The bookshops – virtual and physical – are literally packed with this stuff; much of it conflicting with each other and everyday life, resulting in questions or confusion. Rowan says that this is down to poor Oral Transmission; in other words, getting the wrong end of the stick (the poo end), and he attempts to demystify it all for us.
Having painstakingly searched the web for the most popular, reoccurring questions and misconceptions, Rowan answers them and more.
I tried using LOA to win the lottery but I’m still as poor! So that didn’t work. What a con. How does an abused child create their reality? Why do bad things happen to people? Surely they don’t attract a car accident/a robbery/an assault? If you can just think things into existence, why are there so many starving people in Africa? Why can’t people with terminal diseases make themselves well with LOA? What about the thousands of people who die via earthquakes, tsunamis and tornadoes? How do they manifest that into their lives?
Written with a brash, no B***S***, comical approach; in a very unique style. This is unlike any ‘Law of Attraction’ book you’ve ever read before. With passages ‘Blow the crap out of lingering doubt’, ‘Up yours, science dudes’, and ‘Feeling like fackin’ rainbows are flying out of my butt awesome’, you know what you’re getting yourself into.
Rowan Collins takes the content very seriously, though, and with over two decades of research, and implementing the concepts in his own life, talks about ‘Manifesting’ with authority and passion, including some stuff you’ll find difficult to come across in other ‘Co-Creators’, ‘Living the Feeling’, and ‘Is This True?’.
It’s safe to say that the self-help market is saturated with gumpf. But if you could have only one book on the ‘Law of Attraction’, it should definitely be this one. Oh, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on meeting Bob now, would you?
I felt for a writer who wanted it to be concise it was a bit of a ramble on at times. I found some points interesting, but I have manifested 4 of my last hours specifically and i therefore didn't agree with the "don't be specific" rule. I didn't like the format of the book much, it distracted me from the points trying to be made.
I consider myself to be a practitioner of LOA, read much and used the concept, but this little book is a shot in the arm to all of us who think we've read the book, got the Tee Shirt. The attitude of the book shook up my jaded "stuff" and reminded me of the joy LOA can bring. Really enjoyed it, big gratitude to Rowan!
Amazing - thanks Bob :) I have started my thank you journal - let's see how we can do this now.
I have read a few of these types of books and generally live a lucky and thankful life - this book has fine tuned some of the rules and made it a little easier to digest - I loved it
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I have read a lot of LOA books and this is one which stands out due to its simplicity and writing style. If anyone doesn't yet fully understand the LOA but wants to implement it in their life I would certainly recommend this book!
Brilliant book if you like LOA and self help kind of books. Rowan has a no nonsense attitude towards LOA which is very refreshing and very easy to understand. His humour is great and makes the book light hearted and fun to read. I have read this book twice now and as it isnt hugely long, you can use it to refresh your memory or use it as reference to your favourite chapters. Love this guys humour!
This is a concise account of LOA and gets straight to the point in simple terminology It's great that its around an hour to read has a summary at the end which you can carry around or stick on your phone as a reminder Very enjoyable
Tries to be different but really seems to have been written by a 30 year old aimed at teenagers. LAO - life is what you believe it is- good or bad it's up to you
Enjoyed the simplicity and the breaking down of the principles blah blah blah, gfs Amazon demands I wrote 18 words for my review. Won't be reviewing any more
