Step Into the Faery Realm-Here, it is, what is...

Sweet Magic Song (For Love of Fae Trilogy Book One)
Belle Bittner was sold to the highest bidder when she was just a child, sought for the magic lying dormant in her blood. She grew up as the adopted daughter of a wealthy vampire couple, and serving the child-trafficking Org seemed her only option in life. But Belle has other plans, and she won’t let anyone get in the way of her escape, even if it means betraying those who try to help her.

Desperate to stay free of an evil vampire who means to possess her no matter what, Belle decides she can use the protection of the flirtatious faery named Roon. The two of them flee to the faery realm where Rooney believes he can better protect her. What he doesn’t know is that taking the beautiful siren through the golden door will set off a cataclysm of events that will threaten the fabric of both the human and the faery worlds.

Separating myth from fact to decipher the truth about her powers could mean the destruction of the new life Belle’s trying so hard to build.

Transcendent (For Love of Fae Book Two)
To the Women on the Hill McKenna is a spy who sails the nightwind to keep close tabs on her people. In truth, McKenna is a double operative, an integral part of an underground rebellion. The Women are secretly bleeding the fae of their powers then banishing them to the Island Anethemusa; but the Dissenters, rebels who suffer under the crushing power of the Women, mean to put an end to their reign.

When McKenna happens upon a talking weasel, she knows she’s found the perfect envoy for her covert mission. Robin Weir’s punishment for a life of betrayal is to be stripped of his magic and exiled as an animal in a foreign realm. He’s used to dirty jobs and subterfuge so becoming McKenna’s errand boy should be a simple task.

But things heat up when Robin finds he has the power to shift into a man again. For McKenna the pet she’s invited into her home now wants nothing less than to possess her heart, body and soul. With the uprising at the ready, lives could be lost if McKenna can’t balance her separate identities of spy, rebel and lover.

A Dangerous Season (For Love of Fae Book Three)
Pain, joy, death, life, magic: All of it fits. Or does it…

The faery realm is in a frenzy now that the Women on the Hill are no longer united in power. The fabric of life as the fae know it is changing, and with it the dynamics of friends, lovers and neighbors.

Devan will risk both her life and Kent’s love to locate her missing father. Nicky must follow Gerry headfirst into danger as she runs from the new demons within herself. Doc and Jill choose an ally in the cold war between faery factions as Robin struggles to help McKenna recover from a loss that could cripple her forever. Kristana and Langston seek answers and follow a ghost into enemy territory, while Rooney confronts the challenges of Belle’s growing powers and the path revealed for their lives.

A collision of forces could create a new order between the faery and human realms, but will everyone survive the fallout of the cataclysm?

SPECIAL BONUS SHORT: One Bite Paradise (A Bend-Bite-Shift Short Story)
Jill’s wish gave Doc a new chance at life – literally. Almost a decade of years have passed since Jill watched her lover get killed and now that time is like a chasm between them. Can they learn how to make One Bite of Paradise become an eternity?

I received this book set in exchange of an honest review.
I really didn't know what to expect seeing as this is my first experience with the author.
She certainly didn't disappoint!!

The first book in the set is about Belle and Roon. She was an adopted child to vampire parents. She and three other children were saved by the child trafficking Org.
The Org being an organization that feeds off of the magic in small children.
She was set to marry Lodar a vampire from the age of 17. Until she realized what a monster he really is. Throughout the years she's learned a few gruesome things he's done and she will not stand for it any more. She has to leave to be free from him but he doesn't want to let her go.
In comes Roon a red haired green eyed Fairy. He comes in just in time to sweep her off her feet and save Belle and the three kids from Lodar.

The second book is the story of McKenna and Robin.
McKenna is a fairy living in the realm with the furry weasel Robin. She is working as a Sentinel for the Women. She keeps watch over the inhabitants and has to turn in anyone that is rebellious towards the Women. Her aunt Aoi behind the Woman's back has formed a group called the Dissenters. They are a group that has come together to overthrow the Women and restore order. Will they restore the order or will the Women win? You'll see!!
This one was my favorite!!

The third and last book is the story of Devan and Kent.
In the third and last installment Devan's father goes missing in the realm and one of the Women sisters is found dead in the water floating face down by Belle and Roon.
Devan is even more determined to find her father even if she has to go to the winter realm herself and face Báisteach.
This one by far was my favorite!!:)
One little note that extremely important is that in order to understand what is going on you need to read the Bend-Bite-Shift trilogy first. Because they randomly refer to other people in the book that have appeared in the other books. It's not a must but it'll help you understand the relationship of the characters in this book.

By now if you've read any of my reviews you will I'm a Paranormal fanatic. Olivia Hardin is a new author for me. I read the Trilogy
"For Love of Fae", at first it was a little slow and then it started to pick up and it turn out to be a really good story in fact there are three stories.
#1 Sweet Magic of Fae
Belle Bittner, as a child she was auctioned off to some rich vampires. Of course they loved her Blood which was best elixir they'd ever had. This couple had her attend to the child-trafficking Org. But Belle had to escape no matter what she had to do she would.
Roon short for Rooney did know if he could go on on life without his love Devan. Wasting away I'm a bottle. But then he met Belle and his heart was beating away. Roon would help Belle no matter what because he knew they belong to each other. This was such a great book I can't wait to see the
next book.
#2 Transcendent
This book is about the Women on the Hill were controlling the Fairy Realm . These women became greedy for power, so they were stealing from the Fairies. McKenna who spies for the Women on the Hill is a sentinel fairy, who becomes friends with Robin Weir who was also know as Robbie the Weasel. He was sent to the fae realm, he was turned into a weasel with no powers for his lies and betrayals.
This was a fabulous read I loved it and sailed right though of course dinner was late But I finished the book.
#3 A Dangerous Season
This is the final book for
"For the Love of Fae " and it's an explosion
of every emotion for all the characters put together in this last book... This really is a must read Boxset. You'll Love it
I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

Sweet Magic Song:
What a perfectly charming story. I realized after I started reading that this is the second set of stories after the Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy. I wish I would have read the first set first, but I really didn't need to in order to follow the plot. The only problem with not reading the Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy was not really knowing the characters. I had the feeling they were all well developed characters from the first series, but they were still fun and you got to know their characters' as you read. I can't wait to start Transcendent to see what happens next. I also really do want to read Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy, because I know there is more to this story...

Transcendent
This story is about two of the characters from Bend-Bite-Shift Trilogy. Apparently Robbie must of really POed Devan in this trilogy because he was somehow made into a ferret in the Fae Realm. This story is about his affection and love for a Sentinel Fairy who just wants to do her job and help in the revolution. Another good read. It was action packed and a whole lot of fun.

A Dangerous Season
Yeah! No new, or should I say, old that I hadn't met yet, characters. The whole game get together to A) Protect the Fae Realm B) Find Devan's father C) Assist a strange Fae woman who is very pregnant with a strange child. Very exciting and this story gave me a lot more interesting insight to the character. I do highly recommend this series. It's fun and has a lot of action to keep you interested.

I was given an ARC for an honest review

What a great series filled with danger, betrayal, magic, love and a menagerie of paranormal species. Each book in this set is a continuation of the story given in the point of view of a different character. Everyone played a big part in the storyline development and as the story unfolds you are given glimpses into events that help to explain and depth to each of the characters. There were a lot of different magical properties going on and every unique ability was crucial to the plot. Some characters were coming into more of their untapped powers and it was exciting to see them emerge. Ms. Hardin created a Fae world divided into seasons not dark and light giving the main power to four individual women and one who controlled the water. As with most powerful beings, power eventually corrupts setting off events that will change both the human and Fae worlds. I liked the realism that even in a magical realm they made mistakes, made bad decisions and questioned the powers that be. This was a well written, well thought out exciting storyline filled with great characters and a unique concept. I look forward to reading more from this great author.

I love all stories about the Fae and this set is no exception. It's a page turner, I had to force myself to stop reading it. It's fast paced and very engaging. I liked the way she broke up it up between the different character's points of view for each book without losing sight of the main plot and their specific roles in it. Through out the story you get an even balance of the character's personal life and what's going on outside their doors. Everything and everyone is heavily intertwined without losing any current details relative to the over all story. The way she gave each season it's own region with it's own groups of Fae and it's own respective Woman was unique. The Fae interacted with one another and moved everywhere, but each had their own things unique to the region they were born in. Most stories I have read everything is mixed together with one ruling party. I did however feel with the way she wrote some of the character's and their interactions there was some back story I missed leading up to this point. She covered tid bits some of what went on before with them, but it didn't seem like enough.

This was the first time I read anything from this author. Only until I got to the end did I realise that there was another Box set called Bend-Bite-Shift before the For Love of Fae box set. Stupid me, but believe it or not, although at first I started out with being confused by all the characters ( out of my own stupidity), soon turned to being captivated by the whole story and page after page a whole new world unfolded in my mind. A world of magic, battles, excitement and most of all, conquering love. Olivia Hardin has surely surprised me with her work and I will certainly look out for more.

I've read many books by Olivia Hardin, so my expectations were set pretty high. As usual, she exceeded them and blew them right out of the water with the For Love of Fae Box Set. The characters were well thought out. The writing was amazing and the story kept me interested. The characters all had flaws which made them easy to relate to and easy to root for and against. Getting the box set means you don't have to wait for the next book in the series come out, they're all right there. So if you enjoy the fantastical world of fairies, vampires, shifters, etc, do yourself a favor and pick up this set. You'll be glad you did.

I loved the twists and turns in the plot of this story. The characters were very interesting and kept my attention. The beginning was a little bit slow but about 5% in that changed and it picked up and I had to keep reading until I was finished. I loved it so much and am very glad I got to review it.
