Savage is dark, sharp, and unexpectedly funny. Sloane, a vengeance-driven killer, and Lucy, a whimsical artist and barista, couldn’t be more different—and that contrast is the beating heart of the book. Their duality creates fantastic tension and chemistry, making the story feel both deliciously dark and wickedly witty. What I loved most is that neither character is reduced to a simple opposite of the other. Their differences reveal surprising layers of vulnerability, tenderness, and humor, while the mutual pining makes their relationship even more compelling. Lennox balances brutality with wit in a way that keeps the darker moments powerful without making the story feel relentlessly heavy. Twisted, clever, and strangely heartfelt, Savage is perfect for readers who enjoy sapphic dark romance, morally gray women, and love stories with teeth. I loved it and can’t wait to read whatever Masyn Lennox writes next.
