This is the first beginner reader book I have ever read. I think it does a good job introducing reading to someone. The pictures are nice and introduce a variety of animals. Maybe Sooki is learning how to be comfortable in his own saggy baggy skin.

I read this book with my two & a half year old niece. It was a recommendation from Goodreads. Here is her review: She doesn't know what she thinks of it. She gave it 3 stars but forgot what happens in the story. She doesn't know why you would read this book again but overall liked it.
I thought it was a weird story. I would give it 2 stars.

There was a little elephant who was quite happy until he was teased about his saggy, baggy skin. He tried to change it but nothing worked. It wasn't until he needed help from other elephants that he realized that there is nothing wrong with the skin he is in! Cute story and great illustrations.

Awe poor Elephant just wants to fit in. However, his skin makes it hard since he's not like the other animals. My son thought all the little animals were cute and I loved the story line!
