I really enjoyed this book. Well developed characters and a mystery that was solid and interesting. I look forward to the next book in the series.

I enjoyed this slightly unusual cozy. The author has decided to branch away from the usual cozy mystery, where there is a murder to solve. Instead the story is about when the human world and the supernatural collide. Not in the sense that the world explodes but what happens when a human picks up on the fact that his business partner hasn't changed and in fact the photos are all of the same man.
It's Bex's job to come up with a reasonable explanation for the Vampires history. With her own vampire as her assistant and a polergist doing some unusual fling some how it works and it is entertaining. This is the second book in the series and it does work as a standalone but I think the first book gives you a good understanding of what to expect from the series.
We get more back story with this book about Antoine the vampire, which adds to the drama and tension and nope it's not creepy. I just love Cloyce, the polergist, I must admit I don't always understand what he is going on about but his Labrador personality keeps me chuckling. Bex is a good main character and can get the job done. I can't wait for the next book.

When a man wants to buy out his business partner he hires a forensic accountant, who quickly picks up on the fact that every photo of the business partner through the generations looks the same. That's easy to explain he's a vampire but it's Bex's job to keep the humans from learning the truth. Things are complicated in the office between the new client and her assistant and the history between them goes a long way back. Can Bex negotiate the office tension and come up with an an explanation for the family resemblance that a very smart human will except?

Bex helps the supernatural residents of Copperhaven fit in unnoticed by humans. Not always an easy job for example she is trying to get approval or a moat to be built around the outer edges of his basement. As a dragon, Mr. Oort needs stretching space. Applications are rejected often until she can find the right wording that satisfies human building inspectors with out revealing the supernatural community. This present case is a business with two partners. One is human the other is a six hundred vampire and human Gram wants to buy out vampire Voss. There is much amiss and Bex, Cloyce and Antoine have to work an angle that will satisfy the forensic accountant's question of why all the past Voss men look exactly alike. They cannot reveal the truth, but they cannot lie. What they will try is redirect the concerns and attention elsewhere. This was even better that the last one. We are getting to know more about Bex and friends.

Hilarious!

This book is a non-stop comedy. Bex Moore has the patience of a saint. She has a vampire for an assistant who finds answering phones annoying, and a clerk who files based on the emotional weight of paper one hour and reorganizes everything by astrology the next. I like the idea of a town where the human town folk’s brains simply refuse to “see” the supernatural activity going on all around them.

This book is an excellent addition to the series. The characters are well-drawn. Humor is abundant, but there are also serious moments to balance out the storyline. I received an advance copy, but my review is honest and voluntary.

Bad Blood, Bad Faith Book 2 of The Supernatural Consultant Files by Paula Lester is an excellent addition to this series! This book is non-stop laughter with some serious moments to balance things out. I love the characters and the premise of a new kind of cozy with no murder mystery but with Bex FMC helping the supernatural community integrate with the human community unnoticed...let's see how that goes! Highly recommended!!

Bex and her office team are back and must fix the paperwork for an old vampire with a human business partner. The situation and light drama was a hoot as they figure out how to fix the issue.. Plus learn more about these characters. Overall, while there is not a lot of action, it is still addicting and drew me in to see what chaos would pop up. entertaining.

Delightfully entertaining. This series just tickles my fancy. It is hilarious and serious at the same time. I admire Bex immensely for her ability to deal with Cloyce with a serious and straight face. I would probably be rolling on the floor howling with laughter. This was such a fun read that I wish the author could write faster! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Off Beat and Great

Characters, plot, fantastical creatures of the other realm and more. Main characters have issues. They are lovable because they are not perfect. Nice mystery plots, but not like regular mysteries. Read both of them. Important to read in order. This is the second book.

This series is VERY entertaining!

It has charming characters, all kinds of supernatural creatures, and just lots of fun. Best of all no cliffhanger endings.
So, curl up in a comfy reading chair with a pot of tea and enjoy. But, don’t laugh too loud a disturb anyone else who may be near.
