I am simply writing this review because I can’t stand zero review of this gem. I am not going to write here any essay on Meera. We all know who She was.
I would just say that it wasn’t a journey of a Rajput woman from being princess to a mystic saint.
Instead it was a pilgrimage of a woman from being Meera to Peetambara.
I thought I am going to read only about Meera’s sufferings on the path of love here,
But at the end i felt it was Krishna’s Agni pareeksha too.
It was krishna’s journey as well towards Meera’s love.
When Meera suffered, Krishna suffered too.
When Meera cried, Krishna couldn’t hold back his tears as well.
It was a voyage of both towards each other and their platonic love.
I think this was the best love story I have read since ages.
