The high school reunion setting creates the perfect atmosphere for hidden secrets, old rivalries, and unexpected twists. The mystery is well-paced, with plenty of suspects and clues that kept me guessing. I especially enjoyed the dynamic between Julia and Detective Andrew Vance, as well as the humor and friendship shared with Lucy Fanelli.

Debra Deetz does a great job of bringing Maple Bay to life with memorable characters and an intriguing plot. If you enjoy clean, cozy mysteries filled with suspense, small-town secrets, and satisfying surprises, this book is definitely worth reading.
