From a young age, Kira Trousseau knew she was different. She just didn't know how different!
Her parents had abandoned her as an infant. And she'd grown up in the system. Being passed from one foster home to another.
For it seemed, not only did her parents not want her. Apparently, neither did anyone else after she'd reached the age of ten. As she had a tendency to frighten those that took her in since she suffered from horrible nightmares. As well things had a way of mysteriously becoming incinerated within the homes she occupied.
The orphanage who housed her had almost given up placing her. When, at the tender age of twelve, beaten down by life and disillusioned by the injustice of the world. She had found herself placed within yet another foster home.
This time, it was in the home of a man named Miles Lambros. A home where she acquired not only a loving father figure. But three, noisy, irritating brothers that she looked upon as true siblings. That was all except one.
As something different simmered between Dante Lambros and Kira. A something that had ignited from the moment she'd laid eyes on him. A something that several years later, had caused the heat between them to flare out of control.

I was born and raised in a small town in Oklahoma, where I found a love for words at a young age. I'm an avid rock collector, love the sun (I get temperamental and whiny when it's raining). I'm a coffeeholic (long ago replaced my blood with the stuff) and love German Chocolate cake and Banana pudding (yeah, I have a sweet-tooth). I have an awesomely wonderful husband and five adult children. Two sons who are wonderful young men, (mama couldn't be prouder) and are volunteer firefighters in a small town in rural Oklahoma, as well as work their butts off at full-time jobs. Three daughters. #1, is a courageous, caring, loving person, and is finding her way in this big old world, #2 does her thing and goes her own way, and #3 is employed full-time, going to school to become a nurse, and is working at being an author in her spare time. I have 10 grandchildren (God do I feel old) that I love very much and would love to see more of. Well, I guess that's about all as that pretty much sums up all there is to know about this author! ;-)

A book for lovers of the paranormal. Somewhat imbalanced in terms of narrative and dialogue and with some of the adult content struggling to connect, this is nonetheless an enjoyable read. The premise is original and delivered with a very individual style which I quite enjoyed. Happy to give this one three well deserved stars

I just finished reading this book last nite, and im so excited i cannot wait for the second book to come out. If you love adult romance novels, then this book is for you. The novel is very detailed in romance. I am giving it a 5 star rating...
Please read this book its guaranteed to keep your imagination going if you can picture in your head as you read whats going on in the story. I would recommend this book to my friends and of anyone else that would be interested.

Plz tell me that ur making a part two for ancient blood!...just finished reading it I give it a 5star rating...I cant wait till u have another...I'll buy all ur books and I'll be ur biggest reading fan...
