Harold Johnson is a young man who is back in his home town trying to get his life in order. Living with his parents again and working on their farm in eastern Colorado, he feels like a failure in life. Stagnate beginnings are soon washed away as strange and dark events come about in the small town near the Johnson Farmhouse.
A strange sickness hits the area sending Harold into a tailspin. Everything Harold knows is in jeopardy and soon his life will be seriously altered forever as this strange disease effects his reality.
Harold is forced to become the man he needs to be to forge through this new adversity. He discovers talents and strengths within himself that create a new beginning for Harold.

This book starts off with action and keeps the momentum through out the entire book. I really liked the bits of humor sprinkled through the book.

A few very rich men decide that the earth is overpopulated and cook up a plan to give a certain group a disease which will do away with them. Follow the day to day activities of Harold in his quest to find a cure for this disease.
