Lady S. #3

by Jean Van Hamme

Suzan Fitzroy is in Sweden, where her adopted father is filling in for the American Ambassador. The most exciting prospect on her agenda is the Nobel Prize ceremony. But her quiet life in Stockholm is disrupted when the mysterious Orion, the secretive anti-terror agent, contacts her: He has another job for her. The “simple task” turns into something much more complex, and before long Suzan is deeply involved in a conspiracy that has links to her past–and to her heart.

Reviews

[Mirnes Alispahić]

Plot looks like something out of James Bond movie, Pierce Brosnan period comes to mind for some reason, only it's not Bond, but Lady S. And that cheesy love story... Got to love these comics. However, my main problem is drawing. It feels I'm reading XIII all over again or any other comic book that I grew up with in the late '90s. Ayman even makes everything look late '70s or '80s, even though it's happening in early 2000's. But maybe that was the publisher's idea, to wake nostalgic feelings for fans of XIII whom Lady S is a female counterpart, sort of.

weakest of the serie so far.

Rereading this Spy series and I think this is my favourite of the first 3 volumes. I like the setting

Otra absorbente trama de espionaje una vez entras en el juego de Van Hamme, bien narrado y ambientado por Aymond.

There is better in this BD series.
