Another great story in the Miranda and Parker series's
Frantic paced search for Becker in the City of Lights, Paris (much more exotic than Brazil)! Miranda and Parker confront a kidnapping gone wrong! With few clues they discover a devastating plot that threatens the heart of France! Our loving couple must rely on their instincts, face grave danger (as usual) and are too exhausted to enjoy each others company! Linsey Lanier has delivered yet another magnificient storyline, involving french gourmet desserts and a pulse pounding thriller! Reader emotions are woven throughtout the book and contribute beautifully to the reading pleasure! Such a great story! I've read them all in order and have never been disappointed! I've already purchase the next book (naturally) and can't wait for the next awe inspiring episode from our favorite investigators! There is also a hint of teenage angst from Miranda's daughter and quasi daughter. What any parent would expect from teen girls! Can't wait for Miranda and Parker to discover parenting nightmares on steroids!
This installment of Miranda and Parker was good, though not my favorite. This time it's a friend they are helping find her missing husband in Paris. There's still the mystery, the chemistry between Miranda and Parker, and a touch of humor to sweeten the pot. One thing I like about these books is the fact that you know when you pick one up you're going to enjoy it. I haven't read one yet that disappointed me or tempted me to put it down. Even now I'm looking forward to starting the next in the series. All I can say to the author is, "Keep them coming!"
Ooh la la. What awaits for Parker and Miranda when they head to Paris to search for their friend Dave, Funazzi’s Joan) husband and one of Parker’s graduates from his PI school. Dave is missing ... what could have happened to him. Fast pace story that keeps you wanting to keep reading.
I enjoy Lindsey Laniers characters and her writing style.
I really liked the series because I hadn't met a character l like Miranda before. I was intrigued by the attraction between Miranda and Parker. Could they be any more different? But now, after reading the 5th book in the serues, could the climax be any more repetitive or unbelievable? I'm disappointed.
As always, I was not disappointed. Miranda and Wade solved another mystery in Paris. Fast-paced, gripping and they saved Becker and they go back home to more drama. Miranda's daughter wants to find her birth father. Looking forward to reading the next book to find out what happens next.
I don't know what else to say except what I said on the last four book. This is one fantastic series. The suspense and the mystery is great. I highly recommend this series. I love the suspense.
Thursday mysteries are getting better with each book. I love the back and forth with Miranda and Parker. He loves her dearly but wants to protect her.She can image her life with it him each trying to save each other
Miranda and Parket have taken on a life of their own. Was this their hardest case where they think they have lost the other and their best friends. Wait until they start with the daughters
Miranda & Parker are at it again. This time in Paris. Miranda can’t stay out of trouble but, at least she didn’t find a dead body. This one I figured out who was bad but not what was planned. Well written as always. Thank you for a good book.
This came pretty close to the end of Miranda or Parker or both. As always, the storyline was nail-biting and the characters were fascinating. I look forward to reading your next book.
A chocolate confection created by a master chef in Paris - what's not to love!!! Of course Miranda and Wade help out their friends when Dave gets kidnapped. Once again it's a high octane search and recovery effort!!
This book was outstanding. The last part was on the edge of your seat reading!!l really stayed up all night reading it.
You just keep getting better and better. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Please keep up the excellent work. You are doing a fantastic job.
Title corresponds with baking flair. Ingenious I’m assuming when the guys and gal were caught in the catacombs they went out the way they came in or was there another way out.
Miranda and Parker are the best PIs going. The growth Miranda has experienced through this series is enormous. When the team is working together nothing can stop them. The closeness they've with their friends is heartwarming and heartwrenching. Can't wait to dig into the next in series.
Longwinded but good story and plotline have read a few of these books same balanced approach to the mystery and solution. Good read though as always although padded out a bit.
This was another great story on the Miranda and Parker episodes. This one is about their friends and a trip she won to go to Paris and take courses from a famous chef. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
Great read. Great characters in this story. How well they got along and not trying to out do one another. This is certainly how to solve the mysteries while dealing with people of different nationalities.
I just can't get enough of Miranda and Parker. This book brings them to Paris. While in Paris the story becomes very tense and a nail biter. Can not wait for Book #6 to come out.
Another great book. I absolutely love Miranda and Wade Parker. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. Always keeps me on the edge of my seat.
