A quick and deadly little read! I enjoyed every minute of it, but THAT ENDING?! Definitely did not see things playing out like that! LOL. Talk about an unexpected twist!

Firstly. This was my first book by Jess Cody and I loved it!
Sin of sorrows is the first book in the hallow fest series. It was a mix of different emotions that pulled at my heart strings. Max and Emma are made for each other. They’re both obsessed with each other in ways only them understand.
An FMC who gets revenge is always a top tier read for me. Emma got her revenge and that’s something a lot of us women would deeply enjoy.
This got under my skin and I’m not mad about it.
The ending? I’m sorry wtf was that because that did not need to happen🥺🤣
I can’t wait for more from this series!

Not what I expected but in a good way.
This story was a whirlwind of emotion along with those dark moments that pulled at every heart strings.
Max & Emma well they just work and honestly couldn't picture the story any other way then how it was I wouldn't change a thing.

A very dark read involving two serial killers, drugs and lots of trigger warnings. Emma and Max are obessed with each other and completely unhinged.
A short read that I finished in a few hours and with an ending I did not expect. Enjoyable read.
