High-end escort Audrey Reynolds is determined to protect billionaire James Preston from anything that could hurt him--including her.
Everything changes when James tells her his real feelings.
When James's mother steps in, Audrey has to decide if being with James is worth the risk. She wants to protect him, and James wants to be with her, but can they find a happily ever after together--and in one piece?
Note: This is PART 3 of the Escorting the Billionaire three-part series. This book is novella length (29,000 words).
USA Today and Amazon Top-10 Bestselling Author Leigh James is currently sitting on a white-sand beach, watching the sunset, dreaming up her next billionaire. Get ready, he's going to be a HOT one!
Just kidding! Leigh is actually freezing her butt off in Maine, USA, where she lives with her awesome husband, their great kids, and her BFF Choco the chocolate lab. But she promises that billionaire is REALLY going to be something!
Her books have been translated into German, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Leigh also writes Young Adult Paranormal Romance as Leigh Walker. Her smash-hit series Vampire Royals was previously optioned by Netflix.
The final installment of the series brings us complete closure! After the ending of book two I really needed this book to deliver with a stellar epi.
So we’ve been tossed around a bit by the back and forth of these two... James fighting his feelings, Audrey trying to be selfless and finally we see a united front being formed. But it isn’t just her profession they have to face. James’ mother is proving to be far more dangerous and crazy than anyone ever imagined. With everything at risk, she doesn’t seem to be willing to back down to allow her son to get the girl of his dreams, but that’s okay because James has a plan.
I was a little bit shocked by the turn of events in the final installment of this one. A bit of it felt a tad bit too much, but it still allowed me to enjoy the story and honestly, his mother having a complete about-face would have been out of place. I think what I loved most about the final installment was the epilogue. I think with given how short these serials can be, often times the epi is overlooked and for a romance reader, I think this is one of our most favorite parts of a story. It’s our closure – our time to celebrate all the angst, drama and stress of the initial chase/catch scenario of a story to just have a few unguarded swoontastic moments with the characters that put us through hell.
This was my first set of books by this author and I can honestly say that I am very interested in picking up her other titles. This was a quick, fun read that kept my attention and actually left me needing to finish all three parts in one sitting.
Received a copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Ms. Leigh James
Such an enjoyable read. This is a light, easy read. I really like the romance and great developments. Though it is a bit cliche, I'm still entertained with the drama.
It’s the end of the series! And the best part is the author ARCd them!!! I feel so special eeekkk I try to avoid serials because I want it all at once!! And I got it!! Eek!!! This story is what comes after I quit! Audrey: After James made love to me, and another powerful orgasm had wracked my body, I knew what I had to do. This is there part where the heroine tells the hero that she loves him, and they live happily ever after. Unfortunate this wasn’t a movie. This was my life and there was no happy ending in sight. I knew going in this was the end. There were so many questions and little stories and supporting characters I wasn’t ready to let go of. So this book was bittersweet for me. I don’t even know how to write this review… wow I really wish the issues with their mothers was a longer situation it seemed to just clean up too easily for me. But I really loved the epilogue. The book felt complete there is no need for a spinoff or a book 2. It was everything you needed. This series evoked every emotion and it couldn’t have been written better
Amazing series!! I laughed a lot. Ugly cried at several moments, but just for a second. This book wrapped up the series perfectly!! The two co-stars Cole and Jenny are hysterical! I wish they were going to get a story, but things for them pretty much panned out completely right along side of Audrey and James story. I fell in love, love, hearts and flowers, in love with the H and h. It was kind of refreshing that Audrey is somewhat of a sex machine and knows exactly what she's doing in between the sheets. As opposed to being virginal, innocent, not experienced, blah blah blah... It was hot and it was good :)
Omg! , such a great ending! Audrey has fallen in love with James, but she knows she does not fit in his world , and when his mother throws out threats , she will do anything to protect James and her own family. James mother machinations Onky serves to push James closer to Audrey and owning up to his own feelings for her. Inthened incomes down to James formulating the best safetyne against his mother. And I a happy to say. Does she ever get hers. I know I am again being vague but the plot line twist and turns deserve the reveal the author gives them and somake this last in the series a winner!
Well damn!! Wasn't that an amazing end to a great series! I didn't think that anymore drama could happen between his couple but I was so wrong. Add to the mix their crazy family and it leaves you with a story that is exciting and tense. I loved the way that all the little stories within this story ended, that people finally got what they deserved....good and bad! I thought this book...no this series was fantastic! Well done!
I really enjoyed this series one of the best ones in a long time good ending don't want to give anything away so please read it I know you will enjoy it very much I did margie
This series is wildly unrealistic and takes insta-love to new and ridiculous heights...yet I was entertained AF. I liked both James and Audrey even though they aren't relatable at all. The side characters aren't either. Like not one of them is realistic except perhaps Todd.
There is a LOT of sex. I'm not a prude in anyway, so when I start skimming past sex scenes that means it's OTT. But again, the books are entertaining and kept me interested overall. It's definitely a light, fluffy read but it is broken up into 3 short books. Rating it 3.5 stars and rounding up to 4.
Ok, so I was a little disappointed with the final book. I loved book 1, like book 2, but book 3 was a little annoying. The back and forth, your fired, I quit mumbo jumbo was getting old as well as the games. The best part of book 3 was the epilogue. The 5 year peak into there lives as parents and still meeting on the island with there best friends, James and Audrey, Cole and Jenny, Todd and Evie.
Okay, so I sorted got tricked into reading this three part series, but it’s so short it was a pretty fast read. I rarely read romance and erotica, and although this story was basically Pretty Woman with more descriptive sex scenes, it was kinda fun to read. Like watching a halfway decent porn. A cheesy, predictable, completely unrealistic fantasy, but when executed properly it serves a pleasant function and brief escape from reality.
Book three is the perfect ending in the "Escorting the Billionaire" trilogy. There are no loose ends with all of the crisis and situations being resolved. Audrey and James are in the Caribbean for his brother's honeymoon except who invites people on their honeymoon? Anyway, once again Audrey and James' mother continue to cause chaos and problems for the couple and let's face it, Audrey's tawdry background causes her self doubt on the grandest of scales. However, this time Audrey suspects James' mother to be responsible for the vilest of crime. The question is will anyone believe her?
As the unlikely couple work through their issues, their family drama, and betrayal they will have to see if the relationship they are trying to build is strong enough to handle the drama coming their way. I enjoyed this read and series even though the situations posed in the pages were so very far away from any type of reality. Additionally, I thought the epilogue was a nice added touch. If you want to get away from reality in the pages of a romantic read, this series very well might be the one for you. I will warn you, it us not an epic drama, it is just plain old fun!
You remember "Pretty Woman", the hooker and the Billionaire? This series has some minor similarities. But the story of James and Audrey is so much more. Audrey is a good kind and generous sister who despite an absolutely totally obnoxious scrum of the earth parent manages to become a truly admirable human being and proves the theory to not only James but everyone she touches that being a paid escort is a job. If the thing you do best in your job is sexual oh well, it is like being able to keyboard 90 words a minute or construct a robot out of tin cans. A viable talent that people will pay good money for. This series exposes the truly ugly people of the world and shows the old adage... Never judge a book by it's cover... or in this decade ... The rich and famous and the poor and needy all have their good and evil. Start at the beginning read the whole series. Laugh, cry, and enjoy the Love of James, and Audrey, Todd, and Evie, Cole, and Jenny .
I loved Part 3 of this series. This book is a lot like "Pretty Woman" meets "50 Shades of Gray." I loved James and Audrey, and thoroughly loved hating their mothers. I also loved the fact that although James was a billionaire there wasn't a lot of over the top rich things thrown in such as gold and diamond beer mugs. Do they even exist?
Anyway, a great read. I think you'll enjoy it. But please, I beg of you, if you don't like this new Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, etc type of publishing, say something. Maybe the publishers will listen. We adore our books and will continue buying them, but maybe just this once they could listen to our wishes.
I loved reading Escorting the Billionaire #3 (The Escort Collection), all about James Preston a gorgeous billionaire & Audrey his sexy escort/pretend girlfriend. In book three James & Audrey are in the Bahamas celebrating the honeymoon of his younger brother Todd & his wife Evie along with the rest of the extended family! The author wrote an incredible story that has included three books, and the characters have made all three books come life! Many things happen in book three, that you won't want to miss! Things are heating up for all concerned,so check out this hot series!
So far we've watched Audrey and James fight their feelings for each other, but James finally admits his feelings for her, and he convinces her to stop trying to leave him.
It comes at a perfect time too, because they find out that her mother isn't the only one that's crazy... James' mom shows her true colors when she threatens Audrey.
Together, they put up a united front against all the forces of evil that are trying to keep them apart. I enjoyed the ending, it was a cute happily ever after moment for everyone.
This is the first time I read a book by this author, Leigh James. By chance, I was reading the description of the book, and I decided to buy it. Really great series! The final book of The Escort Collection series continues with the story of Audrey and James, which delves deeper into their relationship—their chemistry is inevitable. Audrey and James finally admit their love for each other—love conquers all! The story has a really fit ending for both Audrey’s mother and James’ mother. This book will pique your interest.
I totally adored this story; it was like candy - sweet and satisfying. I tore through all three parts of this novel and just loved it. I loved the slow-building relationship between Audrey and James, and I loved the rest of the characters.
I definitely want to read more from Leigh James in the future! I loved the build of the plot in Escorting the Billionaire, and I loved the character development!
Review to come: I just wanted to get my numbers for the year updated but fighting the flu and not in my right mind. Lol, anyway review to come!
This is a review for parts 1-3. I enjoyed them a great deal. The story parts were hot and steamy but had a great storyline. I just did not love part 3. It seemed so random that all of the sudden we have the word murder being thrown around. I thought that part was kind of not necessary I could have lived without it other than that a pretty good serial.
This book series has been my favorite in such a long time. I love that the author was able to tap in on such heartache and pain and yet beautifully write about it, we all have issues with our Mothers and I'm sure my daughter's have issues with me as well. This book linked family together in a way that was an inspiration to forgive.
Loved how this book tied everything off it was just how I wished, would of loved a longer more detailed epilogue but hey ho I'm just GREEDY lol!!!!
So glad James finally gave in to his feeling and his "emotional boner"!! And I'm also over the moon that he made Audrey realise she was good enough for him and only him coz you can't help who/when you fall in love!!!
The drama continues. This story has more family meddling than any story I have read. Talk about mothers or mothers-in-law from hell! How this couple endured these mothers and came out sane is a wonder.
I thought is was a great series, and could easily been four parts instead of three. Very, romantic with a happy ending.
I thought the bestie escort ALSO falling in love with her "John" was a bit too pat - but cute. No so believable, but whatever.
Also the little brother and his ... love/not love. Ah well, sometimes you take the bad with the good in romanceland. Cute story - quick read, I'd go one and two together and forget the rest.
After breaking up and then making up and then firing and rehiring, James convinces Audrey to go to the Bahamas to fulfill their agreement... but then they fall in love. And then they face the wrath of James' mother.
I really hated the pat ending... but glad there was an HEA for all three couples.
OMG!!! I'm so excited to see how this all plays out! Just because you have money does not mean you have the best character. James's mother is on the verge of being dealt with and Audrey's trashy mother is being dealt with. These mothers put the D in drama. The escort and galzillionaire have teamed up and its about to get real!
Loved the ending!!! I was still a little confused by how they got Audrey's mom on their team, but to be honest, I didn't care. I just liked that Mrs. Preston got what was coming to her. That epilogue was everything.

Great story line, twists and turns. At times, it was hard to imagine the main characters having a happy ending but they did. I liked that we got a glimpse of their lives years later. This is the first book I have read from this author but it will not be the last.
Great story line and I enjoyed all the characters. Couldn't put it down and had to get rest once I started! Read all three books you won't be disappointed. Not only do you get a hot sexy billionaire but also a suspense that will leave you relaying.
