Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Olaf the snowman, and the stars from Disney Frozen are back in an all-new magical chapter book series that’s perfect for girls and boys ages 6 to 10.
Anna and Elsa discover Elsa’s secret admirer and make a new friend in the process. Nothing earth shattering in the story, but Lily read two sentences all by herself, which makes it special to me!
David, Erica The Secret Admirer (Anna & Elsa: Sisterhood Is the Strongest Magic #7), illustrated by Bill Robinson, Manuela Razzi, Francesco Legramandi, and Gabriella Matta. CHAPTER BOOK. Random House, 2016. $9.99. Content: G.
When Elsa begins receiving mysterious gifts, she realizes she has a secret admirer. Soon Anna and Olaf are on the case, too, using their sleuthing powers to find out the admirer's identity.
At 118 pages this chapter book feels solid, but the larger text and many pictures add plenty of help for those working their way up into longer stories. Although it is part of a series, it stands alone well. It's perhaps not the most complex or lyrical of stories, but the writing is serviceable, and the Frozen theme will attract an audience.
This was such a cute book! Anna and Olaf investigate the mystery of Elsa's secret admirer and eventually Elsa joins them in the quest to discover who has been leaving Arendelle's queen presents. I loved this book, it made me smile a lot. The pictures were so pretty and adorable. So glad I read it! I love Disney books.
Read just because I wanted to. This is actually a cute series and would be great for young readers. The awesome thing is that the stories build on each other, so a character from Book 3 is mentioned to be visiting soon in this book. I'm going to continue to read these fast adorable stories. Nice little break from all the reading challenges. Would recommend!
This book was ok and moved and a great speed. It wasn't too fast but it wasn't too slow either. There was part of a chapter that was confusing and hard to figure out exactly what the author meant but for the most part the book wasn't too bad. It definitely could have been better though.
Me and my 7 year old daughter read this together and she loved it! Can't say I'm surprised as she loves all things Frozen. She gives it 5 stars! I am more inclined to give it 4 stars.
Beginning chapter book for grades 1-4. I like that this was a mystery story and Olaf is entertaining as the comic relief. My daughter is in first grade and she enjoyed it.
I'm only reading these books for research. the book was decent, but isn't really interesting for a 15 year old. Again, i'm only reading these books for research, for the movie Frozen.
Honestly, i was very excited to read it and I'm not disappointed. As a 16 y.o. person I love how it was written and how the story goes. It was fun and interesting to know who is that person who has sent these gifts for our Elsa. There was a lot of things that we couldn't know just watching movies and some short cartoons. Also there is no little written words(And i think it has written in medium size), so, that is easy and comfortable to read for little kids. There is also has a bunch of black and white illustrations. In general, It was an amazing journey with our beloved characters named Anna, Elsa and Olaf. My little 6-years-old sister also liked this story and she also laughed a lot. So, i think i can highly recommend this book for the first reading and for kids that love the movies "The Frozen" and some short cartoons. Exactly 5/5.
Not the best of these books, but still a fun story trying to figure out who is leaving Elsa secret gifts. A nice little hint towards Elsa not being interested in romance.
