God, the wishy-washy waffling is a massive pet peeve.

The "uh I can't be with my teenage loves, and scent matches because I got in some trouble, but I can't tell anyone about the trouble to help me" bullshit got sooooo old, sooooo fast.

I know this is a cozy style OV but the conflict/angst only from mis- or no communication is one of my biggest pet peeves. Even listed on my profile. If Sofia had just talked to her family and alphas this book would have been half of what is was.

A sweet and beautiful omegaverse romance.

It’s not a dark romance, but it still gives us enough mystery and drama. These heavier moments are nicely balanced by the wonderful moments the characters share together.
The MCs have amazing chemistry and manage to have a lot of fun along the way.

Our Omega FMC needed to spread her wings. The experience wasn’t what she imagined, and she ended up needing to go back home. How many of us haven’t needed to return home to understand what we really want and who we truly are?

She has one of those families who go above and beyond and always have a place waiting for her. The same goes for her friends. But what she wasn’t expecting to find were the missing pieces of her life—pieces she didn’t even know she might find again.

Our MMCs, with such different yet captivating personalities, perfectly complement the FMC. They even complement each other without realizing it. She is the reason they were brought together, but that also made them truly see each other and build strong bonds between them. And she definitely wasn’t sad about that outcome—just like me, LOL. I love it when the MMCs also develop bonds with each other.

They are all a little damaged and haunted by their pasts, but together their light shines brightly.

Sunshine Cove is one of those little paradises in the world where getting to know everyone feels comforting, beautiful, and sometimes even funny. It’s a community that helps each other and doesn’t judge.

And then we have our little Danger. Oh, how I want to hug him!

4.5⭐️

Smitten Knot Bitten is a wonderful new addition to the cozy Omegaverse space. Tea’s newest book is low on angst, high on feels, with just the right amount of suspense. This is a charming tale of growth, acceptance, and what it means to truly come home.

Sunshine Cove is a quaint seaside town with an endearing (if intrusive) community of unique characters. After years away in the city, Sofia and her trusty sidekick, Danger, find themselves returning to her childhood home in search of respite while she rebuilds and determines what is next. Looking for solace, she is unprepared to run into the three men who irrevocably bruised her tender heart and a town besotted with her mother’s match making schemes.

Pack Hart has an uphill battle as they slowly help Sofia heal her heart and slowly find the courage to trust again. I adored the Sol family and the inhabitants of Sunshine Cove, my only wish is that we had a bit of a prologue to better understand why Sofia felt like she didn’t quite fit in. I think her leaving and reluctant return would have had a much deeper emotional impact if we understood her reticence.

If you love found family in a meddling small town, I cannot recommend this new start to a series enough and I hope you will take a chance to read. As always, please take care and check content warnings.

Adorably romantic in an idyllic town
Sofia returns home to Sunshine Cove after an adventure away to find herself, but things are not what she thought. Perception is everything in this life, and hers was so very off from everyone else’s. However, returning home turns out to be the best thing she’s ever done. Her mother pushes her into a Valentine’s dating event she and some friends have cooked up, and although she dreads it and has no intention of finding a pack, things take the sweetest turns. For those who are hopeless romantics and love an adorable love story, this will absolutely make you giggle giddily, swoon, and fan yourself while you wish you were in Sunshine Cove and in Sofia’s shoes.

Definitely in a book slump…I have to stop reading this at about 30%. Told from all POV, I just don’t like second chance romance. It’s centered around the FMC, which I like, but I also want more character development from the MMCs. The writing is good and I like the author so I am blaming this on my funk.

A delicious confection

This cozy omegaverse romcom was just what I needed right now! When the Real World is scary and awful, thank goodness we have writers to refill our cups with special hot cocoa, loudly loving families, and adorable pups. Can't wait to dive into the next one!

Such a good story

Tea takes a little turn from her usual writing style to give us this cute story with some angst. Pick it up if you'd like Omegaverse, but more sunshine. Some MM, MMMF.

Strictly in the super sweet category of omegaverse, while the pack is mmmf the entire story revolves around the female omega's experience even when the pov changes, the spice is 99% mfmm on page

I really enjoyed this read. I liked the characters and I loved the family. The animals are great and the ending was sweet.
