Great beginning of the 3rd series.
Here we have sons and grandchildren of Théoden, going with King Ara to their new lives!!!
I was feeling a bit sad for Théoden... But he has bigger issues to concentrate on. For instance, his new "embraced" son Dante.
Dante, the vampire/wolf hybrid still needs to submit to his father Théoden.
Meanwhile with the wolves, Deacon has a similar problem. His mate, Elijah is refusing to submit to him..

I stood beside Ara, hands crossed behind my back. I felt a strong sense of loss as I watched my two sons walk out of the room, ordered by my Father, and not me. It would be years, maybe even centuries before I’d ever see them again. Never once did I ever have to see one of my sons leave me. This was going to be an adjustment.

Start of Season three.
Season three off to a great start.
Nicholas Bella has done it again. Amazing. This season is going to be awesome just like the other two. I can feel it.
I like how we get to know more about Deacon. About his wives and children. He has a mansion full. None of his wives are his mate. Only Elijah. Not sure how that works but Nicholas likes to keep you thinking.
The boys sure was having fun. The game that Derek, Noel and Marco was playing with their sons. Derek surprised me in how he disciplined Jace's behavior. That was intense.
The branding ceremony was awesome, gruesome and intense. Cutting off the old brands was so brutal but necessary. The new insignia is just for the Generals, Theoden's sons. The grandchildren, Jonah, Marshall and Wyatt got the original House of Theoden insignia.
After the ceremony, Noel did his training with Marco. It didn't go very well. Noel has a lot to learn but Marco will teach him well.
Deacon's mate Elijah has challenged him to a hand-to-hand combat. They stand among the pack taking their positions.....
Nicholas has left this book in a cliffhanger. Shame on you. I guess we have to wait for book two. Claimed.
As usual Nicholas drags you in and holds on to you. He leaves you wanting for more. If you want to read a book that is highly erotic, extremely dark and twisted and leaves you hanging than you must read this series. If you haven't followed this New Haven Series you have to start with season one Embraced Chained in Darkness. You won't regret it.
Again Nicholas has given us suspense, originality and his awesome imagination. This book is awesome, amazing, kinky and magnificent. A must read. 5 stars from me.

We open with Deacon. He reveals more of his plans for his new mate, Elijah—and for Theoden.
Deacon’s chapters/POVs are not as strong as Theoden’s or Noel’s; the author seems to be purposefully keeping us in the dark about him. Fortunately, Deacon’s wives don’t get page time (at least not yet).
Elijah is slowly transforming. And he’s not happy with Deacon.
Noel and Romeo are super hot together.
Jace is a mouthy SOB. Derek gives him some painful lessons.
Noel trains very hard with Marco. Ara is extremely pleased with Theoden.
Dante remains foolish. He has so much to learn; Theoden will not tolerate his nonsense.
Cool fight scenes.

This third season is starting off full speed ahead! Nicholas Bella has a knack for pushing the envelope with each book and that is very true for this one. These vampires and wolves, along with the dragons, are breaking the mold for what one thinks of as paranormal. The author isn't afraid of shaking up the stereotypes and making them whatever is on the author's mind. I love a book that dares to reinvent the wheel, especially when their interpretation is as dark and raunchy as Nicholas Bella's is. This start to the new series has added the voice of Deacon to Noel's and Theoden's, which is awesome because up until this point, we didn't have a ton of information on the wolves. It should prove to add another level to an already great series.
In this one, we get to begin to see how Dante is going to be, stubborn as ever. Also, the time is now for the King to come and collect his vampires from Theoden. It is going to be fun because the King knows of Noel's virginity and may have to sample that before taking his leave. Deacon will be beginning his journey with his mate, Elijah, which should be interesting. But my favorite thing has to be how Noel is settling into his role as a General for Theoden and a Father to Romeo. He is really taking to being a vampire and his journey is fun to watch. This one has him really diving into to the vampire life. There is a lot going on in this book and it is the perfect start to this new season. I was hooked after a few pages of Embraced, and I am still a huge fan. This series just gets better and better. If dark, sexy, raunchy paranormals interests you, come take a look. I am sure you haven't seen these ones before. Just looking forward to Elijah's mating has me getting goosebumps. I can't wait to see the next book.

Nicholas Bella has his own flair of writing, his inner bad boy and love for kink comes through in his writing. With Mr. Bella there is no half measure you either like him or you don’t, me love it!
His talent for cooking a big pot of oh my damn, with characters that make you go whew! Or course stirring in a bit of mystery and add a few dashes of naughty...ok a lot of dashes of naughty and watch it boil over.
Dante you wont help but want more of him the mystery that surrounds him, you want to grab Nichols and sit him back down until we get more of Dante. Will Dante fold? Will he submit or will he be Theoden bane? Oh then then there is Elijah holy hell what a sexy hard head, his story with Deacon again will have you begging for more.
Then the boys... Was there a wee bit of shift in Marco hell bent personality of being a prick. Hmmmm... Noel oh how awesome is our little pet shaping up to be, learning well and gaining ground. Then to be the treat of Kings and Alpha’s and it hasn’t gone to his head.

What an amazing beginning for the third season. To meet Theoden and his sons, as well as Deacon and his new mate again makes all the waiting for this book worth it.
The added PoV of Deacon is awesome and intruiging. Just to learn more of this sexy alpha wolf and his further intentions, his bonding with Elijah and of his pack made me cheer and hope and Long for more to come.
Also to see that one of Theoden's more "shyer" sons getting in a Situation to punish his son for disobeying him, well, I expected that last. But Derek quite impressed me. But that's one Thing I've learned by now, never expect anything in within Nicholas' books, just let it happen, get drawn into the dark, kinky sexy Story and enjoy the ride.
Speaking of kinky, I loved to see Noel being that familiar with his new horny and kinky nature and living it. Just thinking about the sexy "race" at the beginning, awesome!! This series just keeps getting better and better. I find myself acting like a kid on christmas waiting for the newest installments. The sexy world Mr. Bella has created is kinky and dark and so hot. I just love it. In Branded we get to really know more about the werewolves. I'm not sure where I stand on my opinion on Deacon but a part of me admires his dominance. I can't wait to see him break Elijah. Theoden is going to have his hands full with his newest son, Dante, the were-hyrid for sure. I can't wait to watch him fall to his knees for sure. Noel is embracing his life as a vampire more and more throughout this read. I just love him so much. Even Marco is growing on me more and more. This is a wicked world Mr. Bella is creating and I can't wait to see where this adventure leads us. It is not a series for the faint of the heart but if you enjoy some raw grittiness in your reads and are not afraid of the dark then I would suggest you start with season one and catch up because this ride is promising to be magical.

I am sooooo hooked on this dark, sexy, twisted vampire series. I have fell in love with the characters especially Noel. I love how there's no holds barred with what Theoden and his sons won't do to satisfy their needs and desires. However I definitely don't trust Deacon, I just know he's up to something. And I'm so glad that traitor Jonah is gone, I hope he eventually gets what he deserves for betraying Noel. The scene between Noel and Dante shows me how far Noel has come to adapting to his new "life". This is definitely not a stand alone you need to start from the beginning to understand what's going on within the House of Theoden. Very graphic M/M sex, BSDM, darkness and violence makes this a series for the 18+ crowd only. I can't wait for the next installment in this amazingly steamy, dark, panty melting series.Bravo Mr. Bella, bravo.

I'm kinda sad to see Michael and Tyler leaving the house. Marco, Noel and Derek are too funny with that challenge. Poor Noel always getting picked on cause he's a virgin but at least he's starting to enjoy it. I really like Romeo. Jarvis interesting character. Dante still having a hard time but I can't wait to see more of him in the future. I am also looking forward to Elijah.

This book mostly centers around Decaon the local wolf alpha who has entered a alliance with Theoden. Noel is making more progression in his training and the new members of the house prepare to leave. As always there is entry of sex and abusive talk, these books are not for the squeamish.
