I’ve liked a lot of this authors books, but I did nottttt like this one. I hated that splice was such a manwhore during their time apart. And also, I skipped to the epilogue because I had a suspicion I wouldn’t be satisfied with how it ended and I’m glad I did because they aren’t even living together 4 years later. Allegedly they sleep together most nights at one of their houses, but I don’t understand or like that. If they stay together most nights, why don’t they live together? Is this a romance book or a situation ship book?? I guess that was supposed to be a different and unconventional change from the normal HEA, but if I had read the whole book I would’ve been so unsatisfied with that. Also, very personal preference here and I know everyone won’t agree, but I don’t like that they won’t ever get married 🤷♀️ I like for my romance books to end with marriage, or with the understanding that marriage is on the horizon. In this book, they never plan on getting married, and to add to that they don’t even live together. I didn’t like these two enough to stick around for the rest of the book for that kind of ending

Splice absolutely owned my heart.
The man waited ten years and was still down bad for Lisa the second she walked back into town. Omg, if you want a yearner and a biker so down bad for his woman, Splice is the one for you!
I am such a sucker for a yearning hero, and this book delivered every single thing I wanted. The age gap, the second chance, the biker who never moved on? Obsessed. I'd read this one again in a heartbeat. Older heroine age gap is not done as often as I’d like, it’s one of my fave tropes, and V. Theia has several of them (yay!) and she absolutely smashed this one!!
This book gave me everything I wanted from an MC romance.
Great chemistry, emotional depth, a little danger and a plot twist in plain sight I didn't see coming, and a hero who never stopped loving his woman.
Splice is the very defintion of Touch her and Die.
Splice was absolutely swoon-worthy and he brought the SPICE. Lisa was my kind of FMC, so likeable and loved Splice in the same way.
I loved seeing him fight for a future with Lisa after all those years.
Highly recommend.

Firstly, we get a new V. Theia book again! I have been patiently waiting and POUNCED on this as soon as I knew Splice was coming. There is something so comforting when you can read a favourite author again.
Secondly – what a freakin’ book. OMFG.!
I loved this so much! Splice is one of those heroes who never stops loving his woman, and honestly, that's my weakness. Lisa was adorable, a heroine you want to be friends wih. I LOVED that she was older than Splice. You can trust V. Theia to write a full romance without including bikers fucking around. The chemistry between him and Lisa was incredible, and every scene together felt charged. If you love MC romance with a softer, romance-heavy core and a hero who will burn the world down for his woman, grab this immediately.

I love the world of the Diablo Disciples. Everytime I hear we are getting another story, I’m thrilled. Splice got his 2nd chance at love and he was not gonna waste a single moment. Lisa got the chance for a redo and that’s a rarity in life. This had the rich dialogue I can’t get enough of, brotherhood and a plot twist that had me stabby.
I’ve said this at least 20 + times before, but no one writes steam like this author. She has the magic touch. I say magic because I do not even enjoy a dominate heroine. That’s a dynamic that just doesn’t really do it for me, yet I found myself turning these pages like the book was on fire. Well played and well done…. 👏👏👏

Many of you will know that’s for many years I have been reviewing for this author, from the very first and I can say hand on heart there has not been one that I have not loved every single time that one has been published has been. As soon as I see that we are going back to one of the MC’s club that V has crafted I am filled with a sense of peace and yes there are times that are the books can be stressful and you’re not sure what is going on and you feel as if you’re not going to get that happily ever after even though you know this even though know it’s gonna happen at some point. I can say that splice is no different.
Splice what everyone wants in a man someone who would do anything for the woman he loves at times yes there are some questionable things that he decides to do. Pretty sure at some point I wanted to reach in the book and shake him about a choice that he made but at the end of the day it was all for Lisa. Because at the end of the day, it had always been for Lisa.
So buckle up as we return to motorcycle romance which is coming out very soon and of course as always, I look forward to the next book

Splice has never gotten over his first love, but in all this time, he’s had fun with other women but could never settle down. He bought a big house thinking he would make a home but didn’t find anyone. Lisa is a linguist, a foreign language translator. She’s just come back into their small town, and they happen to cross paths, rekindling their romance.
There is a good 10 years between them, and they were in love before Lisa left town unexpectedly. She moved on, married someone else, but truly never got over Splice. He would truly do anything for her, and he sets out convincing her that they were perfect for each other.
There’s not that much MC issues of the club in this book, and it’s mostly Splice and Lisa’s romance. The danger that ripped them apart is pretty easy to figure out. I did like both people individually, but I think the romance could’ve have been a little more passionate and exciting.

I really enjoyed this second chance, reverse age gap story about Splice and the one that got away, Lisa. She left him abruptly 10 years prior and neither have ever really let the other go. When they accidentally are reunited, Splice is all in on rekindling their relationship. The sparks, banter and heat were immediate and did NOT let up even after they finally got together. I loved that the power dynamic was different from so many other books set in the MC genre as Lisa was the dominant one in the bedroom and Splice was all about it. I loved even more that this dynamic was unique to the two of them together and that neither had even thought of exploring it with others during their separation.
There is a subplot involving shenanigans going on with the club that adds a level of tension of angst when the truth comes out about WHY Lisa ran all those years ago. This book is part of a series and you get ALL the returning characters, which I really enjoyed seeing again.

This book had me smiling like an idiot the entire time. Splice never got over Lisa, not for one second, and watching him finally get another chance with her was everything. When our boy is down bad, he is DOWN. BAD.😍❤️

I loved that the age difference wasn't some huge issue for him—he knew what he wanted, and it was always her. The MC backdrop added just enough danger while keeping the focus on the romance. The conflict scene had my heart in a fist! I never saw it coming, even when the clues were there. Brilliant!

My love for this author is practically legendary! She is the queen of stories, the creator of some of the most epic book boyfriends! Splice takes his place among good company. The yearning, the devotion, the obsession is so intense. Lisa is very sweet, intelligent and wary of her former flame. They met a decade ago and then she ran after a hot and heavy couple of months. Now she is back in town and the attraction between is instantaneous, like no time had passed. The affection (the touching, hand holding, kissing) was on another level! If you want pure romance with a biker boy and his goddess, you need to get your hands on Splice immediately!

book eight in the Diablo Disciples MC. as the sergeant of arms splice has lots responsibility on his plate. nothing serious. till his introduce to his best friends old lady friend lisa. ten years ago he lost his heart to her. now she’s here again. second chance to find out how he can fix it. lisa left town without a word now she’s back. lisa never forgot him . he was always in her mind. she wants forever with him. after laying down the new rules they make it happen. after all they where meant to be.

Perfection!
I love reverse age gap reads and I love V. Theia’s books. This combination that culminated in Splice was utter perfection! I could not put this down! It was spicy, it was angsty and I loved the different dynamic that played out between Splice and Lisa, making it a more unique Biker read.
The sad part is, I’ve gobbled this up and now have to wait for the next great read from this author. I have read ever single book she has written, many more than once. Splice far exceeded everything I thought it would be!

Ryan/Splice and Lisa had a fling years ago and then she cut him off after he totally fell for her. Now that he knows she is back, she doesn’t stand a chance against him. Splice really puts the work in to build a relationship. He is such a sweet guy to her. So many funny moments throughout the story. Lisa is a tough nut to crack, but he does it. Stuff from the distant past rears its head and he really hurts her dealing with it. Really good story.

This was a unique take on a biker romance and I really enjoyed it. It has a reverse gap and a bedroom dynamic I’ve rarely seen. Splice and Lisa didn’t have an easy time but they were meant to be together and I loved them both. Both were easy going, lovable characters and their relationship was cute. As always it was good seeing the rest of the MC members and I especially enjoyed the Ol Ladies in this one.

OMG. I adored Lisa and Splice, from the second the book started I had a smile on my face and it carried through to the end.
While I guessed who the person was that caused the inital split and who it was that threatened them now, I guessed the wrong reason.
But these two are hot, heavy and possessive. I LOVE that Lisa is juat as bad and clingy to her Ryan as he is to her. Want Mouses story ASAP....

Splice is the enforcer for the Diablo Disciples MC. He's never forgotten the older woman that he dated ten years ago. Lisa left town years ago but now she's back. Splice is determined to get a second chance with Lisa. The couple have a fun, witty banter between them. Club troubles mixed with the reason Lisa left all those years ago leave a wild adventure for this story. Excellent read!

I’m not usually one for a reverse age gap, but as a massive fan of the Diablo Disciples, I couldn’t help but devour Splice and it’s easily become one of my absolute faves.
It's a proper gripping, second-chance MC romance that completely tugs at the heartstrings as Ryan (Splice) and Lisa fight for their forever against a load of drama.

I love me an age-gap romance, make it a reverse one and I'm a very happy girlie. This is so good, the story, the heat, the characters, the setting. It's like the most decadent sweet treat you can imagine wrapped up in a beautiful package.

MC Romance is one of my ultimate favorite genres to read and this one has the best tropes of second chance romance and age-gap (not a huge gap; she's the cougar) blended in.
I was excited to see that this sweet-toothed, loyal, and possessive biker was getting his story. Lisa is the perfect woman for him. I loved their banter, and their tantalizing chemistry.
The suspenseful and action-packed plotline with some surprising twists held my attention and took me on a wild ride of which I never dreamed of.

I’m a huge lover of MC stories and truly am obsessed with this series. Been waiting to read about my dessert loving biker who protects those he loves and is loyal to. Plus with a mix of second chance love makes it even better. Years ago, a younger Ryan aka Splice met a beautiful older woman named Lisa. She was everything in a woman he could possibly want, beautiful, smart and sassy. They clicked right away and thoroughly enjoyed each other. Until one day, things changed and they no longer were together. Years later he is now the Enforcer for the Diablos and unbelievably their paths cross again. I could feel the lust coming off the pages when they met up again, but also felt something was different. Lisa is a bit distant, but why? What made her run all those years ago? Splice is bound and determined to make her his again, but when he finds out the truth, what will he do? These two made me laugh out loud with their witty banter and sweet words. And their chemistry is so hot my fingers burned as I turned the pages. This story had so much going on, my head was spinning. If you love MC as much as I do, then read this story, you need it in your life! Absolutely perfection!
