The pacing felt off but the character interaction were great. It does flip between the past and the present more than once so you have to pay attention to make sure you are thinking about the right things but the back and forth make since. Through out the book I really felt for Lucy. All of the characters were great and did contribute to the story in some way even if they made you mad(which is great writing if they can). The emotions were there and it was in fact a role roster that I would read again.

I'm so grateful to have received an ARC. I adored book 1 of Love In The Bay, so jumped at the chance to read an ARC of book 2. What a book "Insert happy crying face".

I honestly adored this book. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, heartwarming and just lovely overall. I related to so many things that it brought tears to my eyes often.
I immersed myself into the world of Ask Another Day, and wish I could keep reading it for the first time. It was cosy, charming and simple. No parts that weren't needed. It was all there and simply perfect to me.

It was the warm, comfortable hug I so needed after a tough day, and I keep thinking back to it, fondly.

The characters are delightful (Most of them). The setting is to die for. The friends to lovers trope is *Mwah*. The writing is simple, sweet and easy to follow.

The questionable character and their choices really made me feel a lot of things. Having been through similar, it hit home in ways I haven't felt for a long time. But through our MFC's journey, I felt seen, heard and validated. We helped each other through it as I read the pages of her becoming exactly who she was meant to me.

I just loved the end so much. I may have shed another little tear of happiness. Two wonderful characters getting what they so deserve.
