Holy hotness. This book is fire. The taboo, forbidden, age gap combo- I gobbled it right up.
River and Sloane meet each other at an airport and hit it off instantly. Their chemistry and attraction to one another is instant. After a HOT, filthy couple of weeks together it’s time for River to start the school year teaching Bio and being the head football coach. What he isn’t expecting is Sloane to show up on the first day as one of his students. Especially after she told him she was starting college and 21 years old. 🫣
The forbidden aspect of this one is perfection. I am obsessed with River and his filthy mouth. The man knows what he wants and even though he needs to stay away from Sloane…he just can’t help himself. 😏

Review of Advance Copy Received from the Author.
“You’re trouble when you drink,” she tells me.
“You were already trouble for me sober.”
It was never in question whether I was going to love this book, Q.B. Tyler never disappoints. She does forbidden romance so incredibly well, and this was no exception. I devoured this book in less than 5 hours.
My only complaint was that I needed more of these two. I’m obsessed. 😩♥️
Going into it, I was a little nervous because I typically don’t read age-gap romances where the FMC is still in high school. I was worried it would make me uncomfortable, but Q.B. Tyler handled it thoughtfully. She makes it very clear from the start that the FMC is 19 years old, acknowledges the age gap throughout the story, and emphasizes that the MMC never takes advantage of her. They don’t even meet until she’s already 19, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while reading.
My only real criticism is that I wish it had been longer. The ending felt a little abrupt, and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters.
Overall, another 10/10 ⭐️ for Q.B. Tyler. Thank you for the ARC I absolutely loved it, and now I’m just wishing there were a few more chapters.

Oh how I missed QB’s writing!! River Kincaid 🫠🥵🔥 is all I have to say. 10/10 no notes and why you are the QUEEN of spicy taboo romance. I DEVOURED this book in a day. Not sure what you put in these books but they never disappoint.
The chemistry between River & Sloane is IMMEDIATE and you can feel it coming off the pages.
Sloane was such a fierce sassy FMC and I loved it! Yes she was 19 years younger than River but she had no issue speaking her mind, telling him exactly what she wants and pursuing this relationship even though he’s her teacher 🤭

One thing about me, I am a sucker for a teacher x student trope. Plus a 19 year age gap and add in a daddy kink. Hell to the yes 🥵
This book was such a fun read. I was hooked. It had chemistry, spice, emotions, plot.
One thing I love about Q B Tyler’s writing is that she writes the best spice scenes but it doesn’t take away from the storyline like some books can. You get these absolutely filthy scenes but a whole lot of plot so you don’t feel like you are just reading spice after spice.
The story just makes you wanna keep reading.
The chemistry between River and Sloane and that man’s dirty mouth ! I love these characters. Sloane is 19 but is very mature and lived a busy life in her young years travelling the world. And River may be 38 but has the looks and personality of younger man so balance out this age gap.
Another book by Q B Tyler I highly recommend.

Holy spicy! Q.B. Tyler has knocked it out of the park again! I instantly fell in love with River and Sloane’s chemistry! The forbidden-ness was exactly was I was hoping for. The lies and secrecy and the longing between them was written so well. Getting a glimpse of Rowan and Ellie and their family was another bonus that made me so happy.
I only wish we got to see just a bit more of them as a couple not sneaking around or if they are still sneaking around, I wanted to see them as a couple behind closed doors. I LOVE the spice, don’t get me wrong, but I wanted a little bit more depth to their relationship outside of the physical intimacy. But overall I enjoyed this book and can always count on Q.B. Tyler to deliver! 👏🏼

Ah, QB Tyler is my queen when it comes to forbidden / taboo romance - And this one, once again delivered. I devoured it within 24 hours!

5/5 stars with 4/5 spice!
River is 38YO and ready to settle down. After his first love left him broken hearted over a decade ago, he has found joy in being an uncle & great coach / high school teacher to his students. But is now ready to settle down. At the airport on his way home after the Summer, he meets Sloane at the airport bar who says she is 21YO. He does think that is too young for him, and finds himself enjoying the banter & flirting. But Sloane won't let him go that quickly. And suddenly, they find themselves in a short term 2 week relationship. They agree to just have fun for 2 weeks before Sloane starts college. Only Sloane isn't due to start college, she is due to enter her senior year of high school. Oh, and Sloane is only 19YO.
Sloane has spent her teen years travel the world with her family. Now it is time for her to do her senior year like a normal student, to get into the college she desires. She is sent back home to live with her aunt & uncle, and her cousin who is like a sister to her. She wasn't expecting to fall for a 38YO man, but she can't get enough of him. She knows she has done the wrong thing in lying to him about her age, but she can't get enough. Until that is ruined on her first day of high school when she finds River is her biology teacher.
River tries his hardest to stay away from Sloane. He is horrified he slept with one of his students unknowingly. But as the year goes on, River finds himself choosing Sloane over his job. Which may cost him more than just his career...
River was quite immature for 38YO and I can see how Sloane thought he was in his high 20s and not high 30s, while Sloane was definitely more mature for a 19YO. They worked. And I hope we get to read more about them in the future. It was also nice to catch up with Ellie & Rowan from the previous book - "The Nanny is Off Limits". I enjoyed reading about River being a great uncle, and I know him & Sloane will make great parents one day.

River is 38YO and ready to settle down. After his first love left him broken hearted over a decade ago, he has found joy in being an uncle & great coach / high school teacher to his students. But is now ready to settle down. At the airport on his way home after the Summer, he meets Sloane at the airport bar who says she is 21YO. He does think that is too young for him, and finds himself enjoying the banter & flirting. But Sloane won't let him go that quickly. And suddenly, they find themselves in a short term 2 week relationship. They agree to just have fun for 2 weeks before Sloane starts college. Only Sloane isn't due to start college, she is due to enter her senior year of high school. Oh, and Sloane is only 19YO.
Sloane has spent her teen years travel the world with her family. Now it is time for her to do her senior year like a normal student, to get into the college she desires. She is sent back home to live with her aunt & uncle, and her cousin who is like a sister to her. She wasn't expecting to fall for a 38YO man, but she can't get enough of him. She knows she has done the wrong thing in lying to him about her age, but she can't get enough. Until that is ruined on her first day of high school when she finds River is her biology teacher.
River tries his hardest to stay away from Sloane. He is horrified he slept with one of his students unknowingly. But as the year goes on, River finds himself choosing Sloane over his job. Which may cost him more than just his career...
River was quite immature for 38YO and I can see how Sloane thought he was in his high 20s and not high 30s, while Sloane was definitely more mature for a 19YO. They worked. And I hope we get to read more about them in the future. It was also nice to catch up with Ellie & Rowan from the previous book - "The Nanny is Off Limits". I enjoyed reading about River being a great uncle, and I know him & Sloane will make great parents one day.

OMG, this book was SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! The Cheerleader Is Off Limits by Q.B. Tyler is book two in the Off Limits Duology. HOT, sexy, the perfect forbidden tension, age gap, taboo student/teacher book as only Q.B. writes!

I loved seeing Rowan, Ellie and the kids, they made the story even that much better to have them a huge part of it!

The second this ARC landed on my Kindle, I literally dropped everything. I told myself i will read "just a few chapters"... yeah, that was a lie because I looked up and HOURS had passed. I was completely gone.
Q.B. Tyler, WHAT DO YOU PUT IN YOUR BOOKS?! Because I swear every single time I think she can't outdo herself... she does. She is the reason I keep coming back to forbidden romance. Nobody does the tension, the angst, the chemistry, and the spice like she does. She just gets me.
And River...🫠 EXCUSE ME?? This man had me giggling, blushing, kicking my feet, and questioning my sanity. He's ridiculously hot, charming, protective, and I was obsessed with him from page one. I didn't stand a chance.
But honestly? Sloane completely stole my heart too. I LOVED her. She's young, but she's so much wiser than people give her credit for. She's sassy, funny, confident, and never backs down. I loved how she challenged River instead of just falling at his feet. She was such a fun heroine to read.
The chemistry between these two?? Absolutely INSANE. Every scene together had me screaming internally. I kept telling myself, "Okay, one more chapter," and then suddenly I was halfway through the book.
I'm so, SO thankful I got the chance to read this ARC because this was hands down one of my most anticipated releases of the year, and it somehow exceeded all of my expectations.

Sloane is seriously a legend!! She was a damn strong and independent girl with a side of vulnerability and at 19 knew what she wanted and went for it!!
River is just such an amazing guy!! He owns up to the fact that he has a playboy past but knows that he is ready to settle down and start being serious and change is ways!!
Absolutely loved how River and Sloane’s story started and avalanched from there…The sexy time, the sweet moments, the angst was all palpable while reading!!
I loved how flawed both of these characters were but even with everything against them, they wanted to be with each other and were going to overcome the obstacles!!
It made me so happy to see Rowan, Ellie, Margot, SJ and Isla again…Loved the when Isla told River that she “has a 7 o’clock with Barbie, so he may need to make an appointment”
Mack, this boy made me like him, then made me want to punch him, then wanted to hug him…I know we never met his parents but the brief thought River had about his mom made me think “his mother would be ashamed”

I love myself a forbidden book and QB Tyler is the queen! You want forbidden? Check! You want spice? Check! You want a DADDY?! Check check! Phew, this book had some heat!
What I absolutely love about QB’s writing is her ability to write her characters as real, flawed humans, but who are able to communicate their wants and needs like adults. River and Sloane may have started off rocky with her lying about being 21 and actually being 19 and in school no less, but they worked so well together.
Sloane was wise beyond her years, yet also still a teen navigating life’s tough choices. River was a playboy, who was looking for a real connection that would lead to settling down. Despite what one would considered as being in opposite places in life, they both provided exactly what the other one was looking for.
While overall this was a solid book, I do wish we got to see more of them as an official couple. The ending was a little too quick for my liking and I wish we had some more time to really see how they would work outside of the forbidden aspect of their relationship. Alas, the spice was piping, the chemistry sizzling, and if you love QB’s books, you are gonna enjoy this one.

The girls who had to figure it all out without much help and the girls who could never be anything less than perfect because there was no choice. For girls like me.
Filled with palpable tension, off-the-charts spice, and delicious sneaking around… this book was such a fun ride.

I picked this book up and COULD NOT put it down! There are certain things I love and can always count on from QB, and that’s an MMC with a filthy mouth 🤭 and an epic dry humping scene 🫣. Dare I say this is my new fave from the queen of spice?! Definitely my new favorite QB Daddy!

I picked this book up and COULD NOT put it down! There are certain things I love and can always count on from QB, and that’s an MMC with a filthy mouth 🤭 and an epic dry humping scene 🫣. Dare I say this is my new fave from the queen of spice?! Definitely my new favorite QB Daddy!

Q.B Tyler is truly the queen of taboo romance. She knows exactly how to push the boundaries and create stories that are packed with tension, chemistry and just the right amount of angst. Once I started this one, I couldnt put it down.
Sloane Hunter and River Kincaid absolutely delivered. Their chemistry was off the charts and their obsession with one another was radiating off the pages. I love that Sloane know exactly what and who she wanted from the very beginning; the hot older biology teacher and football coach covered in tattoos that she met on the flight home. River may have tried to keep his distance but he never stood a chance. That man is absolutely filthy and his inability to resist Sloane made the tension between them so much better.
I also love that we got to see Rowan and Ellie again. I love that they were still such an important part of the story and it was so fun getting to see little glimpses into their lives.

Let me tell you, River is the appropriate name for the MMC because with a mouth like that 👀😉. QB Tyler always does forbidden in such a hot way and it makes you question your own moral compass in the best way possible. I was yearning for this book to continue going - this was such a quick read, right under 300 pages and it could have been 600 the way I wanted to devour the banter between River and Sloane.

This was everything I want in a taboo age gap romance and then some. The tension? Delicious. The forbidden vibes? Absolutely unhinged. The “we know we shouldn’t, but we also know we’re going to” energy? Inject it straight into my veins.
I finished this in ONE DAY because apparently sleep and responsibilities are optional when a book has me this hooked. My only complaint is that it ended because I was absolutely not ready to say goodbye.
The chemistry was everything, the spice delivered, and the angst had me completely invested. And that detention scene? Yeah… that will forever be engraved in my brain. 🫠
Q.B. Tyler knows how to write a forbidden romance that keeps you turning pages while simultaneously yelling at the characters to make better choices (even though you’re secretly loving every second of their terrible decisions).

As we ALL know QB is the Queen of forbidden romance and she wears that crown for good reason. Because River “Daddy” Kincaid just shot up to the top of my fav MMCs by QB. The way I did not want this book to end....I would not be mad if there was another River and Sloane book or novella or anything lol. This also might be one of my fav QB books ever. Every minute of this book was 5 stars. It had the plot, it had the spice, and it kept you wanting more! 1000/10 recommend and I cannot wait for this to be out on audio so I can read it AGAIN!

He couldn't stop thinking about her, and she felt just as drawn to him. Their chemistry is undeniable, making it nearly impossible for them to stay away from each other.

The Cheerleader is Off Limits by QB Tyler has all the elements I love and it delivered! The spice was so good and the tension between these characters was hot as hell. I sincerely appreciated that River's level of maturity matched Sloane's, but the angst leading up to them finally being able to be together had me unable to put this book down!
I loved it so much, I wish it were longer and we could really get to enjoy them finally being settled, but this story was absolutely a page-turner.

4.5 stars - I ate this one up in one sitting! River and Sloane were the definition of everything I love about a good, spicy age gap romance. Throw in the forbidden element of him being her teacher (she’s 19, so everything’s above board), and this was a good time.
Even though there was a lot of spice, QB still built an emotional connection between the characters from the moment they met. I could’ve read two hundred more pages about them, they were a fun couple!
It was also great seeing River with his brother’s family (Rowan’s book is The Nanny Is Off Limits)! It would’ve been nice seeing more moments of Sloane hanging out with the entire gang, but this book wasn’t about them, so I get it.
Definitely recommend!
