Before turning to full-time writing, she was curator, and then head, of the Greenwich Royal Observatory.

While this book is dated, that only impacts the tools available. The explanations of what to look for in the sky are very helpful.

i like how it tells facts and fun facts like "the earth is tint compared to the sun. I think people that like space should really read it.
