Book 3 in the Red Masks series

Sakura wants to learn the ancient Japanese Tea Ceremony to please her parents. It’s the least she can do since she intends to refuse the marriage they have arranged for her to a man she has never met. Unfortunately, the only person in Charleston, South Carolina, who knows the ceremony is a masked bondage Master at a local BDSM club. He’s willing to teach her in exchange for her complete sexual submission.

When she meets Ian, her chosen fiancé, she has no idea he is her masked Master. By night, Sakura’s submissive side blossoms as she explores the dark realms of sexual release with her Master. By day, she is increasingly drawn to the other man, whose easygoing disposition is starting to win her over to the idea of marriage.

Will Ian be able to bind her broken heart after she learns that he has deceived her?

Sakura, growing up in the United States, has not learned many Japanese customs. Her parents have been trying to set up an arranged marriage and she intends to squash that notion real quick. This isn't the Dark Ages you know! She feels that learning the ancient Japanese Tea Ceremony would be the kindest thing she could do for her parents to soften the blow. When she inquires about learning it, she finds the only person in her area is a masked Rope Master at the local BDSM club. He agrees to teach her on the condition she explore her darker sexual fantasies with him in submission.

Once Sakura comes face to face with her intended, Ian, she has no idea this is the same Master teaching her at night. She is drawn to Ian, whose funny and laid back personality is so appealing by day, and her Master's sexual touch, that's so explosive by night. What happens when Sakura learns she has been duped by Ian all along? That they are one in the same?? Can he mend her shattered heart??

I loved this short story! Binding Cherry Blossoms is book 3 in the Red Masks series but it is a standalone story. It was so endearing that Sakura wanted to take the time to learn the tradition for her parents. She knew it would be tough on them declining her arranged marriage and thought the ceremony would take some of the sting of refusal away. I loved Ian! Obviously we know he is both people, but as Ian he is caring, funny, a bit goofy. The whole Kit Kat bars in 80 flavors I though was exaggerated until I went on Amazon and it is true! When he flips the switch and is Master or Bakushi, he is hard-core, specific in his lessons, and amazingly sexy! Sakura is drawn to each persona for different reasons, but is torn knowing she can't live with just one type of man. If you are looking for a quick read that is a bit different from the norm, this Gia Dawn book is it. It's a delightful and endearing read!
