This series just gets better and better. This time Erin and Villeneuve are brought into investigate the murder of a legal student. The lack of camera coverage means they are really working in the dark with nothing to work on. The victim seemingly has no enemies but gradually Erin manages to get more information that seems to link the murder to an ongoing political corruption trial.
I loved the setting and the fear that Villeneuve in particular distils amongst the upper echelons due to a big political event also happening in the area at the same time so they are keen to keep her at arm's length away from the politicians and the trial. It was great fun to read as everything seems to point somehow in this direction and the subsequent attack on the politician on trial definitely links the two events. I love the banter and humour throughout and the title of the book really draws you in. A brilliant read and I can't wait to come back for more.
