their interactions bring a fun balance of teasing, emotional moments, and romantic tension. The Christmas tree farm and the festive small town create a cozy atmosphere that makes this story especially enjoyable during the holiday season. One of my favorite aspects is the contrast between Chloe's enthusiasm for Christmas and Jacob's reluctance to embrace the season. Their growing connection gives the romance a satisfying warmth, while the humor and supporting characters add personality to the story. Readers who love holiday romances with emotional healing, strong chemistry, and a little chaos will find plenty to enjoy here. I recommend this book to fans of small-town romance, grumpy heroes, festive settings, and stories about rebuilding confidence after heartbreak. It is a lovely choice for anyone looking for a lighthearted yet emotional Christmas read.
A grumpy sunshine romance. Wonderful characters. Hard to put down. A bit of a slow burn, but the attraction has been there from the beginning. Chloe's BFF. Rikki, takes an instant attraction to Tucker, who volunteers his BFF (JB's) house to the women who are left with no hotel room. Chloe, of course, is hesitant to stay with a stranger, but Rikki talks her into it... at least for the one night. When Rikki and Tucker start spending time together, it leaves Chloe and JB alone. Despite his gruffness and reluctance to have strangers staying in his home, he soon finds he is enjoying their (her) company more than he thought he would, and she fits in with the town more than some of the locals. She has that quick wit and always ready with a sassy response, that he loves. He may have the outward appearance of a moody lumberjack, but he is willing to help out in the community when needed, even if reluctantly. One of the things I appreciated about this story, was that there wasn't a lot of time spent on the fact that she was going to be leaving soon and they would be miles apart. It was mentioned a few times, but it didn't really play a part in how their relationship played out. There wasn't too much agony over the 'expiration date' of the relationship. There was a mini 3rd act break-up scene, but it was quickly resolved. There was steam. There was laughs. There was an annoying ex (or two.) Lots of Christmas cheer. :D It alternates POVs. Sexual content intended for mature readers.
Chloe recently broke up with her cheating boyfriend. After she purchased tickets the most perfect Christmas town for a couples trip, naturally. She decides to go on the trip with her best friend to find the reservations she booked were cancelled by said ex boyfriend.
As luck would have it, JB is there and he not so willingly offers for Chloe and Rickie to stay with him.
Rickie hits it off with JBs cousin, Tucker, immediately. Theresa was some insta love there!
There is NO insta love with JB and Chloe. JB is skeptical and grumpy where Chloe is a bit grumpy after her breakup with Brian.
As time goes on, Chloe’s and JBs attraction grows. JB starts feeling more like himself and starts putting more of his things around his house. (His ex previously packed them away, she’s also terrible).
I don’t want to give away any spoilers but there are a few misunderstandings and miscommunications that lead to some issues between Chloe and JB.
There is a happily ever after for them and I LOVE how their story ended. I’m a sucker for a Christmas story, especially if it’s a Natasha Madison story!
I also LOVED seeing Asher and Amelia, JBs parents, from Southern Secrets, in this story! I’m also a sucker so cameos from previous stories!!
Holiday Rebound is the perfect read for this time of year! It may only be November, but I'm now well and truly in the spirit of Christmas. This is a story I honestly didn't want to put down and one that brought out ALL the feels in me. The setting for JB and Chloe's romance was perfect, making this a book I would happily re-read every holiday season.
Not only are JB and Chloe fabulous protagonists, but they are surrounded by the best people in Tucker and Rickie, whose own romance warmed my heart. Rickie and Chloe truly are the best of friends, and I absolutely love the family dynamics between JB, Tucker and Aubrey.
This wouldn't be a Natasha Madison novel without a visit from characters from her previous series, and this time we get to catch up with Amelia and Asher, whose story can be found in Southern Secrets. I absolutely LOVE that she does this, especially as I have read every single book Ms. Madison has published, meaning all these characters already have a special place in my heart.
Holiday Rebound is such a cute, heart-warming read and the perfect example of how a grumpy/sunshine and forced proximity romance should be written. Just when I thought JB and Chloe were finally settled, another bump in the road came along, keeping me completely hooked. And as for JB... OH MY WORD! I absolutely swooned over him during certain scenes. Chloe is one very lucky leading lady!!
This is such a cute and wonderful holiday romance. When Chloe is jilted by her boyfriend of nearly a year, she decides to go on the Christmas trip she planned for their anniversary with her best friend instead. JB comes off as a gruff guy, but really he feels deeply and does so much for those that he loves. I loved the friendships portrayed in this book nearly as much as the main love story!
Holiday Rebound was the perfect small town romance with a picturesque Christmas setting. It gives Hallmark Christmas vibes but make it rated X. I adored this story and the side characters' love stories. Definitely read if you want a cute and cozy holidays romance with just the right amount of spice!

Savannah Peachwood and Gregory Salinas complemented each other beautifully and did such an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and definitely recommend it.
