Three hundred and sixty-five multiplied by three. That’s the number of days (give or take) that have passed since Cecelia St. May has left her house. If you’re not up for doing the math, that’s three years. Not coincidentally, it’s also the number of days she has not been on a date, been kissed, or properly man-handled in any way. But, more importantly, it’s the number of days she’s been grieving the loss of her father to the hairy, surly beast known as breast cancer.
Though she spends her days feeling lonely, she’s not alone. She has her best friend Ashton, her faithful black lab, Master Chief, and most importantly, her Xbox.
CeeCee (aka PrettyPanties to her online gamer friends) is quite the badass in the high-paced, high friction, alien-killing, Nazi-shooting world of gaming, and she’s finally caught the attention of her one and only cyber crush, MrNotSoSmall@All.
If you’ve ever been stuck in life (like really freaking stuck) and in love (like, really freaking in love) with a man who knows you only as your gamer tag (I realize it’s sad) then you know how badly CeeCee needs to get a life. But maybe with just the right push and a much-needed sense of humor, she can finally break free from her fear and live the life her father dreamed for her, the life She knows she deserves to live.
