Enter if you dare had me hooked from page one 😭🖤 the atmosphere, the tension, and the chemistry?? i ate it UP. and the spice??? not one... not two... but THREE men had me blushing every other chapter. 🫣🤭 that cliffhanger was actually criminal and i need the next book immediately. also... rowan, you're gonna have to answer for what you did to cipher because cave is not letting this one go!

This is a DARK romance with unhinged, damaged MMC's, please read the trigger warnings.
So I went into this knowing it was a why choose dark romance with a scarecrow and an island theme park where it's Halloween all year and people come to be scared. Little did I know it would be an emotional rollercoaster of anger, pain, sorrow, love, connection and unspoken bonds of friendship and family.
These men! And as for the FMC... my god did I love them all with every fibre of my soul.
The story centres around Valli, a young girl who is doing everything she can to make sure she survives. her asshat brother is in gambling and drug debt up to his ears and she's the one that they come after when he cant pay, she's the one who keeps a job she hates with a dick of a boss so she can try and bail him out. Does he thank her, absolutely not.
On her walk home from work she is kidnapped and taken to Fear Island by a loan sharks goon. I think the plan was to either beat her and dump her or kill her and make it look like the 'freaks' that live and work there did it. Luckily for Valli, the Scarecrow hunts at night and when he see's her trying to fight back, he comes to her rescue.
The story evolves from there into one of belonging and protection.
Cave, the scarecrow, talks only in single words, riddles or actions but has the deepest love for this woman as soon as he lays eyes on her. He wants nothing more than to protect her and make her happy and to make her realises she is meant for him. There are definitely layers to Cave that I am sure will be explored more in books 2 and 3, there is a backstory lurking that will answer a lot of questions.
Cipher, the tinker, the one who wants to know how things work, take them apart and put them back together. He has been Cave's rock, the one he goes to when he needs to just be. They clearly love each other deeply despite Cave's limited speech and being able to tell Cipher how he feels. The way he falls for Valli because she sees them, she isn't there to take anything from them, only to care and make them feel loved in return. There is definitely an element of OCD to his personality as he requires order and everything to have it's place.
Noa, the gravedigger, and clearly a bit on the neurospicy side, no filter, talks a lot about the most random things and loves too hard it scares him. You can feel the moment he falls for Valli when she says she's happy to go dig a hole with him. These men just want to be seen and accepted as they are, not perceived as monsters because they aren't like everyone else. I love Noa the most if I am honest, there is something about his that I just get, he's not written as your typical unhinged MMC with a dark past that makes him this moody killer. He's needy and has too much energy to keep contained and he's a kinky freak too.
I loved how all the characters work, playing off each other and becoming the found family they all need to make them realise they all deserve love and happiness and can be accepted.
The spice is multi-layered too, brutal and hard, soft and deeply emotional, needy and delicious is so many ways. There are so many green flags coming off these red flag men, its just beautiful.
Now... this story ends on a cliffhanger I wasn't totally prepared for. No spoilers, I knew something was going to happen that would make me say what the fuck? but it wasn't entirely what I expected it to be/
I need book 2 like its air right now because I cannot wait to know what happens and if things will be good or bad for our MC's.
Highly recommend if you love spooky vibes, men that would burn the world down for the ones they love, obsessive, protective love and some twists that you don't see coming.

This book completely consumed me from the first page and refused to let go. As someone who reads a LOT of dark romance, it’s getting harder to find something that genuinely feels different, but Enter If You Dare absolutely delivered.
Fear Island is hands down one of the coolest, creepiest, most immersive settings I’ve ever read. The whole place felt alive, and every trip into the cornfield had me on edge. I honestly didn’t want to leave.
But what really surprised me was how much heart this story has. Underneath all the darkness, obsession, chaos, and delicious tension is a story about finding your people, loyalty, and finally feeling like you belong. I wasn’t expecting to become so emotionally invested, but here we are.
Valli was such an incredible FMC. She’s strong without pretending she’s fearless, compassionate without being a pushover, and she never loses herself no matter what she’s facing. I loved her so much.
And the men… Cave, Cipher, and Noa were all so different that every relationship felt unique. Cave had me completely captivated from the moment he appeared. The riddles, the mystery, the absolute obsession… I couldn’t get enough of him. Cipher fascinated me because you never quite knew what was going on in his head, while Noa brought such a different energy that balanced the group perfectly. Together they just worked.
I also loved how Jaye Pratt managed to weave humour into such an intense story. There were moments I found myself laughing before being thrown straight back into the madness. It made the emotional punches hit even harder.
And seeing Vero pop up was such a fun surprise! I love little connections like that and it made me ridiculously happy.
Please, PLEASE read the trigger warnings because this is a true dark romance and Jaye Pratt doesn’t hold back. If you’re looking for something dark, twisted, immersive, spicy, emotional, and unlike anything else, this is it.

Okay Jaye, this is definitely how the first book in a series is done to draw readers in. I was already eager for Caves story after the teaser we got in “I’m not scared” but I was NOT expecting this. In true Jaye Pratt fashion we have FOUR, yes four MCs and boy is it 🥵 we already know Cave, Cipher and Noa and after being kidnapped and beat up, Valli finds herself being rescued by Cave and once he claims you, there’s no going back.
I was already so intrigued by Caves character and I loved how much we got from him and his mindset during his POVs. Hoping we get more of a backstory of how he or Cipher came to be at the island 🤞🏻

I was so excited for Caves story and let me just say part one did not disappoint. The only disappointment is that it ended! I need part 2 and 3 like yesterday!!!!
I love the dynamic of all four main characters. Cave the terrifying Scarecrow that only speaks in riddles. Noa the overly hyper Grave keeper. Cipher the fixer that keeps to himself. And Valli, the girl running for her life from a loan shark that is collecting on her brother’s debt. She is chased onto Fear Island, where she not only finds safety but soooo much more. Now that she is claimed, They will never let her go.
I love that Jaye is so good at cliffhanger’s but absolutely hate it at the same time.

As someone who reads a lot of dark romance, I'm always hoping to find a book that surprises me.
Enter If You Dare did exactly that.
Fear Island completely pulled me in. The atmosphere is eerie, immersive, and the kind of setting that feels alive. Every trip into the cornfield had me holding my breath, and I found myself just as invested in the island as I was in the characters.
What surprised me most wasn't the darkness. It was the heart.
Beneath the horror, obsession, and explicit spice is a story about loyalty, belonging, and finding a family who chooses you.
The characters were easily my favourite part. Cave, Cipher, and Noa each brought something completely different to the story, making every relationship feel distinct and believable. And Valli was such an easy heroine to root for. She's resilient, compassionate, and never loses her voice, even in her most vulnerable moments.
I also loved the balance between tension and humour. Just when things became almost unbearable, the story gave me a reason to smile before pulling me straight back into the chaos.

Complete Series Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 Stars) — A wildly fun, macabre Reverse Harem with amazing mental health rep, Halloween vibes, and elite character dynamics! 🎃🔪
"A man who takes a bullet for you and spends what might be his last thought deciding he’d do it a hundred times over? That’s not a red flag; it’s 100% a romantic gesture. A scarecrow who recites poetry while handling your family drama is not unhinged. He’s protective. And a gravedigger who loves so hard he has to ration his own text messages? Find us that in the wild—we’ll wait. We’re making all the right choices over here: morally gray men, corn swords, and free body disposal with every relationship."
I devoured this entire 3-book series in one day. Was it a literary masterpiece? No. It had a few plot issues, a couple of editing hiccups, and some flow problems. Still, I had such a fun ride!
The Setup & The FMC: 🗺️
This series follows Valli. She is working her butt off to not only take care of her younger sister's college costs but also pay off her older brother's gambling and drug debts—all while trying to pay her normal cost of living. She's incredibly independent. One night, a man kidnaps her as payment for yet another debt her brother owes. She is eventually able to get away and ends up on Fear Island... Enter if you dare.
The MMCs: 👥
She meets our three guys here, and things progress as they do!
• Cave (The Scarecrow): A giant of a man with selective mutism. When he does speak, it's usually in riddles. He's volatile at the best of times (especially if someone enters his cornfield), but he is so unbelievably protective of those he deems as "his." 🌽
• Noa (The Zombie Gravedigger): The very definition of overexcited golden retriever energy! He talks non-stop and loves having a good time. He's sweet and wants to mother-hen his loved ones to death. Digging holes together is a love language! 🪦🤣
• Cipher (The Tinkerer): He doesn't talk much and always has his hands busy. He loves taking things apart, seeing how they work, and putting them back together. He's also a caregiver type, just in a much more silent way. ⚙️
What Worked (The Representation): 🧠
I have to give major props to Jaye Pratt for her mental health rep in this series. These men are all unhinged, but she really shines a light on the fact that they are all on the spectrum in some capacity. They aren't just crazy for the sake of being crazy. They all have their own love languages, their own methods of communication and coping skills, and their own specific needs to feel safe in a relationship.
The way Valli was able to see what each of her men needed and adapt accordingly to each of them was honestly beautiful. Likewise, the relationship between the three men was just as beautiful. They loved each other differently than they loved Valli, but just as fiercely.
Final Thoughts: 💭
Like I said, I had a lot of fun with this series. I've read a few books from Jaye Pratt before, so I knew I was going to have a good time with this one. If you like an RH with sword-crossing (MM) and macabre Halloween vibes, definitely pick this series up!! 📚🏃♀️💨

These men are all unhinged, but she really shines a light on the fact that they are all on the spectrum in some capacity. They aren't just crazy for the sake of being crazy. They all have their own love languages, their own methods of communication and coping skills, and their own specific needs to feel safe in a relationship.
The way Valli was able to see what each of her men needed and adapt accordingly to each of them was honestly beautiful. Likewise, the relationship between the three men was just as beautiful. They loved each other differently than they loved Valli, but just as fiercely.

Like I said, I had a lot of fun with this series. I've read a few books from Jaye Pratt before, so I knew I was going to have a good time with this one. If you like an RH with sword-crossing (MM) and macabre Halloween vibes, definitely pick this series up!! 📚🏃♀️💨

This is the first book by Jaye Pratt that I have read and I was not disappointed. Right from the start, things happen that in other books can take several chapters.
I love being able to follow the different characters' POV. The MMCs in the book are not the usual beefy and tough ones but more of their own and special side. FMC is tough and not afraid to try new things or give in to her urges.
The book is about Valli who by chance makes the acquaintance of three individuals who work at a kind of theme park where anything can happen after the sun goes down. You can only participate if you have been selected and you participate at your own risk.
Fear Island is addictive, spicy and exciting and I am eagerly awaiting part two.

Honestly I had such a good day reading this today,
Right from the Start, I was hooked. The blurb had me excited to dive in, and as always, I loved Jaye’s author notes at the beginning, Mum me versus Author me. Cracks me up every time.
I absolutely flew through this Novella in one sitting. One thing I love about these books is that they are the perfect length to binge when you’ve got a few uninterrupted hours, and this one was impossible to put down.
The writing flowed effortlessly, the pacing kept me engaged from the beginning to end, and I genuinely couldn’t think of a single complaint while I was reading. And when I was finished I was just so excited for this series. I loved getting to know Valli, seeing a different side to Cave, and watching the dynamics between Noa, Cave and Cipher. If you’ve read I’m not scared, you’ll also enjoy seeing some familiar faces pop up along the way.
One of my favourite parts of the book was the banter. It had me laughing out loud more than once and adds so much personality to the characters and their relationships.
And the ending… wow. I was not prepared for that cliffhanger! Now I’m counting down the days until the next book because I need to know what happens next.
This was such a fun reading experience. It had me completely immersed, made me laugh and honestly just made my day better. If the rest of the series continues like this, which I’m sure it will, I think we’re in for something really special.

The story is just as engaging and immersive as a full length novel, with beautifully developed characters, relationships, and a plot that keeps you invested from beginning to end. There are certain books that feel like stepping into your favorite season… and for me, Enter If You Dare: Part One was exactly that. As an October-loving reader, a creepy cornfield, masked men, a mysterious scarecrow, and the promise that “something waits in the stalks” had me feeling right at home and warmed my black soul! 🖤
Cave is unlike any MMC I’ve read before. He speaks in riddles, lurks like a living scarecrow, and remains an absolute enigma from beginning to end. He’s obsessive, fiercely protective, and completely devoted to the people he loves. Watching his connection with Cipher unfold was surprisingly wholesome amid all the darkness. They simply understand each other without needing explanations, and I adored every scene they shared.
Then there’s Noa, whose nonstop rambling during the chase scenes had me laughing out loud more than once. The balance between creepy suspense, dark romance, and unexpected humor is one of my favorite things about Fear Island. Every resident feels wonderfully strange, yet somehow impossible not to love.
Valli was exactly the kind of heroine I enjoy reading. She’s resilient, fiercely independent, and has spent far too long carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. It made it incredibly easy to root for her as she slowly found people who would fight just as hard for her as she has always fought for everyone else.
For a novella under 200 pages, it’s amazing how much Jaye Pratt manages to pack into this story. Between the suspense, the found family vibes, the obsessive masked men, the primal chase, and the emotional moments, I flew through every page. And then… that ending. That cliffhanger was downright cruel in the best possible way. I need book two immediately because I have to know what happens next.

I loved absolutely everything about this book! From chapter one there was already so much chaos and tension that it had you hooked!
Valli who has always work for her siblings and never puts her self first gets thrown into a dangerous situation landing her on Fear island, where Cave saves her life.
Cave from the moment he meets Valli knows she is different and is meant to be his. He dresses like a scarecrow and is a man of very few words the only time you get sentences out of him is when he is saying these ominous riddles.
Then she meets Cipher, he offers her coffee and a ride home the next morning and he too feels something for her which is different to him considering he has only ever been with Cave.
Last but certainly not least you have Noa, who is she meets and he immediately asks if she wants to help dig a grave and Valli never venturing out agrees. They hit it off seeing as Noa is easy going and never stops talking.
Every year Fear island does this chase and Cave, Cipher, and Noa never participate until this year when they get Valli to agree to do it. Things get hot and steamy between them. Each man is so different yet they just fit so perfectly with Valli. Each man brings something new to the equation for Valli. Cave with his possessive and primal nature, Cipher with his watchful eye and calm demeanor, and Noa with is boyish charm who can brighten anyone's day. Each one of them making her feel more protected and secure more than ever. Which she needs in her life thanks to her brother getting into more debt and putting her in life threatening danger.
This book does end on a cliffhanger!! But it is an absolute ride. It has tension, suspense, drama, obsession, possessiveness, and men who will do absolutely anything for the FMC. What more could you ask for!! I can't wait for part 2 to come out!!!

If ever there was a reason to introduce more than 5 stars on goodreads, this is it.
Jaye is one of my all time favourite dark romance authors and I have read ALOT of dark romance.
Jaye has new ideas, characters and more that set these books apart from most others and one of the reasons I love these books.
From the get go I was invested and on a rollercoaster of a lifetime. The anxiety, the immersion, the characters, the feelings and the imagination had me gripped. I felt every emotion each time we took a trip to the cornfield. Not many can make you feel all that but Jaye hands down will grip you with it all and you will say thank you after.
You get everything darkness, tension, possession and obsession to loyalty, love and a found place of your own. Its the emotional rollercoaster you would love to take and I strongly advise that you do.
Valli is a unique FMC and I loved her the fact that she was strong, she could stand on her own and would do so. Most come across as cold and unfeeling but she has the compassion and heart and gives it to those who earn it. She is everything that I would love to have.
Each man brought different things to the group and somehow they all just fit. Cave was the obsession. Cipher the unpredictability and Noa was the balance between the other two. Cave was my guy and had me drooling. From the riddles to the obsession I wanted his attention and would gladly have it.
Jaye Pratt brings everything you could ask for even in a dark romance book. You get all emotions from the darker ones like possession and obsession to the good and brighter ones like humor. You get to imagine everything as it is written with such intensity and world building. It is now to the point that Jaye could write anything and I will read it, I don't even need to know what its about.

I am loving the wonderful cast of characters in Jaye Pratt's newest book, Enter if you Dare. We get to experience Fear Island from different perspectives, and I am so here for it. Honestly, Fear Islands makes me think of a NSFW, dark version of the island of misfit toys.
The story introduces us to Valli (our FMC) alongside Cave, Cipher, and Noa (our MMCs). Each of them brings a completely unique energy to the dynamic:
Valli:
Valli has a younger sister, who she supports, in college. She has always been the caretaker in the family, which was sad, since she has an older brother, but he is useless. She finds herself the target of a loan shark who is out for his pound of flesh. Of, course this is all due to her brother not taking responsibility for his actions, and pawning the consequences off on her. Even though the majority of this story centers around her newfound relationship with Cave, Cipher and Noa, I found myself vexed by her brother's actions. Once claimed, Cave won’t ever let her go, but it also means he will protect her. All three will.
Cave:
This man speaks only in riddles, or not at all (well, there are the occasional one word answers; “no," “yes," etc.). He is incredibly intense, and I love how his silence allows his presence to be heard, and it's an extremely large presence. I really love this character, while terrifying, he still makes me think of a giant teddy bear.
Cipher:
Cipher is a tinkerer who needs things in a specific order (and for Noa to not touch anything). His mind seems to always need to fix things. With Cipher's mind always “on," Cave is the only person who has always been able to turn his brain off, even if for only a moment.
Noa:
Noa completely makes up for Cave’s silence. His non-stop chatter always accompanies him wherever he goes. Rather than being annoyed (like most people would, because seriously, the man talks non-stop), Cave seems to like the way his voice sounds. Noa’s had me cackling so many times, his non-stop chatter producing some pretty hilarious things.
I love this book and can't wait for more.

My favourite Jaye Pratt’s book so far! Despite being a relatively short book, the story is incredibly well constructed with the perfect pacing to deliver a great plot and keep us completely hooked! I absolutely love the Fear Island setting and the constant Halloween vibes.
All the characters are very different from one another but they all fascinate us in their own way!
The whole story starts with Valli, a strong FMC who knows what she wants, even if it sometimes gets her into trouble. She has a brother who drags her into his problems and that turns out to be one of the central parts of the plot.
Then we get to know the MMCs. Starting with Cave, who is undoubtedly my favorite! He rarely speaks and when he does it's in single words or riddles. I am very curious to understand the reason behind this, when we get his POV, we quickly realize there is underlying trauma. He is also extremely possessive! When he considers something his, he never lets go.
And whatever Cave lacks in words, Noa makes up for by talking enough for both of them! They are complete opposites in personality but complement each other so well! Noa is talkative, needs constant attention, has distinct golden retriever energy and brings a great touch of humor to the story.
Balancing them out is Cipher, calmer, less experienced with women and always ready to help without asking too many questions. He seems to be the center that grounds everyone.
The spice in this book isn't immediate, but when it happens it is incredibly hot! Not only between them and the FMC but also between the MMCs (Cave is so wonderfully unhinged in the intimate scenes!).

I was super excited for Cave’s story as he was probably one of the biggest characters that I wanted to read more of in her ‘I’m not scared’ series.
I love the introduction of the two other main characters and I really enjoyed how we still brought back our favourites from the previous series (Vero ❤️). However I did feel like it was a little bit rushed and I would’ve liked some of the storylines to be explained a little bit more but I do know we have two more books to go.
I would have loved to know more of caves backstory in this first book to explain why he is the way he is and maybe why he speaks in riddles because I think that was the biggest question from the previous series is why should you be so scared of the scarecrow?
I do love the theme of ‘being yourself and not caring what people think’ as all three MMC a very quirky in their own way - the quote that really stuck out to me the most isn’t from a spicy scene nor something that made me laugh, but something that is such a beautiful message that my mom always used to tell me
“A therapist once said something like that to me. That everyone’s brain works differently, and if we were all the same, the world would be boring.”
However, I still have to rate this a 4 out of 5 because I literally read this in less than a day I was hooked and I can’t wait to see what happens especially because it ends on a cliffhanger!

I do love the theme of ‘being yourself and not caring what people think’ as all three MMC a very quirky in their own way - the quote that really stuck out to me the most isn’t from a spicy scene nor something that made me laugh, but something that is such a beautiful message that my mom always used to tell me
“A therapist once said something like that to me. That everyone’s brain works differently, and if we were all the same, the world would be boring.”
However, I still have to rate this a 4 out of 5 because I literally read this in less than a day I was hooked and I can’t wait to see what happens especially because it ends on a cliffhanger!

This is an awesome beginning to a new series! I loved getting to know more about Cipher and Cave! The addition of Valli and Noa really made this story better.
Valli is the middle sibling of three and protects her sister from the problems and trouble of their older brother. We meet Valli when she gets kidnapped and shoved into the trunk of some guy. She fights to survive and catches the attention of our favorite scarecrow!
Cave is silent and scary to most people, but he has decided that Valli is his. We get a peak into his mind during his chapters which is nice. He also has a relationship with Cipher before he meets Valli and he also decided that Noa is his as well because he likes the sound of his voice.
Cipher is the mechanic on the island, he enjoys fixing and tinkering with things to figure out how they work. He meets Valli after Cave saves her and brings her to him to bring home. Cipher doesn't really think about things the same way as others, and when he is part of Valli's chase he's open with her that he's never been with a woman before.
Noa is a talker and doesn't like to be in silence. He gets brought into Valli's world because he's the grave digger of the island and is friends of sorts with Cipher and Cave or as much friends as you can be with two people who don't talk much.
Enter if you Dare- Part One is the first book of 3 and should be read in series order and there is a cliffhanger and the end of this book. I'm giving this a 5/5⭐ and a 2.5/5🌶️

Fear Island!!!!
I’m loving everything about this. Valli is strong in a way of survival. Having to take care of everything even her bum of a brother. She has to learn to basically let others help her and listen to her instead of her taking everything on herself. Now Cave, I’m loving that we are getting deep into him now and I’m definitely excited to find out what happened in his life. People think he doesn’t care but in reality he does. He just care deeply do three people now as he tolerates others. I’m a little crazy so I definitely think I would go into Cave’s cornfield, I feel like I would belong right on that island. And Cipher is so quiet also but it’s like a shyness also. But I love how protective he is also. The bond him and Cave has is the cutest thing even if it with little to no words. Noa is just so funny and cute. Like his excitement for things is so adorable. And him feeling like he wasn’t fully like to actually getting claim placed on him was definitely something he needed. I’m also so happy that we got to be around the characters from the last series. I was so excited when Vero popped up. I screamed his name with a smile on my face because who doesn’t love Vero 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I enjoyed everything about this book and so ready to read the next one. Sometime I wish we had a tad bit more spice in the book but other than that it was amazing. I recommend this book sooooooo much. Read and enjoy it because Jaye Pratt is very amazing 5/5 for me!!!!

You know what you’re getting with Jaye—short, addictive, seriously spicy reads where the trigger warnings are there for a reason. But this one? It felt different. And excuse me… THAT ENDING?! Jaye, that’s not a cliffhanger… that’s emotional vandalism. 😭

For a novella, I was genuinely impressed by how invested I became in Valli, Cave, Noa and Cipher. Cave is dark, broody and speaks in riddles, Noa is chaotic golden retriever energy with a shovel, and Cipher quietly steals your attention every time he appears.

Jaye Pratt has done it again, this is short, I won’t say sweet, but I will say packs a punch and will leave you wanting more
I have not read one of her books that I haven’t liked, masked, psychotic men and why choose! Sign me tf up! This is no different, I was a bit confused where we were headed initially but once the story really got rolling I fell in love 😍.
This is a Halloween vibe, cornfields, chasing, scarecrows and so much more. While this may be short there is so much going on, character development, the relationships built and the world. We have Cave, possessive, protective and oh so swoon worthy. Noa, our lovely chatterbox who could probably speak underwater with his mouth taped shut. Cipher, our fix it, comfortable in silence and sensitive…not that you would think that. Finally, Valli, she’s feisty, caring and compliments each of them so well.
Fair warning, this ends on a nasty cliffhanger but you should join me in the wait for part 2! Check your triggers, sign that NDA and get your wristband.

This is another great masked men dark romance by Jaye Pratt! It is a why-choose romance with mm, primal play, found family, an obsessed hero, "he falls first", and a good amount of spice for the first book.
I couldn't wait for Cave's story, and this book did not disappoint! I love the uniqueness of each character that lives on Fear Island, but Cave is truly different in the way he communicates. He is so obsessive, possessive, and protective of those he cares about. I love his and Cipher's relationship! It's not complicated, it's just them easily knowing what the other one needs. I didn't expect Cipher to be so shy and cute, but I'm here for it.
Noa kept me laughing with his rambling. The chase scenes with his monologue are hilarious! Valli is a strong and independent woman. She's been taking care of herself and her siblings to the best of her ability. She's an admirable character who deserves to have this bit of fun and find love and people she can trust and rely on.

Enter if You Dare is a novella series that you don't want to miss. Given that it's a novella Jaye was absolutely brilliant in her character development, relationship strengthening and plot. You actually get enough information and interaction with the characters that it is easy to feel a relatable attraction to them.
Vallie is a headstrong FMC that is dealt a scrappy life situation that she has to navigate through. Cave is your riddle master scarecrow and the mostly silent but broody type. Noa is your grave keeper that is like a puppy that's been at home all day and sees you pull in. Then there is Cipher your Mr. Fix It profound in his knowledge when he wants to let it shine. Together they complete one another and it just makes sense.
The carnival environment was a fun aspect and the main setting of this story. I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger, but I was not expecting THAT. I need book 2 like yesterday.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect with a title like Enter If You Dare: Masked Men of Fear Island… especially when it’s only 150 pages.
As you can imagine, I absolutely devoured this book! Although, if I’m being honest, I also found myself trying to slow down because I wasn’t ready to leave Fear Island.
The way I love this book! I found myself laughing alongside Noa and Cipher, becoming completely emotionally invested in Cave and Vallia, and by the final page, I was desperately needing part two.
Noa gives off the ultimate golden retriever sub energy…bouncing around just waiting for someone to play with him. The moment Vallia volunteers to help him with a task, that’s it… he’s found his person.
Cipher and Cave have this beautiful unspoken understanding. Their bond runs so much deeper than words, and you can feel how fiercely they care for one another. And Cave? He’s so misunderstood. Beneath his scary exterior is someone who will protect what’s his at all costs.
So… do you dare enter the cornfield?
The Scarecrow is waiting…

I've been intrigued by Cave since we first met him in the first Fear Island books.
Valli unknowingly finds herself in the corn field as a man is chasing her. However, Cave always knows when someone bid in his field and he us immediately protective of the girl which is new for him.
I loved the chapters that let us see into Cave's mind since he only speaks in riddles or one word answers. The fact that he wanted Valli to not be scared and immediately went to get someone to help was very sweet.
I love everything about Fear Island and it's games. However, there is so much more at play. The men are obsessive and possessive. They will protect those they claim no matter what.
There is so much heart and found family on the island. Valli needs that and her men need her too. That group scene in the cornfield was absolutely beautiful.
We are just barely getting into Cave's story and I need the next part immediately. I also want to know more about the other men and their stories.
Where can I find this place cause I'm absolutely ready to be claimed by a bunch of feral and protective men.

This was a fun read. It starts off with our girl Valli running for her life and attracting the attention of three separate dudes on this funhouse island.
As Valli deals with family issues and the danger they come with, Valli is navigating a new relationship with three men, each crazy in their own way. Offering her a better family option.
Each MMC has their own unique connection and vibe from their very first interactions which I absolutely loved. I also appreciated that their relationships blossom within the first book of this series, instead of having uninterest between characters, and how Noa was just his unfiltered self and got pulled in to the relationship circle.
I thought the Scarecrow was going to be my favorite man, and he most certainly would be the Top between us, he ended up being my second favorite to Noa. Noa was just so unfiltered it made him endearing and my favorite book quotes are by him. You'll understand what I mean when you read the book...
That cliffhanger? Not having the next book right away is going to be torture.

Enter If You Dare Part One is the first book in a new trilogy within the series 'Masked Men of Fear Island' and this dark, dirty and intriguing world will have you hooked from page one. I was so excited to read Cave's story and it definitely didn't disappoint and has left me wanting to know so much more. I recommend that you read the warnings before you enter Fear Island, however I couldn't put this novella down with characters that own their red flags, are unapologetically themselves and just seem to work so well together. Filled with humour, drama, chemistry, suspense, an unhinged scarecrow that speaks in riddles, quirky characters, sizzling scenes, great banter and a found family vibe this short story delivers such an entertaining read. The men in this story are all very different from each other but I couldn't pick a favourite out of Cave, Cipher & Noa who will stop at nothing to ensure that Valli is kept safe from the danger her brother has put her in. After that ending I can't wait for the next book because I need to know what's going to happen next on Fear Island!!!
