Ce manga traînait dans ma PAL depuis près d’un an et pour bien commencer 2018, je me suis dit « quoi de mieux que de commencer la relique de ma PAL manga ? ».

L’histoire commence avec Shiori, une lycéenne qui se réveille amnésique et qui ne reconnaît plus aucun de ses proches.

Elle va devoir réapprendre à vivre et à connaître sa famille et ses amis, mais aussi à se connaître elle-même. Elle ne comprend pas pourquoi sa propre sœur Maho ne veut plus lui parler ni pourquoi parmi ses « amies » certaines ne font que médire à son sujet.

Elle découvre aussi qu’elle a un petit ami (qui m’a soit-dit en passant particulièrement agacée !) trop entreprenant et qui a du mal à comprendre qu’il va lui falloir du temps.

Le chemin sera long pour Shiori et même si elle aura envie de baisser les bras par moments, son grand frère Akio va tout faire pour la soutenir.

En bref, une lecture agréable bien que pas particulièrement originale. Je lirais la suite si j’en ai l’occasion.

Un manga ado plutôt sympa. Le dessin est agréable, le scénario assez classique est bien traité. Il y a des personnages secondaires intéressants et le twist à la fin donne envie d'en savoir plus.

Ricaco Iketani's second series to be translated into French follows Shiori, a teenager who sustained a head injury in an accident and lost her memories of her past. It's kind of a trite plot for YA, but Iketani makes it compelling as Shiori starts to learn that the person she was before might not be worth remembering. The only person who seems to truly care for her no matter who she is is her older brother Akio, and with his unwavering support Shiori comes to the decision that the person she was previously is not who she's going to be from now on...even as we start to suspect that this Shiori is closer to the "real" one than who she was pre-accident.

Shiori also deserves credit for showing the kind of smarts that you rarely get in a shoujo manga: when she hears multiple rumors that she was a teen prostitute, she marches herself down to the gynecologist to both get tested and find out if that's even a possibility. How many shoujo plots would be resolved quickly if the heroine had Shiori's street smarts...?

I wanted to start a new series since the book I have been reading is taking me A MONTH because of how many notes I need to type for it. So, I started a new manga series to compensate for the fact that I've been reading so slowly... Anyway, I wanted to read something from the author of Futago, and this series caught my eye! So far, it's pretty mediocre, but I don't have much to say on it besides that I'm not a fan of how the art style changed. The plot isn't that// bad, but with where the series is headed, I'm seriously terrified it will end like Vampire Knight (which I actually need to finish!!!). I'm not super hooked on the series, but I am curious what will happen next! I will say the pacing is pretty slow, which is good, but at the same time, sometimes it's too slow.

Un premier tome peu surprenant dans l'ensemble, avec un cheminement logique, mais certains éléments sont intéressants. L'héroïne qui traverse une épreuve délicate, réfléchit beaucoup et passe à l'acte si ça ne va pas, elle n'hésite pas à le dire aux personnes concernées. Elle évolue vraiment bien et fait bien face à sa perte de mémoire selon moi. J'ai eu du mal avec l'ensemble des personnages secondaires, aucun ne m'a vraiment plu et je vais avoir besoin de temps pour mieux les cerner. Le twist de fin donne très envie de savoir la suite, ma curiosité a été bien titillée. Au final, malgré les points négatifs, c'était bien sympa.
