A tension-ramping nail-biter of a novel! Duff delivers taut pacing and tightrope suspense in this timely, moving legal thriller. The high-stakes case blends a powerful sense of immediacy with small-town prejudice, making it impossible to put the book down. A brilliant, must-read addition to the Fischer at Law series!
