ANDI

Growing up in a small town, my goal had always been to get out. I dreamed of dancing in a big city, but that dream was never supposed to lead me to Las Vegas. And being a stripper? That had never been part of the plan.

Still, I’d built myself a comfortable life—the kind of stability I never had growing up. After being disappointed too many times, I’d spent my adult life making sure I’d never end up back where I started. I had rules to protect my heart, especially when it came to men. The biggest one was simple: never sleep with the same man twice.

Sarcasm and a tough exterior had always been enough to keep people at a distance. Until Hunter came along.

He saw right through me—the walls, the rules, and the reasons behind them. Suddenly, I found myself caught between what my heart craved and everything I’d convinced myself I needed to stay safe. For the first time, I had to wonder if the rules I’d built my life around were protecting me… or keeping me from the one thing I’d never allowed myself to want.

HUNTER

From a young age, I considered myself one of the lucky ones. Everything I could have ever wanted seemed to fall effortlessly into my lap—until the day it all came crashing down. One moment, my life revolved around the woman I loved and my dream of playing professional hockey for my hometown team. The next, I’d lost it all.

For the next seventeen years, I ran from the past. I promised myself I’d never let another woman get close enough to break me, choosing instead to stay single, bury the man I used to be, and pour everything I had into running the Las Vegas Neon better than my dad ever did.

Then Andi came along.

For the first time in seventeen years, she made me want to look up from the lonely life I’d built. There was something about her I couldn’t shake. She made me feel things I’d buried long ago and wonder if maybe I’d spent seventeen years protecting myself from heartbreak when, all along, I’d been protecting myself from living.

I got to read this a little early and if you don’t have it on your TBR you need to add it. Honestly I need a few business days to process this. I am emotionally wrecked in the best possible way.

Nicole fully outdid herself on this book and if I could give it infinite stars, I totally would because damn. How she managed to pack so much emotion into a couple hundred pages deserves a standing ovation.

Andi is sassy, confident but reserved due to her past and what she has been through in her younger years (If you’ve read Alpine Peak you’ll definitely see why). She has sworn off love in favor of protecting her heart until Hunter walks into her life with a sledgehammer ready to show her how deserving she is of love.

Hunter, my sweet, sweet man. He is shy, oh so sweet and also carries some secrets about his past that has left him closed off to love until he meet the fiery redhead who steals his breath away. What starts as him being this shy golden retriever turns into a man with the filthiest freaking mouth ever which honestly had me fanning myself a few times. Pair that with Andi and her sassy nature and her mouth? Literally the perfect pairing.

What really stood out to me is the emotional depth in this book. Both Andi and Hunter have pasts that left them with scars that they still carry all these years later but when they come together, they slowly realize they can lean on one another and open up. Leading to such a raw, yet beautiful relationship which they are both so deserving of.

Gah I need to mention how many times I cried tho. Actually I may have lost track on how many times I reached for the tissues but I truly love a book that has me all in my feelings. Plus the spice was freaking phenomenal, between Andi being a bit dominant to Hunter flipping the script from time to time. Some of my favorite spice scenes are right here in this book!

Hands down Nicole’s best book yet and I loved being back in Sin City with this group and let’s just say after that ending I need book 3 like yesterday.

Stolen in Sin City by Nicole Kennedy eARC Review 💚

Get ready for Andi and Hunter to completely steal your heart.

Did I start and finish this entire book in one sitting…yup, I sure did. I couldn’t get enough of this one. It had everything I could possibly want in a book and even though there were sensitive topics, Nicole handles them with such grace. I am in awe of her writing.

Reformed playgirl is such an underrated trope and Andi is such a girl boss, I am absolutely low key obsessed with her.

Sweet baby, Hunter. I adore him and the man that he is. This man has overcome so much and watching the two of them open their hearts up to each other, I could hardly stand it. I loved every freaking second.

Emotional, HOT, and all consuming.

This is hands down a favorite series of mine and when I thought I loved book 1, Andi and Hunter are a new favorite 🤭

What to expect:
Billionaire
Age gap
Stripper FMC
Hockey team owner MMC
Reformed playgirl
One bed
Second chance at love

Thank you so much Nicole for the arc!

**Advanced reader copy review:**

The overall idea and set up for this book was definitely different and refreshing! I really liked the FMC as a stripper, haven’t really seen that before. I think the main thing that I liked about her was how confident and controlling she was, that’s rare these days in a dark romance and it felt like a breath of fresh air.

The guy, I liked the golden retriever vibes for sure but it did feel like his character was a little all over the place at times. He was a little weird and upfront with what he said, getting too close for what their friendship actually was (practically strangers at the time) and as the book went on he started talking to her like he’d been dating/ friends with her for years and it felt slightly unnatural. Then the dialogue when they got together got insanely sappy and cringe which to me is a personal ick with books.

The romance was very quick! But at the beginning it weirdly didn’t feel jarring at first, it felt natural and smooth (until he got too comfortable too quick.) Definitely an easy read which I loved and fast paced too! Also shoutout to the s*x scenes, I think they were written really well!

A few other negatives however: I didn’t feel there was much plot to be excited about or revealed and I started to lose interest in the characters relationship a little bit around the 50-60% mark :/

Either way, this was a fun read for sure and I would definitely recommend either pre-ordering or buying when released :)

Gahh, thank you soso much to Nicole Kennedy and her team for giving me the opportunity to read this book, I had such a good time reading Stolen in Sin City! I really liked Andi and Hunter together, especially because neither of them is particularly interested in getting into a serious relationship at first, and I feel like that is a very integral part to the plot, and it sort of (i dunno, a little?) is the backbone to the story, because it wasn't rushed.

So we have Andi, who is this confident, independent dancer who loves her job and has no plans to get attached to anyone, because... loves her job. Workaholic type thing. And then... there's my gorgeous Hunter (actually, i don't normally go for blondes, but have you SEEN that character art and the way Nicole describes this perfect man?)... Anyway, he's a billionaire who owns the Las Vegas Neon hockey team (nothing too special. trust), and after meeting Andi, he can't seem to get her out of his head (i mean, who could?). The fact that this man kept showing up at her workplace hoping to see her, and then literally paid just to sit and TALK to her?? 😭 I actually loved that. Like DOWN BAD type shit. And not in the obsessive, creepy, stalker way. No. It's in the 'I LOVE HER, I WANT TO BE WITH HER' way.

Now, back to Andi, one thing I really liked about Andi was how comfortable she was with herself, which I honestly think that a lot of women these days aren't, so that was a sort of wake-up call for me, because she's amazing, she's pretty, she's so confident. And she knows what she wants, isn't afraid to take control, and doesn't feel the need to explain her choices to anyone (not even Hunter). But she's also pretty guarded when it comes to relationships, so seeing her slowly let Hunter in was nice (slow burn, but not TOO slow). Honestly, in billionaire romances, the MMC is normal so stoic and brooding, but Hunter is a lot sweeter than I expected. He's just so attentive and clearly cares about her, but he also has a lot of unresolved stuff from his past that makes things complicated between them.

Their chemistry was SO FUCKING good, and the spice definitely didn't disappoint (if you know, you know :DD). I liked that even though their relationship starts off quite physical, there's more going on between them as the story progresses. The second half also gets quite emotional, which I wasn't entirely expecting. There were a few moments when I wished they'd just talk things through, but I still liked seeing how everything played out.

I think what I liked most about this book was that Andi and Hunter both had their own issues outside of the relationship. It wasn't all about the attraction between them, and I liked getting to know them individually as well. Between the banter, the spice, and the more serious moments, this ended up being a really fun read with a bit more depth than I expected <33

Andi is sassy, confident, and fiercely guarded, while Hunter is shy, sweet, and carrying a grief he has kept close for years. He is drawn to her from the moment they meet, but what begins as undeniable attraction slowly becomes something much deeper. The more time they spend together, the more they discover that they can lean on one another 💞

I loved watching Andi bend the rules she created to protect herself and gradually lower her walls. Hunter’s loneliness and emotional history made his journey especially moving, and their growing trust felt gentle and earned. Their road trip 🚙 to visit Andi’s twin brother gives them space to open up, recognize how much they have in common, and begin healing together.

The chemistry is strong, the banter sparkles ✨, and the romance has a beautiful emotional core: two people learning to trust, open up, and believe they deserve happiness 💕. It was an emotional rollercoaster with Hunter being ready to choose connection after years of being alone.

Expect:
• Billionaire romance
• Age gap
• One bed
• Second chance at love
• Found family and friendship
• Strong banter
• Two guarded hearts healing together

If you love emotional romances with layered characters, slow-building trust, and plenty of heart, add Stolen in Sin City to your TBR. Read the new release on 22 October! 📚✨

Vegas, secrets, messy feelings, and a whole lot of reasons to keep turning the pages! 🎰🔥

Thank you to Nicole Kennedy for the ARC! I was happy beeing back in Sin City, where things are never quite as simple as they seem.

Andi and Hunter are such interesting characters. Both struggle with their past, which also has impacted both of their love lives. But when they found each other, they learned that they can lean on one another and face those challenges together.

And, of course, we cannot talk about a Nicole Kennedy romance without mentioning the spice. The tension and romantic moments definitely kept things interesting, and she just knows how to write those hot and spicy scenes 🔥🌶️

The most surprising part of this book was how Nicole intertwined the current story with events from her first duet, Alpine Peak. I was happy to read about some of my favorite side characters again and I am definitely getting more and more excited about book three, because I have the feeling this will be my favorite of them all 🏒😮‍💨📸

If you love addictive romance, sizzling chemistry, and a little Sin City heat, this one deserves a spot on your TBR!

Wow! What a story! I mean it was equally hot as it was packed with a punch of emotional wreckage. Like, not to sugar coat it or anything, but you’ll probably cry at some point. But it was beautiful.

Nicole has a way with her writing, that you always seem to connect with her characters and what they're going through. Almost, like you feel seen. I think that’s what I love most about her stories and this one was no different.

Also, I need to take a minute to shout out a trope in this book, reformed playgirl. Not written enough, as it’s so underrated. But the way she wrote Andi. My god she was a badass babe!

Hunter was a sweet angel baby that lived through some shit. It took meeting Andi, getting to know her and her own struggles, for Hunter to revisit his own past demons and to overcome his past trauma. Watching these two open up to each other, was nothing short of heavenly.

If you haven’t read Nicole’s book yet, this really is your sign!

This series is really so dang good, and I won’t hesitate to recommend it over and over.

Thank you to Nicole Kennedy for allowing me to be an earlier reader for Stolen in Sin City.

I received this as an arc book. Thank you to Nicole Kennedy and her team.

I would rate it at 4 stars and I really enjoyed it.

I would like to preface this review by saying that I haven't read the first book, so I walked in not knowing what to expect, but I was super interested based on the book blurb. This story has characters from the 1st but can be read as a stand-alone.

I liked how both characters were able to grow as people together since they both went through a lot. They both complemented each other and what one lacked the other had. I think what tripped me up a little bit was how they met. It was briefly mentioned, but it wasn't touched on much, and they just started right from them seeing eachother to falling in love. I would have loved to have seen when they first met and have gotten a couple of chapters from that. I am hoping that Peyton gets her book because I really liked hearing about her thought the story!

This one was such a refreshing read! I've honestly never read anything where the female main character is a stripper, and I loved that it gave the story a completely different feel from what I usually pick up.

I also really liked that the male lead is a retired hockey player instead of someone still in the middle of his career. It added a fresh twist to the hockey romance world and made how they met and how their relationship developed feel unique.

Both characters carry a lot of trauma, and watching them work through it while trying to find ways to connect was what hooked me. The pull between them is undeniable, and I was rooting for them the whole way.

Overall, it was just a really good, different story, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a hockey romance that breaks the usual mold.

Stolen in Sin City
Written by Nicole Kennedy

I'm eating up the chemistry, the way they both have very high walls but things are different between them. They are both struggling to accept and understand what the feelings mean between them.

Andi is a badass sassy woman but is also carrying too much past pain. She doesn't let a lot of people in but she can help break her rules for Hunter.

Hunter is also closed off but he can't help how he feels about Andi. She is the first woman to have him want something more than being alone.

I absolutely loved the whirlwind of emotions these two took me on. I was rooting for them to make it work out and for them to get the happily ever after they both crave..

The premise of this book is the FMC works at a private strip club that offers more than just dances to high end clientele, the MMC is the rich owner of the Vegas hockey team that met her in book 1 through mutual friends and ends up becoming a member of said strip club to try to get her to date him and the story develops from there. The spice was fun. They had good banter but I just didn’t quite love this one. It was a fun light read though. I think if the characters made a little more sense it would’ve been rated higher but the MMC is initially portrayed as kind of shy and slightly socially uncomfortable and then has moments where he’s portrayed as more dominating and the characters didn’t quite fit. Thanks to the author for an ARC of this book! The first one is on kindle unlimited now, this one releases 10/22 and if you need a light but extra spicy read it’s enjoyable.

I enjoyed the concept of this book. Seemed to be something a little different than a lot of books.

The beginning started out really good. Andi came across as such a strong character. I loved how she didn’t seem to care what other people thought. She was also very sweet with her friends.

I also liked hunter as the mmc. He didn’t come across as a big shot. He was very down to earth and respectful as well

I’m rating this as three stars because even tho I enjoyed the book. I felt like the plot got lost towards the middle of the book. Some parts of the story also seem to drag on or they just weren’t necessary for the story.

It was definitely a nice quick read. I would still recommend to read it!

Ahhhh Andi & Hunter I looooved them together!!!

Absolutely devoured the reformed play girl X shy golden retriever. Such an underrated and great combo!

Hunter was unexpected for me, he was so different to how he presented at first. Andi really nurtured his darker side and allowed him to be who he really is and not the perfect billionaire hockey team owner that everything thinks he is. He has been through so much and Andi made him hopeful again.

Andi, ahhh I loved her. How she owned who she was, was an absolute boss but was deeply closed off and hurt. Hunter made her feel comfortable enough to open up and be vulnerable again.

Their switching back and forth was so so hot 🥵

This book took me through ALL the emotions. It was hot, adorable, and refreshing, but also heartbreaking, soul-wrecking, and healing. Once again, an absolute delight to read.

Andi had her life together: work, friends, and rules to keep her love life out of sight and herself safe.

Hunter was a widower who was still searching for answers and trying to heal.

They just needed to find each other to learn how to love themselves again and find their way to each other.

This book was heartbreaking, but little by little, it helped put the pieces back together.

Thank you so much for the ARC opportunity!

Thank you thank you thank you Nicole Kennedy for giving me the opportunity to read this early! This was so good and kept me engaged the whole time.

We meet Andi in book 1 and I fell in love with her right away, she is sassy and she speaks her mind but underneath all that she is vulnerable and has a hard time letting people in. And in walks Hunter who breaks all her rules.

There were definitely some twists that I didn’t see coming, which I freaking loved! Bravo Nicole!!!! 👏👏

These two have my heart and I hate to say it but they might be my favourite couple 😬

This was a spicy and emotionally heartfelt journey!! I loved how important it was to Andi and Hunter to build a real emotional connection, and that they took the time to really get to know each other after their instant connection.

I also adored all the found family in this - from Hunter’s best friend Carson being there for him in so many ways to Andi’s friendships with Avery, Peyton, and Colton. Love this world!
