Quentin Jerome Tarantino is an Academy Award- and Palme d'Or-winning American film director, screenwriter and actor. He rose to fame in the early 1990s as an independent filmmaker whose films used nonlinear storylines and stylized violence. I'm not sure about this chapter. Django so far is just an observer and the plot reminds me of same "free-the-slaves" bit from the ending of The Mask of Zorro.
