Reading Ernest et Celestine with my daughter reminded me of this delightful graphic novel that made me so warm and fuzzy inside in my brief dip into depression in the summer. E&C and Nancy the Cat are both just darn adorable that it's difficult to say anything harsh to them except that I just wished there was more forthcoming. This interspecies altruism crossing the prey/predator boundary reminds us of how petty human beings can be with their insignificant division of their own species.
