I’ve been waiting years for this memoir, and it was so much more than I ever expected. I genuinely didn’t want it to end.

With wit, emotion, and humour, Albert proves to be a wonderful storyteller. From sharing his upbringing in communist Hungary to embracing a nothing-to-lose mentality and giving life everything he’s got, his story is a testament to perseverance, taking chances, and what can happen when you refuse to give up. And then there are the unabashed, behind-the-scenes stories of what it really takes to own a B&B! Secretly holding out hope for a sequel ;)

I could have read this forever!! From a compelling evocation of his childhood through the evolution of his youth to the quirky adventures in his B&B, this book is an absolute delight. I have rarely read a book this tender, clever, funny and sweet. Such whimsy! I hope he keeps writing... and opens another B&B!
