I absolutely loved this sweet little cozy small town romance. I love a grumpy sunshine and enemies to lovers story. Maya and Garrett’s relationship seriously gave me everything I wanted in a romance. Their banter was so much fun especially once they started realizing they actually had a lot more in common than either of them thought.

I loved the bookstore setting, the small town vibe… that whole mystery with the old love letters. It added something really fun to the story without ever taking the focus off the romance. This is such a wholesome slow burn kind of book. And Garrett is that classic grumpy guy who shows how he feels through what he does instead of big speeches… which is pretty much my FAVE type of hero.

The whole thing just has this warm feel good atmosphere, and I really enjoyed watching Maya go from being ready to leave Plum Ridge to realizing maybe she’d found a place she actually wanted to stay. I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the series because I’m not ready to leave Plum Ridge yet!
