This is a very short book, more like a pamphlet really, that contains nothing new. Most of the ideas read like those "lifestyle" YouTube videos, full of advice on how to make drawers out of boxes, for example.

How much genius does it take to put shelves on every square inch of unused wall?

good tips

What I like about this book is that it is realistic and not going for a staged magazine minimalist look. Author assumes you have stuff and no place to put it all instead of acting like you can declutter everything you own so you don’t need more space!

Sadly, "Enlarge Your Small Space 20+ Clever Storage Ideas That Will ..." is one of these half-baked efforts to publish a book.

The book features the "usual suspect" ideas, "Store stuff under your bed", "under-sink organizers" etc... Personally, I don't believe that there is anybody who doesn't know that. Let's not forget the many department stores (eg. Target) come out with "college-dorm-packages," every year. Even freshman college students who may (!) have never lifted a finger, know most of this information.

That being said, had there been some really cool pictures this book could have impressed. Go to Pinterest and search for "1000+ ideas for under bed storage and be impressed."

Born and bred in Vienna, I really appreciated the author's idea "drape magazines over dowel rods." It imitates one of the classical ideas how we store magazines and newspapers in Viennese coffee houses. Then again, it's 2016! Readers who live in a small house (like I do) can read publications online - which is what I do!

Clearly, the author has not thought through the concept.
But, I'll give the book 2-stars b/c it featured one idea I had never seen: " Stow it under your sofa."
Anybody who is looking for storage ideas will probably be better served reading another book. Not recommended!

Good idea but lacks substance.

This book had some good ideas and was an easy, quick read. However, I was disappointed that there were no directions for the projects, no pictures, and no links to find more information. I was glad I picked it up on a free promotional. I would have been even more disappointed if I'd paid for it.
