Highly recommend this devotional-writing resource!
Lee Warren uses examples from his own devotional-writing experiences to produce this awesome resource for devotional writers. He explains each important aspect of his own writing process. And he offers great examples for the reader to apply to his own project. Very helpful if you are considering the possibility of writing your own devotional book or helping someone else with a devotional project.
Great book with lots of helpful and practical suggestions. Lee has a heart for God and for writing devotionals, and it comes through so clearly in his writing. Definitely recommend!
Write That Devotional Book offers excellent advice to writers who are just getting their feet wet writing devotions and for those of us who have been writing them for years.
Although there was much about the book I already knew about publishing, I was happy to finally see one person's (the author's) description of the difference between "devotion" and "devotional." Even old hands can learn new tricks.
Especially for authors who are new to the genre or those new to publishing, I would highly recommend the book.
This book on writing devotions demonstrates techniques and ideas for writing devotions that will both move people and be more likely to move off the shelves. I definitely recommend this book.
